All of our sauces are made in house and inspired by traditional family recipes. It's easy to see how quality ingredients results in a better end product.
We would be happy to guide you through our menu, pour you a cold Peroni, and maybe even help you plan your next meal with ingredients from our market.
My reservation was confirmed and I visited on Saturday evening, but they were closed. On the door, it said they are open from 11AM-11PM on Saturday. What a disappointment.
Restaurant is closed - we made a reservation and discovered that it is no longer in operation
We arrived at Parm only to find it locked up and closed! It would have been nice to have a phone call so we weren’t left scrambling trying to find a place
The restaurant was closed when we arrived for our reservation.
The restaurant was really busy with a birthday party being thrown in the bar area. Noise level was very high. They had ran out of wine and bread. In an Italian restaurant?
All the waitresses were busy with said party but the hostess waited on us and even accomplished a special order for my husband. Kudos!!
By the time we got our food the kitchen had managed to restock its bread supply, so we at least had bread with our pasta. The management came and apologized for the loud party of young people. In the end the meal was very enjoyable and delicious! Would definitely eat here if ever back in Calgary.
Recent reviews are not accurate . Caesar salad had no flavor leaves with a touch of dressing. Pizza has very little topping. Furniture is old it appears they are struggling will not return.
excellent find in the beltline close to the core, authentic italian food
Service attentionné. Excellents fettuccini Alfredo et risotto
Did not love this place, the bruschetta was bad because the crostini was hard and old. They didn’t have options for noodles that I liked, which isn’t their fault. Flavour wise, it was fine, not great: there was nobody in there but us. Which makes it less enjoyable
Wasn't aware that you had to call at least 3hrs in advance for gluten free crust - my friend had to make-do with regular crust (not ideal).
Food was pretty good. Server was friendly but not very experienced maybe? Never cleared anything from our table, never checked on how we were enjoying the food. Had to flag him down for everything. Place wasn’t that busy.
The place was dirty. Flys everywhere. Calamari was greasy and sub par. It took 45 minutes to get our pizza and there was only 3 other tables dining in the restaurant. 45 min! and The pizza was burnt! I would not recommend this place to anyone...especially if they only had an hour for lunch.
Looks like they are just about to go broke, it was empty, menu has black felt crossing off items. One server for the whole place.
My girlfriends and I like to get together every few months for dinner and try out new places in the city. None of us had been to Parm before and weren't totally sure what to expect.
Our server was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu. We chose the Kale Salad to start and it was amazing!! Then shared a pizza and pasta, along with a bottle of red wine. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed every bite!! The wine choices were limited, but we really enjoyed our bottle, and fairly priced. Especially on Thursday for their half price bottles!
The restaurant was quite empty, just us and another table, but we really felt like this place was a hidden gem!! Definitely worth a try for sure if your in the mood for a delicious Italian meal. The only thing I would suggest would be to make the decor a little more fun to try and get people into the door. It was authentic Italian which we didn't mind at all however would love to see that place really busy!
We would definitely go back.
Outstandung kale salad...pizza...gnocci!
Generic food. Over priced. Not a lot of value. The primary attraction was that it was not busy for a last minute reservation. Must be hard to compete with two penny Chinese and ten foot Henry
Food very good however chicken Parm sandwich and veal sandwich were not hot when served.
Prices very reasonable , would give it another try.
I wasn't overly impressed or really at all with this restaurant. The restaurant was completely empty, which triggered a red flag to me. I came here on a Monday based off of the Monday special that they had (10$ any pizza) according to their website at the time. When I arrived at the restaurant, I inquired about the special and it turns out that they had taken it off but not yet off their website.
Now if the food was outstanding, I absolutely would not mind. Price point about the same as Posto or Una, but pizza was mediocre. Considering we were the only people at the restaurant, service was good and server was attentive.
All in all, I don't think I will be returning.
The restaurant was not very busy however the service was not very attentive. Food was good. They did acknowledge the special occasion which was a great touch.
We met for a business dinner. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding (we all three had different pizzas and they were all good.) Will recommend Parm for a casual evening out for good food any time.
It was nice.
Great food, reasonable prices and good staff, also has good daily specials.
Food was amazing. Calamari a must. Service was good maybe too relaxed. Great value. Need to up the wine list. Will go back for a lunch with pizza.
I enjoyed the pizza but it wasn't the best I've had in the city. It was super quiet for a Friday evening. I think our server was quite new - it took a long time for her to come take our order. I would like to try it again and see if it's any better.
Looks like this is a re opened restaurant under a diffetent name . No wine list seems like they cant afford a stock of wine. Odd decor and overall exprrience.
The food is wonderful - so delicious! However, the service is a bit slow and I really hope they develop their wine list. For an Italian restaurant, having only one red and one white wine on hand is really a shame and a missed opportunity. I hope to return regardless, but I will be much more likely to recommend it to friends if the service and wine offering are improved.
We came here for #yycpizzaweek; the feature pizza was really good and the service was friendly and attentive. I would come back to try the rest of their menu.
We absolutely loved our dinner. The pizza was delicious, the carbonara was authentic (no cream), calamari was cooked to perfection.
The only negative for us was the lack of service. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or overwhelmed prior to our reservation time. Our pasta arrived at the same time as our appetizers and we had to remind them about the pizza we ordered after all our other meals had been eaten and cleared away.
The food is definitely worth the visit. Just plan for a slower dining time.
the food took a while to make it out, but it was worth the wait. If you orer the lasagna be prepared to enjoy your wine first :)
It was a great meal with the family. Between us, we had pizza, veal, and a salad and everything tasted great. We met the owner, Charles (as I recall), and he was very nice to visit with. We are looking forward to getting back there.
Pizza was good, but service was terrible. Server was inattentive and didn't once check in with us. Our two meals were brought to the table at least 5 minutes apart. Maybe the pizza can only be made one at a time? Server was visibly annoyed when we asked about a dessert menu.
Appetizers and pizzas were good, but it seems they can only cook 2 pizzas at a time. We were 4 people with pizzas, so 2 of us had to wait quite a bit longer for our dinner than the others. That seems strange for a place with a fancy pizza oven. Service was very friendly
The dishes were excellent!
I have twice had the chicken parm, one of the restaurant's signature dishes. The first time, it was delicious; the second time, it was dry and overcooked. My companion had an unimpressive salad, and ordered some chicken to go with it, but it wasn't very delicious either. The restaurant is nicely laid out with a great ambiance, but there are many competing restaurants just steps away. Parm needs to up its game if it wants to stay in business. At minimum, ensure the food quality is consistently high, and add a couple of tasty, high end salads.
