   Treated four of us to the Chef's Selection and what an experience. Lovely establishment, perfectly situated on the Basin overlooking the River. Waiting staff were absolutely fantastic, happy, friendly, knowledgeable, talkative, a real treat to see so many taking their work with so much pride. And then the food... oh my goodness. The depth and range of flavours on offer was above reproach with clear pride taken every step of the way. Very skilled chefs. Bravo. Definitely worth the expense for a special occasion!

   I just felt the portion sizes for the dishes were a bit too cheeky for the price, for example the chixken and morel dish with wild garlic was 1 thigh cut up and sandwitched between 2 or 3 morel mushroom, that was 26 quid, olives was stingy aswell, the food was all very tasty and good style of service relaxed and was very pleasent but i feel like for the price it was pretty cheeky

   Some really delicious food - the pork ribs and octopus were particularly delicious! Was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine out at the front of the restaurant with a great view. Staff were really friendly and knew lots about the food/wine. We took our baby and it wasn’t brilliant for him as although he was made to feel welcome by staff they had high chairs that were too low for the tables outside and inside so we had to take it in shifts to hold him as he couldn’t reach the table or see anyone from the chair. Not very relaxing! and no baby changing facilities! If I’m paying £300 for a meal I don’t want to change my baby on the toilet floor. Please please consider putting a simple changing table in your disabled loo - I’m sure you don’t get lots of babies but when you do parents would very much appreciate that they be catered for too 😊 Overall would recommend and go again but as a parent and v short person the high tables and lack of baby changing spoilt it a bit for me. Easy to sort though Poco Tapas!

   This was one of the best tapas restaurants I have been to outside of Spain and even rivals some in Spain. The food presentation and quality is outstanding. The service is excellent with the waiters taking their time to explain everything to you and answer any questions you may have. We sat outside next to the wharf which added an extra special touch but I’m sure being inside would be lovely too with the open kitchen. The only thing if I had to note anything would be that we could hear the inside music from outside so sitting inside might be a little loud for anyone that is hard of hearing. All in all there is no doubt in my mind that I will go back and I will highly recommend to anyone.

   The service here was outstanding. Everything we ordered was delicious. We were surprised with how good the desserts were too. Overall the best tapas in Bristol. Only downside was the cost, averaging at around £75 a head, and the plates were on the small side. (£9 for two croquettes, £16 for 6 slices of prosciutto).

   We enjoyed a gorgeous meal by the harbour at Paco Tapas this weekend. The food was delicious and the servers so knowledgable about the menu and ready with recommendations. From the start we felt welcome and the service was excellent. Would definitely visit again.!

    What a fantastic meal. This place really lives up to its reputation. Couldn't fault any of the dishes, and we had many... The staff were all excellent. Every dish was explained when they brought them to us. We sat at the "bar" which is in fact against the kitchen, and it was like being at a chefs table with the chefs happy to chat about the food and you got a front row seat to it all being prepared. Standouts were the Pedro Ximénez flan (like a creme caramel), the Cauliflower with Manchego and the Tomato Salad. Every single plate was excellent but these three just pipped the others for us.     Great service, and it’s an overall great place with an excellent menu, but the value for money is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Paid over £20+ for octopus and what came was half a tentacle sliced in smaller segments. The cold meats were thin enough to think they were sliced with a monomolecular blade - I’ve seen paper thicker. I get that small quantities and high prices make it seem like you’re privileged to be there eating the chef’s food, and what you’re eating is of the highest quality, but it didn’t leave a POSITIVE memorable impression. It was negative. The whole way home we talked about how we felt robbed. No combination of great service and atmosphere can overpower the extortionate pricing and microscopic quantities.

    Superb staff and chefs were amazing. We tried 8 dishes and all were excellent. Our servers were knowledgeable and gave fantastic advice. We would go back next time we’re in Bristol. Chairs are a little uncomfortable if you have a long dinner but ambiance was cozy and welcoming.

    We were most impressed that our request to be out of the restaurant and on our way to the theatre by 7pm was met with one minute to spare! The staff were extremely helpful on that front and in every other way, and despite our time constraints we did not feel at all rushed. The food was excellent. Thank you!

    Went for dinner and was phenomenal. Staff all very knowledgable of the food and wine and provided us some great recommendations. The seared Tuna was the kidday. Finished meal with a glass of sherry. Highly recommend, will be going back.

    A very enjoyable meal, a lot of options on the menu for both food and drink. The service was really good, and we had a very knowledgeable waiter in Berti who was really fun to engage with throughout the evening as well. The menu is on the expensive side so just be aware of that, but the quality of the food and drink means the price is very fair.

    Wonderful food. The flavours were amazing and the cookign was to perfection. The standout dishes were definetely the Sirloin, Leeks and the Flan. The spanish omelette was also a work of art!! Service was great, and the team was really patient in taking us through all the different food on the menu. It is pricey but absolutely worth the experience

    Delicious fine dining tapas and very attentive service form staff who really knew their stuff. Table next door to us was quite loud and slightly spoilt the atmosphere but that was through no fault of the staff and it didn’t ruin our evening. It was a pricey meal for small plates for two people however it was an experience as well as just a meal out and every aspect was cooked to perfection. As it was for our anniversary we didn’t mind splashing out for a special occasion!

    Great food. Great staff. No complaints there at all. However the prices were very much 'Michelin star" but I couldn't truthfully put the whole package quite that high. We did have a very enjoyable meal. Recommend but with caveats as above.

    A lovely place with great food and ambience, as we saw it advertised in the Saturday Telegraph as one of the top places to eat food by the wateredge. Only downside was the high tables and chairs. Very uncomfortable after sitting on them for over an hour and seeing as the prices were very high for the food, a little more comfort would have been welcomed.
