   We had a fantastic time! Apps and entrees are phenomenal. Drinks were great. Dessert was the only part that was only so so. Waiter was friendly and helpful and food came fairly quickly.

   We had an enjoyable evening at Parc de Ville. The service was friendly but not intrusive. The food was outstanding, including the goat cheese appetizer, potato-crusted salmon, and bistro burger. The "on-tap" wine was delicious as well. We were served a complimentary sorbet with a birthday candle for our special occasion. Parking is easy and the restaurant is only a block from Angelika movie theater, where we went afterward. Would recommend and return again.

   Overall a good experience, nice food, nice atmosphere, but I might not rush back. I think we had a miscommunication with our server about ordering entrees? He was very helpful with appetizers and drinks, but when he first asked if we were ready to order entrees I said I was torn between 4 different ones/ hadn't made up my mind yet and I think he maybe heard something like, we weren't planning to order again, so he gave us a lot of space and didn't come back to take any additional orders. At first we thought he was just busy but after 20ish minutes without contact, eventually my friend said even if we did order, by the time the food came it would be too late in the evening for him to want to eat more, so we flagged him down and just asked for the check. Kind of a disappointing end to what was otherwise a really lovely night, but again, hopefully just a miscommunication. The DMV just saw the opening of like 5 new French restaurants so, again, I don't know that I'd rush back to this one.

    The 5 of us at dinner shared a variety of appetizers (5), entrees (4), and desserts (2) - all were winners. Reasonably priced wines and good cocktails. Very nice space.

    What a pleasant surprise! We went to this restaurant when it first opened some years ago and it was ok, but nothing to write home about. Now the menu is creative and the wine/cocktail list has wonderful variety, for even the pickiest people like me. It's not so much a traditional French restaurant, but more Americanized-French food. Nevertheless, the food was excellent. We started with 2 chartreuse daquiris (jfgi) that were spot on. CRAFTY! Perfect Cesar salad(dressing on the side for me). An entree order of Steak Frites consists of a perfectly cooked, juicy boneless NY strip instead of a traditional, thin cut boneless ribeye "entrecôte" like you would have in Paris, or even a hanger steak like you would have at Le Diplomat downtown DC. It is served with a flawless béarnaise sauce, instead of a traditional steak frites green herb/butter sauce. The french fries are size/shape like McDonald's, cooked to a delectable crispy brown. Entree of the Moules Frites (steamed mussels and fries) was a SHOWSTOPPER. I've not had this type of broth EVER in all my travels. Cream based with white wine, dijon, herbes de Provence, lemon - IDK what else - but so delicious. Big portion - not the typical appetizer size. Dessert was a lovely hazelnut pot au crème topped with crushed chocolate cookie and crushed hazelnuts--served in an old fashioned tall ice cream sundae glass! Complimentary birthday scoop of aperol-raspberry sorbet was like an aperitif - really lovely ending to a fantastic meal. I cannot forget to compliment the service! Friendly, attentive (but not annoying) and easy going. We all know service will make or break a restaurant - and this team makes Parc de Ville.

    Sea bass was disappointing. Very small portion, overcooked and sauce was over powering. Pate appetizer was nice, good portion size. Overall not worth the money.

    I took my mom to Parc de Ville for her birthday and was very pleased with our experience. They have live jazz playing until 7pm on Wednesdays. Had I known I would have booked an earlier reservation. Our waiter, Francis, was amazing. He was very knowledgable about the dishes and answered all our questions. He also had great energy when interacting with us. My mom got the butternut squash soup and the salmon for her entree. I got the beet hors d'oeuvre and duck confit for my entree. The beet dish was better than I expected and was a good size. The duck was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The potatoes that came with it were almost burnt but I still enjoyed it overall. This was my second time and I'll be back.

    Went here with a couple friends and it was everyone’s first time. The restaurant wasn’t completely full but had some tables empty, which made me think “why does the reservation book up so much if there are a lot of tables available?” We sat down and this is when I first noticed that the service was going to be an issue. It took a while for someone to greet us after being seated. The theme kind of carried on and the service was generally poor and slow. Maybe they were understaffed? Not sure. The food was good. Cocktails were good.

    Our server was the only thing that wasn’t absolutely wonderful at brunch. Unfortunately he had way too many tables and wasn’t very good at managing how busy he was. He was so friendly and nice but not attentive at all. The second glass of wine I ordered arrived AFTER I finished my breakfast and I didn’t even want it anymore, but he poured it and charged us anyway. I will try again, but sit at the bar next time.

    One of metro DC’s most outstanding restaurants! Great food, fabulous classic and craft cocktails, passionate staff who work hard to ensure a top notch experience!! Great energy in a bustling environment. We shared lots of dishes and every one was super tasty, plentiful, and well prepared with top quality ingredients. From presentation to taste, it was a great meal. Plus we had a happy occasion to celebrate and the restaurant team made sure our evening was special. Can’t wait to return! Worth a trip to the suburbs if you’re a foodie who lives in the city, and saves suburbanites a drive into DC to enjoy one of the areas best meals!

    This restaurant was great. We really enjoyed it. The staff was exceptional, from the front desk team to the wait staff. The owner/manager appeared involved and engaged in running the establishment and she went to each table to make sure everyone was happy. The appetizers were excellent. We had the Mushroom Tartine and the Chef's Trio of Fine Cheeses. Both were fantastic. For the entree, we had the Steak-Frites and Daube de Boeuf. Both were excellent but I would give the edge to the Daube de Bouef. Dessert was more of a mixed bag. We had a apple tort-sort of thing (the name escapes me) that was really quite good but could have had more of an apple flavor for my liking. We also got the Chocolate Hazelnut Pots de Creme which looked fantastic but was kind of tasteless (despite all that chocolate). I'd definitely return here (and plan to) and would recommend it.

    Not sure why we don't head there much more often. Both entrees outstanding, service attentive but not overbearing, visually attractive space,, outstanding craft cocktails. Most likely good for date night, gathering of friends. The evening was an excellent reminder to head there more often.
