Pasta da Pulcinella
all looking for a place to eat, drink, relax, and, on occasion, order one more bottle of Chianti.
Whether it’s a young couple or a group event, theatre patrons or traveling business persons, everyone basks in the romantic charm of our little yellow house hidden in the shadow of skyscrapers.
Great food and excellent deserts!
This restaurant offers an excellent, flavorful menu. The atmosphere is both romantic and vibrant. We have been several times over the last few years and it just keeps getting better! Highly recommend!
Everything was delicious!
This restaurant is a must visit! My second time eating there, and it didn't disappoint. Our antipasti, wine, food and dessert were all fabulous. Will definitely be back!
Magnificent. Simply lovely. This is my go-to business dinner restaurant and our adult son’s favorite date restaurant.
Wonderful food and service. They never disappoint!
We went to Pasta da Pulcinella for a double date night, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food, ambiance, service, everything was fabulous. Will absolutely be back!
Great food, great service, and enjoyable atmosphere.
We sat outside for date night and had a great time.
Excellent dining experience. Delicious food-everyone in our group of 5 got something different and everyone loved their choice! Waiter was very friendly and atmosphere was cozy.
Great restaurant with amazing and unique dishes! Enjoyed the chicken cannelloni - Italian crepes stuffed with chicken, spinach and ricotta topped with tomato basil sauce and a Gorgonzola mushroom sauce - amazing! We also had the pear and prosciutto with mixed greens and the asparagus with proscuitto and tomatoes. A must if you are visiting Atlanta!
When we go to an upscale place to dine we just do not like the T shirt crowd coming in with small children. Small children act up, make loud noises, and spoil the atmosphere for those of us dining for relaxation. Take your small children to Chuck E Cheese.
Also, this is repetition of my criticism of servers who clear the table before I have finished eating. Don't do that! It makes me feel rushed. I came to relax and enjoy the food and ambiance. Don't play your favorite music, either. It's NOT my favorite music. If it were my favorite music I would have come to hear it, not using it to raise my anxiety while I'm eating.
You know this place could be perfect. Soft unobtrusive music (if any), no young badly behaved children, and leave the dishes alone until I have stopped chewing and put down my utensil.
This was a highlight of our weekend in Atlanta. Great food, great wine, great service. A very intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Would highly reccomend.
The pasta dishes were flavorful and the beer and wine paired well.
In contrast, one dish was cool while one was very hot/ scorched The pears in the appetizer were not ripe and the bruschetta bread was stale.
I have eaten here more than 20 times. Always consistent and delicious. Excellent service!
Lao is always very pleasant and fun and is great about recommending the right food and wine.
We chose Pasta da Pulcinella because of its proximity to Atlanta Symphony Hall. I read several nice reviews and we decided to try it for our date night. The restaurant is relatively small and the tables are close together, but that didn't detract from the pleasant experience. We had excellent, attentive service and the food was very good. We will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant to our friends.
Awesome experience every time we go. Waiter was very friendly. Food is very good. Lively ambiance but not too loud.
Big fan of several of their pastas. Very much appreciate their engaging servers who are glad to patiently chat about the dishes and wine selections. They make you feel at home there. Will be going back soon.
Poor start, but finished strong. We reserved an outside table and were brought quickly to our table upon arrival. We then waited for 20 minutes before our waitress acknowledged our presence. She had no explanation for us. It was an odd and frustrating start.
Once she did show up, the evening went very nicely. The cocktails were delicious and creative. The wine selection was excellent and the menu had wonderful options. We will return. Our special occasion was celebrating buying a new home in Atlanta. This restaurant is walking distance from our new home and we look forward to returning!
Food and service were excellent! However, if you go at lunch time, allow ample time for parking. Parking was a major problem, but the staff was extremely helpful with suggestions and even offered complimentary dessert for our troubles. Very classy place! I'll return often!
Great food and drinks. Very flavorful and great sized portions. Exceeded expectations.
Service was amazing. The food was good, but not as great as I expected based on the reviews I read before going. Definitely a cute restaurant. Overall, it was a great experience.
We had a reservation and our table was not quite ready. Hostess and Manager apologized and gave us a complimentary round of drinks. Hannah our server was Amazing!!! Great Experience!!
Our experience couldn't have been better from the time we sat down to the time we left. We all ordered something different and tasted each other's. There wasn't a bad dish in the bunch. Everyone cleaned their plate and had a fantastic meal! Only problem was we had no room left for dessert!
Always delicious pasta, appetizers and salads. We love it all!
Delicious food. Great service.
Pasta da Pulcinella is tucked away in an out-of-the-way place in Midtown, and I don't think we would have ever heard of it with it being on Open Table. The food is excellent; definitely get a fresh pasta dish. Service is great. Ambiance is very good; it's really a cute place, set in an old home. We were there for our anniversary dinner, but unfortunately this was never acknowledged. One main -- and significant -- drawback is the wine menu. There typically is just one type of each wine available by the class, which is really disappointing; the other choices are bottles only. The selection of wines by the glass is not very good, so if you do not want to shell out a lot of money for a bottle (prices are steep compared to other restaurants in Midtown), try a cocktail or skip the alcohol.
Everything was very good. Great service, great food. Would definitely recommend.
Our second trip here. First trip: amazing Saturday night. This trip: possibility of rain, so outdoor dining was closed, and I’m guessing the rest of the staff was cut since there was one waiter for the whole restaurant (including bartending). A/C was on the fritz, so it was 85 degrees in the restaurant. Food was spectacular, so I’m hoping this was just an off night with an overreaction to the possibility of rain.
We've been to PdP many times over the past few years. Their offerings are excellent with their homemade pasta an added plus. Despite the restaurant being jam packed, the kitchen turned out our meals (five of us) to arrive at the same time, hot, and in a very timely manner. Amazing. Service was friendly and efficient. If there is a downside to the restaurant it is the lack of parking in the area and the third world parking lot across the street, certain to abuse your shock absorbers.
Food was excellent and it was a really cozy place. I just did not like how loud it was. Its a small place and people were really loud i could hardly hear the person i was with. Everything else was good. Excellent wine list.
Looked online and picked this restaurant out of the best Italian restaurants in Atlanta. They didn’t disappoint! Food was amazing!!
Our waiter Randy was the best. Very concerned about making sure all the details were in order. We will certainly will ask for him in the future.
We visit pasta de Pulcinella whenever in Atlanta for the floral and gift show. The food and service are both amazing! I highly recommend a visit if u are in Atlanta,
Food delicious and Kayo did a great job waiting our table. We dined outside and felt we were in Europe. Will for sure add this to one of our favorite places in Atlanta to dine.
I've been to Pasta da Pulcinella many times before and always had a great experience. I chose this place for a first date but it was so loud in the restaurant that we couldn't even carry on a conversation. Seemed much louder than in past visits but it WAS a Friday night. Service this time was lackluster. The maitre d sat us at the time of our reservation then came back a couple minutes later and proceeded to move us because they forgot they already had that table reserved for someone else (not a big deal but still a little odd). And only one of us got a glass for water when we sat down. The waiter did come over initially before we had time to look at the menu but then seemed to forget we existed for quite some time afterward. We had to flag him down to get his attention when we were ready to order.
All in all, I still love the food and will go back (I never get tired of their signature ravioli dish). But I'll think twice next time considering how loud it was. This seems to be a trend with restaurants these days...make them as loud as possible so everyone has to scream to talk to the person(s) at the table with you.
Great place for dinner prior to any event at Woodruff Arts Center. Food really good, great service.
Loved out dinner here. Food was unbelievably good! Celebrating a birthday and couldn’t be happier with out restaurant choice.
Only advice would be to get things worked out at the hostess stand before guests arrive, hostesses seemed flustered and tense.
Hana was outstanding
She is the best and makes the night
Food was wonderful as always
my favorite place in Atlanta when I come to visit
