“We grew up in a home where sesame butter (tahini) was consumed regularly alongside flavourful Mediterranean cuisine. Parallel was born from our history and love for sesame butter. It’s part of our culture and upbringing, and we want to share that with you.
There are few ingredients that are as versatile, nutritious, and just as damn tasty as sesame butter. That’s why we decided to make it in all its forms: try it in our dressings, salads, dips, bowls, and our famous homemade halva, and seed what is possible.
The three of us share a passion for simple meals with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and innovative techniques. That, along with our love for good coffee, art, music, and community, is what shapes the Parallel experience.”

The service was absolutely apathetic. The waitress could not care less, uninterested and frankly annoyed to be working. Food was ok but coloured by how bad the service was. Will not be back.

Food is spectacular! Definitely get the hummus and falafel! The service was amazing - we loved our server! The host wasn’t as good and had a bit of an attitude whenever we asked her for anything!

The shashuka (with sausage) was WILDLY delicious! My wife had falafels and tabbouleh salad, both EXCELLENT. The falafels were outstanding - super crispy and a beautiful green inside from herbs. Can’t wait to go back! No idea what Mr. NY is talking about, the service was great and the people all seem to love working there.

I would go to this place again but my guests would not… few points regarding our brunch today: Service: overall good but server brought the wrong salad/parallel salad even though we ordered tabouli. Nobody among us liked Parallel salad…too lemony and heavily flavoured with cilantro and mint which gave all ingredients in the salad the same taste. Pita bread…. Soft and fluffy… tastes doughy… Dips: we had 4 … portions are really small… I tried lemon pesto and hummus and those were really tasty. My vegan mushroom mix on Crispy Za’atar pita was so freaking delicious …. I highly recommend this dish. My friends had Baharat beef and fried egg to which comment was: to heavy and Shaksshuka with sausages was liked very much by my daughter who also loved her matcha latte. I bought Parrallel’s in store made chocolate coffee and tahini cookies and almond halva and I can’t decide which I like better, so I will definitely be back for those. The whole ambiance of the place is just lovely. I suggest you check it out.

We had a really great Sunday brunch at the restaurant. We ordered 4 dishes for share for 4 of us. Presentation and taste were excellent. Service is 5 stars. Humus and falafel I think are best in town. We are planning to come back for dinner in the near future.

Loved their falafels and their shakshuka. The portions were good and we got 3 mains and a side to share amongst 4 people. Parking can be tricky to find. They also have a heated patio so we will try to secure that next time we are back!

Hands down the best Lebanese food I've ever had. They deliver on both an elevated quality and large quantity (I've never been so full and satisfied - lots of food left over for take out, everything so delicious). Very friendly and helpful service and a very unique ambience to cap it all off. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone!

I've been coming to Parallel since it opened for the years. I never had one disappointment. Their signature Parallel salad, herbs-flavoured falafels, and 4-flavoured hummus were always delightful each time!!! They called me on my phone when they realized I was overcharged a few minutes after I left. So I went back and they returned the amount difference. What a generous and delicious restaurant they are. All of my out-of-town or overseas friends were amazed by all their individual experiences. Anyone who has never tried must do so!!! Thank you Parallel for your dedication to providing good food and experience all these years!!!

Unbelievable service AND food here. Had an amazing dinner with my wife and son on her birthday last night. Service was top notch. Food was out of this world, and honestly the management (Leon specifically) was extremely attentive and friendly. I will suggest this restaurant to friends and family 100% and we will be back.
