   This was the best resto experience I have ever had in Ottawa, and probably in Ontario. It is worth every penny for the service and the quality of food. Drinks were perfection, the staff was the perfect level of attentive but not overinvolved, the soup was honestly beautiful, simple, but so complex in its levels of flavor, the brisket was literally meat butter. If you have ever been to the Moon Room and enjoyed it but wanted more of a restaurant vibe, you will love Parlour.

   Great space with tables widely placed in a room with high ceilings The celeriac gruyere dip was delicious with lots of crispy veg. The squash soup also very goood. I had the duck confit and it was perfectly crispy snd well seasoned. Chose the Veltliner white to go with it and it was perfect.

    Noise level energetic? Ok, I get your perspective. But we would say it was very loud due to the Tequila event in the next room. We felt we were missing a party rather than having our own get-together. Next time I would check to see if there was a similar, simultaneous event going on, and would not come in that case. I am thrilled to see people enjoying their evening, but not at expense of mine. I see you are trying to combine 2 styles of resto/event space, but it was less successful in our view. The service was friendly, charming, patient, attentive, and very efficient. Our server knew we were going to the GCTC and had a time constraint. She gave great advice on wine and food pairings. The food was excellent - 2 cassoulets, one braised beef, and 1 fish -except the fish was cold. The diner did not mention it to our server. We would go again, although not while a big party is on as mentioned above. I also appreciate not being charged the $45 fee for a cancelled diner. we would have paid it no problem, but in fact the prospect of a fee would suggest to me that winter is not a good time to book since roads can be iffy. We did notify you and perhaps that was why you took pity! Thanks again and best of luck.

    Overall it was very good. Only real negative comment is the floor. Since it’s all tile in the front portion, there needs to be some carpets scattered around, maybe under each table and down the middle to soften the feel and the noise. It could go a long way in improving the atmosphere. Other than that, love the decor and sitting in the white painted environment is a refreshing change from the usual cozy dark dinning styles. The tequila cocktail was amazing! Will be back for that for sure! Thanks!

    I love this space Indoors the tables are spaced out. Outdoors the readily available heaters keep you comfortable. The food is high quality and reasonably priced. Service is always friendly. There is nothing not to like!

    Not as good as the first time (outside on the patio in the summer with a DJ) but still a very good meal and experience. The entrees were served quickly but the main courses took quite long to arrive - and one was almost cold. The music was not as good as the DJ on the patio. Despite a few concerns, I would still go back.

    The food is exquisite, the space is lovely and the service attentive. But the level of noise from a Halloween event on a Saturday night was unbearable. We couldn't carry on a conversation. Wish we'd known about the event at the time of making reservations.

    Amazing service, amazing ambiance, amazing cocktails, however the food was lacking. The portions were a bit tiny for the price, very very tasty but small. Overall it is a wonderful place to dine!

    We love Parlour. The staff are knowledgable, friendly, and efficient. The food is excellent - every bite is a delight. If we had a Parlour punch card it would be full as we go whenever we can. This place cares about where and who it sources its ingredients and wines from, and takes care of its neighbourhood. Eat here. You won't be disappointed.

    Mixed. The deviled eggs, cocktails, duck leg confit main dish were very good. Unfortunately I was 1/2way thru my main before the sommelier made it to our table to suggest a wine - the recommendation was very good. My husband's fish and chips were underwhelming. The fish piece was large but the fries had lots of overcooked crispy end pieces. A decaf cappuccino was unavailable because the frothing device had an issue. Very larger interesting space but very noisy.

    Been meaning to try Parlour for a while now. Overall great experience! The cocktails were interesting, the food was delicious and the service staff was on point. • How cute are those pink deviled eggs? A perfect bite of chicken meets the egg. The beef brisket was melting in our mouths and the chicken sandwich was the perfect combination of crunch, sweet and spicy. • We will definitely be back.
