I absolutely love this place! Was taken here for my birthday several years ago and we recently returned for a friend's birthday celebration. The vibe is warm, friendly and upscale without being snooty or pretentious. My friend was not feeling the ono fish special, but when the manager stopped by to see how we were doing, he quickly and graciously allowed her to replace it - she ordered the scallops instead (which were AWESOME). I'd return in a heart beat.

We're from out of town and were looking for a nice restaurant away from the Disneyland crowd. We're happy we chose Park Ave as the service and food were wonderful. It was a really enjoyable experience.

I was celebrating Valentine’s Day with my date. I understood that it was busy and tough for the staff. Our waiter made us feel very rush yet he would rarely check on us. He was not genuine. Service was fair but close to poor. Something that stood out was while eating our dinner, one of the busboys came and refilled our waters. I handed him my cup and my dates. He placed my cup in front of me and reached over the plates to place my dates cup on the table. He broke the plate on accident and spilled water all over the table and onto my pants and jacket. I understood that was an accident and he proceeded to wipe it. Broken glass everywhere. I still had dinner on my plate which I was worried that glass had gotten in there. Half of my steak was ruined. I also sat on a piece of glass. All this but yet we did not received any concern from the staff. The food was overpriced and lacked flavor. The staffed was a let down that day. I’m sorry to say but we did not have a good experience.

The food was okay. Service was horrific. Our waitress knew nothing about wine and we were brought someone else’s food. Desert options were awful. I will not be going back there! Only thing that was good was the wine but it should be for the price, and I can get good wine at most restaurants. Not a happy customer!

It was for Valentine’s Day dinner my only complaint is the food had barely any flavor in my steak I need to be honest with you they could’ve put some pepper on it and it would’ve probably gave it some flavor but it had none and my date Salmon was cold when it came out I understand it was Valentine’s Day so I’ll give it a try one more time but I was expecting a lot more I was a little disappointed

Went there for lunch and ate on the patio. Nice warm day and the out door area is relaxing. Service by our waitress and staff was excellent. Although we were outside, she frequently stopped by to ask if needed any thing. It is a special place to eat that values good food plus knows how to provide an atmosphere peacefulness

Great food, amazing service, Chef/owner checking in with all the tables to make sure all was great. Cant stop talking about the amazing staff. If I had one sort of negative comment - drinks priced like other similar establishments, but alcohol was very light. One drink caught a slight taste of the vodka, the other no sign of vodka at all. But all in all - amazing meal, great service and the very best companion I could ever ask for, my wife...

Two nights in a row to validate first impressions. We were not disappointed. Excellent food and service. Classic steak house without the pretense. Next time in Anaheim, we’ll definitely have dinner at Park Ave.

Excellent experience. Classic steak house with some interesting twists on entrees. Martinis were very good with hand stuffed blue cheese olives. Delicious squash blossoms and shrimp cocktail to start. Classic Caesar salad and fall off the bone pork shoulder. Indulged with a sundae for dessert. Very attentive waiter. All in all, a top notch experience. Will definitely recommend and come back.

The service was friendly and helpful. The ambiance and decor were formal enough for a special occasion, but comfortable. The Crispy Greens appetizers were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We enjoyed our complementary special occasion dessert and our walk around the herb and veggie garden. Would like to return soon.

Finally got to the Park Ave Restaurant! We took advantage of the January Burger deal for lunch. Everything was brilliant! The ambiance, the service and the food. Chef David Slay made the rounds greeting diners and asking if we enjoyed our food. Love the fact that only the freshest, highest quality ingredients are used. Love the classic old style decor. We look forward to dining there again. It is just makes eating special.

Historically -- We LOVE Park Ave. - but our recent lunch experience did not meet their usual standards for great service & good atmosphere. {90% of our meals have been dinner} We took senior friends, and when making our 12:30 lunch reservation, I had explained we'd prefer a "quiet area, due to two in our group who struggle with good hearing." (Thinking they would find a table away from the main dining area if they were busy) As this OpenTable review option only offered "Energetic" as a choice -- I can elaborate by saying, LOUD - HARD to hear our conversation, and I DO NOT have poor hearing. Our server that day was evidently not in a good mood either, and out of a 1.5 hr. visit, we counted two smiles! We are a friendly set of four long time friends - but she did not share our positive attitudes - and was not particularly courteous other than to one of the elder men - who she must have thought might leave her a tip. NOT, he was not paying the bill, nor did she get more than the most minimal of tips. It will be awhile until we return -- even for dinner. The meal itself was well prepared as usual, and the "special menu" we from where chose to select our meals, made the visit worth it, regardless of the less that typical service, and higher noise level. (did they change carpets or ???)

Food is expensive, but the quality and service is wonderful. So if you are wanting a special dinner, and are prepared for the prices, you'll have a very enjoyable time and experience. I celebrate here with my neighbors every year just after New Year's, so it's an annual tradition now that hasn't disappointed.
