Pacini - Banff
Really nice atmosphere and service is great. The menu was great and the food was even better. This was our 6 year old’s choice and our kids enjoyed the experience.
The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and made the entire night enjoyable.
Unfortunately service has a big impact. We took the time to make a reservation and when we got there were several people in front of us that didn’t. Not a big deal since it wasn’t that busy but others without reservations got seated in nice places and we my daughter and I got out in a corner behind a post for two. The other couch like seating was the filled with other parties of two. Initial greeting to service w by the server was weak. We were just taking up a table and he couldn’t get us out quick enough. Unfortunate because they food was good.
Delicious food at the right price in the heart of Banff.
The food was tasty although a bit disappointing. There is a bread grilling station that is unique. The downside: the bread is sliced white, dark, sesame seed. Couldn’t they have used Italian? Pizza duette provided mild tasting pizza with undercooked crust. Overall a pleasant dining experience. Just don’t have your bar set high.
Good food at reasonable prices.
We enjoyed our meal. The dishes are a nice change from classic North American Italian. Service was friendly and prompt.
Liked the menu choices, salads and flatbread choices were great. Service was wonderful. Great after a day of enjoying Banff area.
From start to finish great our server Kat timed everything perfectly and the bread bar was a nice surprise.
It was a birthday dinner which was indicated when I made reservation but no mention was made of it. Minor but why ask then?
Food good not outstanding. Bread bar where you grill your choice of bread and toppings could be great if they used a fresh bakery Tuscan Bread. C’mon chef really? Store bought sandwich bread? Cheesy. Steak was cooked to order and flavorful. Caesar salad should have anchovy’s not bacon. ( too cheap?) Watch they don’t over dress the salad. On the positive side salad was a good portion and fresh. Minestrone soup was also good. Desserts fair. Best was chocolate mug cake. Shout out to our lovely server Micala. This place could be really great if they up there game a bit. Feels like they’re cutting some noticeable corners to save a buck.
Nice, comfy patio with good drinks and great service. Food was alright but a bit bland.
Atmosphere and service was great!
Very conveniently situated in the Moose Hotel and Suites.
I'll admit the Breadbar was a lure when reading online of the menu kind of a different idea, but the biggest disappointment at an Italian Restaurant was to have people grill "sliced bread" for themselves . There were literally only bags of sliced bread !, (no fresh Italian buns or other fresh bread options, for example baguettes. Focaccia bread, flatbread. ) It actually gave me a very negative vibe about my upcoming meal.
Pasta dishes were "ok", but lacked flavour.
Prices were reasonable.
For the price, I expected more than Sysco food and the bread table was cheap sliced bread. I was very let down. The atmosphere was excellent. So if you like cheap food that can be made at home for a pretty penny, this place is for you.
A fav place of ours while in Banff! The bread grill is always a nice touch, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Staff is always friendly, thanks!
Tons of mosquitos at the outside tables, but other than that we loved the food and service was great.
Hi the worst italian restaurant i found in Canada .the pasta is not good and appetizers absolutely not italian
I fully recommend this cozy restaurant in Banff. Delicious food and very good attention.
A real find -- we walked by it several times and stopped in Saturday afternoon to check it out, went back to our hotel and made a reservation. Server Sasha J was terrific, pizza duetto options were great, and the Parmigiana chicken wings unique and flavorful. Would definitely recommend and return!
Our waiter was amazing! Gave good suggestions and even recommended things to do around town.
The food is microwaved for the most part. The chicken Parmesan was pre cooked/frozen...the calzone was gooey inside...the toasted bread is store naught slice bread...awful...
It’s unfortunate but we loved this place and they’ve change their menu and quality of food was very poor. We defiantly will not be back.
The 24$ salad was mostly greens. When we went back to the restaurant for breakfast on a sunny morning and wish to sit outside in their outdoor seating, was told it wasn't open until 11. We were somewhat in a rush so decided on takeout from their more limited "quick" menu, but was told it would take a while, si we dashed off down the street to another establishment which served us quickly.
Great menu, service and food! Loved our dining experience! Reasonably priced compared to some of the other eating establishments. Highly recommend!
Good Italian food, portions are rather small for north american standards though
The bread grill was the best part of the entire dining experience. We all loved it!
Our order was messed up and it truly was a misunderstanding on both parts. However the end result was we ended up paying for and throwing away an extra pizza. Just wish the server would of owned up the thier half of the confusion and done something to make it right.
Food was overall very bland and it took forever for the food to arrive
Good was okay. Atmosphere was nice. Bread bar was good. Service was good until we got our meal. Server seemed to forget abt us and didn't bring more water or our ticket for at least 20 minutes after we finished our meal.
The service was excellent, the food was amazing. I had the arugula and prosciutto pasta. The flavor profile was perfectly balanced. So good. Can't recommend this place enough.
Everything involving food, beverage, and ambience was superb. On the other hand, our server was generally inattentive. There were long periods of time between servings. And we had to track down the server to finally get our bill! She was nice, just inattentive.
Food was NOT good whatsoever. My chicken was boiled with no flavor! The meatballs were frozen. Do not eat here!
We stopped here for breakfast prior to starting our tour because the first stop was at the Moose hotel where Pacini is located. The breakfast I chose was the Duo- 2 eggs, breakfast potatoes and the bread bar. The service was top notch. The price was reasonable. It was a great breakfast stop.
Some of our food was cold and also over priced for what you get
Fries appetizer was a bit disappointing; a little dry and the zucchini in it didn’t really work - too thinly sliced, so it was dry and hard to find. The toast bar was a neat touch, lots of good butters/spreads. Food came very late - after second drink order was half consumed in the wait. Cod was tasty, as was the ravioli, but husband’s lasagne was not heated through - parts were luke warm, which ruined his overall impression.
Visited Pacini on Mother's Day for breakfast and was not disappointed. Not really a place that I would recommend for a special occasion, but a very good choice for everyday dining. We booked only because it was next door to our hotel and were limited for time due to travel. Would definitely recommend for breakfast. We have also visited the Calgary location for dinner, and it was also very good.
This is our 5 year olds favourite restaurant, anytime we’re in Banff this is where we go to eat. Food is always spot on and the children’s menu is amazing value. If you want to have Italian food, go here!
Yui,our server was outstanding. Very attentive and friendly!
Food was delicious, and great value.
We’d definitely return
