   I was disappointed that there was only 1 vegan brunch option. I asked the server if the shakshuka could be made with tofu instead of eggs and was declined. The stand out was the tahini and the falafel, truly memorable and delicious. Ambiance was on the louder side. Service was utilitarian. Will definitely get the falafel via take out tho!

   The food was great with great recommendations from the staff. We shared the Mezze platter, Falafels, Parallel Salad and desserts - it was enough to feed 4. The Parallel Salad is fantastic. Will Uber Eats this dish by itself as it was so tasty. For dessert, we had the chocolate / tahini bubka and a rhubarb pie. I’d highly recommend the bubka!

   The falafel tastes fresh with a hint of pesto, absolutely a must-have! Loved the dips 😍😍😍😍I will surly order them again… Shakshuka was just fine, too much tomato paste. Good fresh coffee 😋

   Lovely place, great relaxing atmosphere. The food is Great, I just wish they had “shawarma sandwich” as a dinner option and not just hummus with chicken on top.

    We highly recommend the falafels! I am usually not a fan of falafels but they were really delicious and well cooked. We really liked the tabouli salad - we were debating on the parallel salad but a bunch of us are not fans of goat cheese. The tabouli salad was so flavourful and refreshing. We also recommend the Meze - we tried the hummus, babaganoush (which was my favourite), tsatziki, and the sun dried tomato tapenade. We also tried a brunch menu item - the shakshuka with lamb and beef kofta. The shakshuka was flavourful as well but probably our least favourite dish that we tried.

    I have been to Parallel many times before over the years. Every time I brought my friends to try has never had any disappointments. Same for this time. Especially I ordered the daily special of Seabream whole fish with Morocco stew was exceptionally delicious. It comes with warmly heated bread to dip into the stew that was just appropriated. I also ordered my staple of Parallel salad and falafels every time. We all couldn't stop digging in without talking much! :-) The servers were just as friendly and the patio was warm enough to feel very comfortable in the winter. For sure will come back again!

    We tried the parallel salad, mushroom mix on crispy za’atar pita, lamb shank with polenta fries, and a lemon pistachio tart because I never leave a place without trying a dessert🙄 I’d say I was more impressed with the food rather than the drinks. My ultimate highlights of the evening were the salad – the mix of ingredients is so interesting and complementing, and I loved the flair of mint and beet sesame butter that made it taste very refreshing and light. And the lamb was soft and juicy. Most of all I liked polenta fries though. Both these dishes intrigued me with their thoroughly considered mix of ingredients. And I really enjoyed the other dish as well as the dessert and overall I’d say this place has an interesting perspective and modern twist on Mediterranean cuisine. We were sitting at the corner of the counter which made the atmosphere more intimate and enjoyable. The service was alright though as I guess our server kept forgetting about us because of our seats. The restaurant takes place in the same factory building where they produce their mezes and other products, so it looks and feels contemporary and simple. I loved the interior and atmosphere, and they have a nice heated patio. 8/10 – and I’d definitely come back again to try something else like their dips and seabream!

    We had terrible wait staff service on Feb 10th. The food took over an hour to come and the waitress could not explain the reason why. When it did come, it was cold. My first experience there was exceptional, but this one has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Not sure I will ever return based on this last experience. Very inexperienced wait staff and management.

    You can always count on their hummus being amazing. The salad with goat cheese was also great, and also a huge portion. Disappointed by the risotto (strange flavor profile) and falafels as they were quite salty and tasted a bit burnt. Don’t get me wrong—the falafels are fresh but couldn’t finish them due to the taste, which was a bummer. Would come back for the hummus and to give the falafels another chance!

    This restaurant is tucked away in an area of Toronto that tourists may not know about. I was recommended to go by a friend and it was worth the visit. The food is authentically lebanese/middle eastern with lots of healthy options. It's fun to watch the food being made at the bar area, and there is a huge heated patio for large tables. We had so much fun visiting - be sure to bring an extra carry bag for the amazing sauces, pitas (the best pita I have ever had - even after flying back to Vancouver the next day it was fresh and doughy), tahini's and spice mixtures.

    I found it very uncomfortable sitting in the outside area Either too hot because of the heaters or drafts and cold! Left with frozen legs and feet

    Great food as always, especially the Parallel salad and the dips/pita. Our server was really great at first and then we went 45 minutes without any check-in. We wanted to order more pita for the dips and lamb shank gravy but didn’t get an opportunity.

    We have been ordering from Parallel from Uber eats and loved it so we wanted to try it fresh from the restaurant. To our disappointment we do not know why but we got a cold lamb shank. Things happen but the restaurant was not busy. It was cold and the sauce was congealed. I notified the waitress she promptly returned it to the kitchen. I thought they re-fire the meal but they reheated I believe in the microwave. It came out tough and stringy. They compt 50% of the dish but my wife ate her meal alone really offsetting the experience. For the price point this is not worth it. I recommend Azhar Kitchen for the same price point but much higher level service, food prep, and care.

    My daughters took to Parallel for dinner last night and I loved it all. Food was delicious. We shared a bunch of stuff. So fun! Nice wine list and the service was exceptional. What a cool place! Will definitely be going back soon!

    Went to Parallel for the first time with a group of friends. The food was fantastic! We ordered the both salads, falafel and the mezze platter to share. Super filling, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back to try more!
