    The food was good, but I’m not sure it was worth $65. We had to ask for seconds of the meats we did like. And some of the choices were tough and overdone to my liking. It would have been so much better if the grill meats came at the same time and as the sides were hot. For example the pork would have been good if it could have been eaten with the pineapple. We both agreed the food was good, but are in agreement that it’s probably not at the top of our lists to try again I was not a fan of the distorted lounge covers, and the ambiance was loud. It was hard to hold a conversation over other tables. Overall a 3/5. We were glad we tried it but probably won’t give it a second try

    I would call it false advertising, saying start at 18.95 and leave it at that is definitely deceiving. You should mention for salad bar only. Adding 18% gratuity without warning is another bad thing!!!!! It used to be for groups of 8 or more

    Over priced for what you get. Felt like there was not much variety in the meats, we stayed for 1 hr roughly and didn’t chicken to our table at all. the pork and the beef felt like they were the same things, nothing really different from one another, and the salad bar I didn’t trust as the lettuce in the pans were in a big pool of water so they were soaking wet when you put it on your plate. My husband was also served water in a cracked water glass. The wine however was good

    Diners, go for the standard salad bar and off the skewer beef (which is definitely NOT from the grocery store). It’s the best deal. If you can fit it in, the desserts are great! As a gluten free diner, having ALL the sauces labeled is great for me! I would, however, like to see more Canadian wines on the wine list, although the choices are pretty good. The beer they carry is all local. All in all, a great experience - it’s one of our faves!

    We hadn’t dined at Pampa in almost a year since their renovation. It is quite a bit smaller and to be honest has lost some of its ambiance, but it shouldn’t have effected the quality of food. I feel there must be a high turnover in cooking staff because it was quite a disappointment. Most of the skewers were over cooked and lightly or not seasoned or marinated at all. One of my favorites used to be the lamb and bacon wrapped steak. The lamb didn’t taste like lamb at all and the bacon wrapped presentations were so charred the bacon was burnt to a crisp and the meats were dried out. We generally like our Red meats medium rare and it wasn’t available on any of the skewers. Really unfortunate experience.

    The salad bar was adequate, but many things were just raw chopped vegetables. I did not see much creativity. The little cheese buns were phenomenal! The soups and stews we're mostly bland except for the stroganoff, which did not have much meat in it. The meat selection at the table was good, but the quality was not fabulous. It was okay. Our server did very well.

    We were a party of 8 on a Tuesday evening. We found that most of the meats tasted the same except for the chicken, which we had for to ask for at the end of the meal. Also had to ask for the pineapple. The mashed potatoes were sloppy and watery with no structure. Server spilled coffee on the table and chair and did not bring a cloth to wipe up. I used the setting's napkin to do the clean up as the last 2 guests arrived and had to ask for a clean napkin We used gift cards for most of our dinner. A mandatory 18% tip was already included on the bill on and then the device requested another tip!!! And the server suggested that my husband should add another tip!! He gave her a $50 bill for the $35 amount owing above the value of the gift cards he was holding. The server asked if my husband wanted change from the $50! Of course he wanted change! Then the server indicated that she would have to find some change and took off with the $50 bill. My husband waited and waited and waited. Finally she came back to the counter. It was clear that she had hoped that he would just give up waiting and leave without his change. She also said well she doesn't keep all of the 18% but it has to be shared with everybody else. We're not unaware. We know how the tipping works and that she also gets her percentage of all the other 18% gratuities that you force from your customers. Then she indicated that she needed to calculate the amount of change due and headed off again. Wayne told her to give him back the $15 of change that was due him. We feel that her greediness was very rude. We will not be back.

    You can never go wrong with Pampa. All I can say is to expect the meat sweats and go there hungry. You will look for a cave to hibernate in by the time you are done. 🤣
