We had hoped for a nice dinner, but the service was negligent; we had to find our water and fill our own glasses. The menu had spelling mistakes and the food was all bland. For the cost, know the only redeeming factor is the view.

We had dinner, lobster and my husband had pasta … lovely. Certainly can’t beat the views! Can’t rant and rave about the food or service … but certainly worth a visit if you’re staying at the resort or nearby!

Food was excellent. Had the halibut. They seem to be short staffed, service was a bit slow due to that. Ambience is a bit sterile. Dining room needs renovation. This could be quite fabulous if the dining room were spruced up and service on-pointe. Food excellent. Worth the visit.

Overall it was great. However our server dropped a champagne flute, it broke into small pieces directly under our table. However, one of the pieces hit my mom’s bare foot and scraped her. The server didn’t really apologise, but rather said “I’ve been here since 6am—it’s been a long day”. Not something, one wants to hear at a fine dining establishment. Overall, it was terrific….food was delicious and you couldn’t get a better view.

Sat by the 18th green. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent view of golfers finishing. Unfortunately we had a large noisy table seated next to us half way through.

Excellent food, stellar service, nice views. Overall experience was marred by their dreadful music selection. While I appreciate Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” and “S-xual Healing” in other contexts and occasions - playing it in a restaurant with families celebrating events and tables with small children felt rather inappropriate and better suited for a dive bar.

The food was terrific. Service: very responsive. By the way: I also had breakfast there the following morning. Not only was the service excellent, the omelette was absolutely perfect as were the crispy hush browns.

Our food was accidentally delivered to another table. I am sure the other table did not pay for it although they did eat it. We, on the other hand waited for awhile and paid in full. The manager let us know about the mistake. We received one free beverage for our anniversary. When the food came out my halibut was VERY over cooked. To the point that I was asking my husband for some sauce so I could eat it. His meal of seafood pasta was good. The wine menu is extremely over priced. I know wine can be a little more expensive in Nova Scotia but charging over $100 for a subpar red blend like Dark Horse ($8.99) in Minnesota and $1600 for California red blend that costs less than $50 seems very extreme. The server was nice and the view was beautiful. I would not recommend it for the cost and will not return in future visits.

Lovely restaurant, spectacular view over the links course and ocean. Fun watching golfers and caddies coming up the 18th. Only reason i did not give this a five star, was our haddock was slightly overcooked, and therefore dry. Beautiful oysters on a half shell to start , caesar salad , followed by delicious desert. Have been to this restaurant before and will return again.

We arrived at 7:15, and the meal came at 8:30! We didn't care for the waitress: we felt ignored. The food was only OK. The salad and pasta wer subpar. Dessert was tasteless. Even though the drinks and dessert were on the house because the food was so late, we were not impressed. This was supposed to be a top restaurant. Never again!

Fantastic food with amazing service. I had the pork belly with confit potato and it was delicious. My parents had the halibut and gave excellent reviews as well. The staff are very accommodating and it’s hard to beat the view. Can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I enjoyed our meal and the hospitality at Panorama. The haddock was very good. Service and atmosphere were very nice and got so see golfers finishing their round on the 18th green. Thanks.

I’m writing this review in the midst of gnarly times, rob … I’m calling you out directly , my boys told me what u said about us after the dinner and I’m not gonna lie it got me stoked.. it felt nice to know that our presence was not only welcomed.. but enjoyed. The food was terrific and the drinks kept coming. Prices weren’t too bad and since I became treasurer of my fraternity I learned that a solid budge and good time go hand and hand so I was able to keep the spending low. All an all the atmosphere in there was unreal, felt like I was watching the masters live as me and my boy Boomer Kingsley nervously watched golfers putt while we threw down some serious cheddar on if they’d get it in our not by the end of it I even took home 15 dollars off the friendly bets alone, great night we’ll be back soon …. And rob , have some mojitos waiting for me bro. Preciate it

We had the most wonderful dining experience here in a long time. The view is extraordinary, the service was impeccable and congenial and the food was masterfully prepared and presented from start to finish. We felt incredibly well taken care of and send kudos to the chef and his team.

Are group had nothing but good things to say about our experience at the Panorama. Our server was very accomidating and knowledgable. The food was the perfect size portion and excellent taste at a reasonable price. Great selection of wines and food for the area. Just a great experience overall, I would recommend this to everyone.

My husband and I have been to Panorama several times when we have visited Cabot. We are always happy with the food and service. It can get to be a little noisy sometimes but that is to be expected when there are often large groups dining together after golf. Can’t wait to return!

I found the Panorama very disappointing. Although the view is spectacular, the food was not what I had hoped for at all. My husband order the halibut which he said was okay but a bit dry. I ordered a seafood pasta dish. It was good but a bit over salted for my taste. The dish had an adequate amount of seafood. There were a couple of clams, three shrimp and three mussels. The mussels were the disappointment. I couldn't believe that one wasn't opened. It wasn't like I had ordered a pound or two. There were only three. It seems to me that plating takes precedence over taste so how could you miss that? It wasn't as if the restaurant was busy. There were only people at 4 tables and two of the tables were already eating when we arrived. I mentioned it to the waiter who said "I'll tell the chef." The hostess was delightful. She was friendly and helpful. The waiter was alright, but was clearly more interested in chatting golf to one of the other diners. While the view is amazing, the food, especially for the price, is less than stellar.
