   Would go if you want a snack or drink on a patio. Tuna app was good, cocktails/mocktaiks good although they came at different times and were very slow, mains (fish and chips, brisket) were fine but have had better. Crème brûlée was good but it was a surprise that it was not described as strawberry on the menu, banana rum bread pudding ok, trifle was disliked by a child. While staff were very friendly, the worst offence was the very slow staggered service e.g., getting desserts many minutes before coffee; whisky as my after-dinner treat came after everyone had long finished their desserts/coffee and when we had already told them never mind (it was that long). Dishes and cocktails were very pretty. Overall: ok for a stopover but not recommended for a full meal.

   Sumptuous food perfectly matched with delightful service. Volume can be a concern for folks who are hard of hearing but we made do. Can't get enough of their clam chowder. Table guests raved about the beef brisket and pan seared fish. Opted out of booze and was delighted by their kombucha — a fizzy, light as spring (and not too tangy) delight.

    The restaurant is beautifully set up and decorated. The food was very good and the service excellent. The noise level of the music was problematic for one of our party. There was no coffee available which was a disappointment

    We always love the food here and the cocktails were next level amazing! That said we were seated at 7pm and didn't get our mains until 9pm because of a larger group seated ahead of us so it's worth inquiring about the timing when booking a table.

    Very poor service. Staff members rarely came to the table, it was extremely challenging to get anyone’s attention. Can’t speak for the food, cocktails were pretty unimaginative, but completely fine. Hopefully it was an off night, because this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had.

    One of the better preparation of duck confit that we have had in Ottawa. Nice crispy skin and tender, flavourful meat. The beef brisket, on the other hand, is a bit bland. While juicy and tender, it was missing the oomph of other BBQ or smoked brisket that we prefer. Cocktails were very innovative and delicious. Opium Sesame was exquisite.

    We have eaten here many times, from the outdoor tent during COVID, to the relaxed yet classy restaurant it is today. Wonderful staff, wonderful food. Friday is fish and chips night which is amazing. We shared with a friend who will continue to come back.

    Parlour should be your go to for a delicious meal with a super fun atmosphere! I went with 3 friends and had a great time - we loved our cocktails, had a cool bottle of wine & really yummy food. We had the Gruyère & celeriac dip to start, and the pan seared fish, mushroom tart, beef brisket sandwich & fried chicken sandwich for main - all were outstanding. Our server, Caroline, was so welcoming & professional and gave us great recommendations. Parlour is a can’t miss spot!

    This was a disappointing meal all around. The food was average and the service was slow and disorganized. Two main complaints: We ordered two starters - one arrived before our meal and the other arrived AFTER we had finished eating our mains. My cassoulet was barely even warm and completely bland. In retrospect i should have returned it to the kitchen. Will not return.

    Such a great spot , very aesthetic! The service was amazing, and they served was super kind. Food was also incredible. Highly recommend for a date night or just a fun night out with some friends. It’s a change from a typical restaurant , or feels more like a lounge vibe.

    I will give the food a 4/5 but the servers and all staffs are very great. Customer service 15/10. The place is very beautiful as well, nice for a date or birthday dinner. I’m definitely getting my next birthday dinner there. I most definitely recommend it. Thank you guys!!!

    really a great evening. i had colleagues in from all around the world and its hard to impress them but the next day they are still raving about it. it was quirky, unique and different than the norm. we loved it, it is certainly on our rotation for future dinners.

    This was the best resto experience I have ever had in Ottawa, and probably in Ontario. It is worth every penny for the service and the quality of food. Drinks were perfection, the staff was the perfect level of attentive but not overinvolved, the soup was honestly beautiful, simple, but so complex in its levels of flavor, the brisket was literally meat butter. If you have ever been to the Moon Room and enjoyed it but wanted more of a restaurant vibe, you will love Parlour.
