The food was innovative and delicious, quite a fusion of alot of different world cuisines, I'll definitely be taking my gf back for another brunch or a dinner!

We enjoyed the evening. Ate on the patio. No heaters but the food was hot upon arrival to the table. Excellent food quality. Enjoyed the variety of foods from different countries. Attentive waitstaff.

Food and service were great. Love all the art, but the music is too loud, practically impossible to hold a conversation. Would not recommend for a date night dinner.

The waiter was extremely attentive at the beginning and then not so much after our first two rounds of food. It wasn't much of a problem because we didn't order much after the first two rounds.
They require that you order off the brunch menu if you're eating before 3pm on a weekend, which was not what we were expecting. Will return to for the all day menu.
The food is very good! The portions are on the smaller side so don't be afraid to order 3-4 things in one go.
The all you can eat dining is a great deal if you have a large appetite.

Unique experience being able to try globally inspired cuisines in a tapas-style restaurant. There were a few standout dishes such as the Shrimp Stuffed Cabbage and the Churros were to die for, however other dishes left us wanting more. Many of the asian-inspired dishes seemed to all taste like they were glazed in the same sweet and spicy sauce. Other than the food, the ambience was everything I look for in an outdoor dining experience. Great seating in a great location set in the heart of Shirlington. Great experience and worth a try- but has me asking was the food worth going back for?

The food was good, drinks were good too. Our waiter, Kyle, went above and beyond and because of him, we will be back.

The short story is the food is GREAT. The service is HORRIBLE. Primarily the hostess and the manager. We made a reservation and arrived on time to be seated. Then watched as two groups who arrived after us (including a party the same size as ours) were seated before us even though all reservations were at the same time and for the same area (outside). The hostess was neither friendly nor apologetic. She just shrugged and said there was no seating. How is that possible if you have a reservation?

After avoiding us for some time, the manager appeared. Slightly more apologetic but clearly not coming over to deliver excellent customer service. Just to matter of factly inform us that a table was ready.

The server was very nice but had a large section so she wasn’t always around. No worries. She was a gem and saved our brunch experience.

Overall, if you’re looking for an anxious, disappointing experience where you’re not sure if you’ll be seated...this is the place for you. If you love horrible customer service and casual rudeness from staff, go for it!

It’s sad because the food is really good. But they don’t deserve the business.

The place is beautiful and the staff was very professional. My only concern was that of a parent and a member of a large group during brunch. We had a group of 8, but they would only seat us in different tables next to each other in 4s. When asked if we could push them together, the answer was no, no clarification, just no. We accepted this but I wonder what they would do for a party of 12 or 16. We were outside and around the corner isolated from most people so I didn't see what the problem was, but I respect the decision. Also there are no changing tables for infants/toddlers in the male or female bathroom. For such a beautiful area with families out to eat I would except a more kid friendly entertainment. But the brunch deal is worth it and the food was very good.

My partner and I had an amazing time at Palette 22. I was craving so many different types of food and Palette had them all! We had Mexican food, Indian food, Italian food, and more. It was all so delish and the portions were very large for tiny plates. Our waitress was great and we can't wait to go back again.

The restaurant was great. Chris, as a waiter, should just go home... he ranks in the top 5 worst waiters in my 47 years of life. Very put off by having to wait on us. Non our first round of ordering, we did not receive two items, he never checked on our order. There are three deserts; one was not available, so e ordered the other two, we only got one.
He finally brought us the bill, after having to ask him. My friend, who owns a restaurant, asked for a paper receipt. He then avoided getting one to us. Once he did, we found he had overcharged us! My friend then got up and called him in it and reminded him we never got 3 items we ordered...he seriously just shrugged his shoulders.
He is a joke. If we ever do come back Palette 22, we will Not allow Chris to wait on us.

Very few gluten free options. The menu has a lot of great options from different cuisines they just aren’t all executed very well. We did bottomless and it took forever to get our food

The food was amazing. The drinks were tasty but didn’t taste like there was much alcohol in them. The overall environment and atmosphere was amazing! However, the service was poor we were waiting for drinks for 10+ minutes.

Food & server were great however getting to that point was horrible. Outside seating is limited which I understand however we were skipped over 4-5 times after being told you're next, the hostess was made aware of our observations politely so she thru her hands up & said "Whateverrr" in a very dismissive manner. Customer facing employees should pact themselves with patience & tactfulness especially in these trying times.

Brunch was amazing from the food to the service. The art was a good conversation starter the only downside is this that it was a crowded and too noisy to hear each other.

I can’t imagine paying 8-10 dollars to do a la carte. You need 2-3 dishes for a decent meal, so all you can eat is inevitable for the price. So in that sense, sure it can be worth the dollar. The selling point for me would be to make mimosas and such unlimited for a 10 dollar price tag or something to that effect to tie things together. Overall I’d say it was an unexciting meal that with a 83 dollar tab for 2 people

I’d definitely come back, but a lot of the food was cold. Even after we brought it to the attention of the waiter, we still received cold items.

Service can be a bit slow on busy weekends, but only if you are in a rush. The staff are great and the food is good.

I really enjoyed most of the food. However, I found the stuffed cabbage roll to be very salty and also wasn’t sure if the shrimp was cooked enough as it had a slimy texture. The server was excellent!! Keep orders straight and fast! Not too keen on pet friendly atmosphere either. I’ll go back though

Good options for happy hour. Never had a bad meal here. Tried bulgogi pizza for the first time. Creative tapas and ideal location for licking up with folks. Social distancing norms and plenty of room.
