   We really enjoyed the food that was super tasty but unfortunately we were overcharged 18% for a group over six people even though we were five and when I asked the waitress about it, she pretended that she didn’t know. It felt like somebody was trying to cheat. It’s not nice!

   This is a very nice place, exquisite food and wine selection, which I highly recommend. However every time we're there, the main course comes out long before we have finished our appetizers. We also get our wine glasses refilled automatically, something I find annoying. So going forward, please synchronize your kitchen with what goes on at our the table and please ask if we would like to have our glasses refilled. This seems like two things easy to fix for an otherwise perfect place. PS! We will definitely be back!! KL

   Great evening outside. Their heaters are the perfect temp. Love the gluten free options. The staff was kind, courteous and helped us select the best wine for the table. It’s my go to on the uws for gluten free Italian

   They were very patient as I had to wait for a friend for 30 minutes; I was able to eat bread & butter and have a drink in the meantime. Loved the penne with tomato sauce. Servers were pleasant.

   We ate inside this cozy, well designed restaurant for lunch. It wasn’t crowded and the tables were spaced nicely. Best of lol was the service and the food. My pasta was cooked to perfection, as was the eggplant parmigiana which was soft and sweet. We will definitely return to try out other dishes. It’s so convenient to go here after a trip to The NY Historical society, or the Museum of Natural History.

    As always, an amazing dinner with friends. Service is amazing, food is so good. Had the soup of the day and the dessert of the day and they were both great. Great for an everyday meal and a special occasion.

    The food is generally good-just don't order the veal-it's dry and tough. Can be very noisy. Best to sit in their attached shed.

    Had dinner here 29 years ago on the day I met my husband. First time back and pleased to report the food was amazing. Service excellent. Lamb chops were unbelievable.

    My daughter has gluten and lactose intolerances and this was the perfect place for her! They have a full GF menu with an amazing selection. The pasta was delicious. We needed to find a place for her to have a pre-race meal before her 2 mile indoor track national meet. This was a great find for her! The staff was helpful in assisting us in making a meal selection. The portions were perfect sized. Service was quick but not pressured. Would definitely eat here again

    We were on our way for a show at the Beacon Theater and wanted a restaurant that took reservations, was in the area & good food. All of our boxes were checked! We had the Bolognese and it was one of the best we ever had! I highly recommend Pappardella.

    Food was effing delicious and my wife was in love with the handsome waiter that was born in Spain but raised in the US. Only thing that could have been better for her was if he was shirtless. I had Salmon Tartare and Caci & Pepi.... Awesome. My wife was mad that she had to dump her leftover pasta when we went into the Beacon Theater. I mean legit mad cause the food was good. I would definitely recommend and will be back sooner rather than later

    Have been coming to Pappardella for over 15 years and ALWAYS a great experience. I don’t live in the neighborhood but my daughter did and that’s when I found the place … I always bring friends and always recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to dine in Manhattan

    Was great but new management is poor. Service is very slow and staff is unfriendly. Tables are so crammed next to each other in order to get more people served, but in the end, since service is so slow and atmosphere is negative, they are going to lose customers. We have been going for years, but not anymore. The new guy and woman at the front door who run the place need to go. This was a neighborhood favorite and they are bad for the neighborhood.

    This was honestly the best food I've had in so long. As someone with celiac and other food allergies, I could safely eat here without worrying about getting sick. I had such a great variety of choices on the GF menu to choose from. So so SO good & I recommend this place to anyone in the area.
