Best thing was the service. Can’t remember the last time we went where a waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explained the menu as it was the first time in a vegan restauranant
Food was amazing. Wouldn’t even know it was vegan

Three of the people in our group of four had never been to a vegan restaurant before. Two will definitely return. The third couldn't understand how it looked real and tasted good

We love Padmanadi. We have been going for 15+ years.
When guests each order their own meal to eat (rather than sharing dishes) it would be much better for ALL meals to be served at the same time.

Two guests were served out of our party and politely waited for the others to be served but they finally said go ahead and eat. Then the other two waited another 15 minutes, although a bowl of one's rice was delivered ahead of his meal, which went cold before his meal was served. We had specifically told the server we were each ordering our own meals. This is kitchen responsibility for timing.

The wait staff were friendly, helpful and well informed. Service was prompt and friendly without being intrusive. Meals were served hot and came just a few minutes after we ordered. Restaurant was clean. One concern we had was that it was very loud. You called this energetic above; it would be more accurate to say frenetic. The wide open atmosphere contributes to this and we consider it to be unfortunate. Although we are likely to return because of the excellent food and service, the ratings would have been better if it were not so loud.

We love Padmanadi and often celebrate special occasions here. Amazing 100% vegan food - our favourites are the deep fried mock shrimp and the mock ginger beef. The noodle dishes are also favourites of ours. Their cupcakes are awesome too!

When my boyfriend ask me if it's ok for me if he was a vegetarian. I laughed...as an average Filipino girl living in a city he thought that I loved my vegetables so much..in fact when i was growing up i always had my veggies grew in our backyard. He was surprised that our first date night here way back 3 years ago was awesome. And till then we dine every 2 months here to enjoy the food we loved...especially the potatoes in chicken curry...my boyfriend is like the boy in the candy store and you should see his face enjoying them over and over. And for me I'm still studying how to get this chicken curry master in my taste so that I can make it on my own and surprise him. Yet we will never stop dining here. The Camaraderie of this restaurant is very welcoming and friendly. We loved it here.

For non-vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised and thought the food and service were great! Will be back for sure!
Only thing is I would have loved a glass of wine with my meal...

Great food and helpful service. We were there on a Thursday night for dinner and they were full so the meals did take longer than might otherwise have been expected. It was definitely worth the wait and we will definitely be back again.

I've been here several times and I always leave happy with a full belly and plenty of leftovers. The food is delicious, staff is very accommodating and pleasant, and the price is very fair for what you receive. Padmanadi is easily one of my favourite restaurants in Edmonton. I love it here!

I have to visit here every time I come to Edmonton. Just amazing food for everybody (non vegans love it just as much!). The salty chickun strips are to die for. Amazing ginger beef. Also the strawberry cheesecake was the best I ever had. The very friendliest staff. They make you feel like family. I love you guys.

A great find for those of us with Vegans or Vegetarians in our family. Padmanadi is my number one choice when looking for a vegetarian rich menu. The atmosphere is comfy, casual and kid-friendly. The restaurant is surprising large and decorated with Eastern touches and warm colours. The menu is extremely diverse and has something for everyone (even 'fake' bacon). The servers are very personable and are quick to help their customers with unique requests. I would highly recommend this as a great place to eat a meal in Edmonton.

Always enjoy authenticity of dishes. Hard to imagine it is totally vegetarian. Servers are friendly but few at lunchtime, so it takes time to get served in the afternoon. Manager is good story-teller, especially about birthdays in Indonesia! Overall, enjoyed b'day lunch.
