   It took me a while to get a reservation here but wow, it was definitely worth the wait. This place is, in every aspect, a different type of restaurant. Definitely an experience! We enjoyed everything about this restaurant, from the setting to the drinks to the what’s coming next. If you haven’t experienced Pastiche make sure you do, it’s definitely worth it. Our server Katya was on point through the evening. Can’t say enough about this place. Awesome!

   It was our anniversary! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service was incredible and the lovely staff put us in a very special and cozy table :) The food was exciting and delicious. It was a very fun time , the ambiance of the restaurant is a 20/10.

   For a restaurant I've been waiting 1-2 months to eat at, I was abit disappointed with the seafood menu. The items I did like were the bread platter and the fried octopus. The different butters and presentation was great. The sauce on the fried octopus with the combo of oranges really helped lift the dish. The crudo was delicious but the clean taste of fish was overwhelmed by the cream cheese. The last 2 mains (the panko crusted halibut and potatoes) were quite disappointing. The halibut's texture was quite mushy and dry. The zucchini at the bottom of that dish really saved it. The potatoes were fine.. but nothing special I'd say. If it weren't for the amazing service and free tasters our waiter brought out as an apology for the busy kitchen, the rating def would've been lower. I wouldn't recommend the seafood menu to others. but perhaps the farm/meat menu is better.

   It was a such a wonderful dinner experience for my birthday! The staff was great and knowledgeable and provided awesome service! One small thing I would recommend the man with the beard to be polite and not so abrupt in asking us to leave immediately, when my friend was finishing her tea and we spent over $230 on a birthday dinner. I understand there is a two hour limit but you can be polite when asking your customer to leave.

   This was our first food tasting experience and so glad we came to Pastiche. The food was very unusual and delicious. There is definitely something for everyone. The service was really good as well, we were seated at a Bar and had such a nice bartender who served us refreshment drinks to try and etc. Everyone is very attentive and your water will always be full. Would definitely come again!

   This was my second time dinning at Pastiche - first time I got seafood explore. This time I got the farm, it was extremely underwhelming compared to the seafood! The seafood was the best food I have literally. This time - it was mid at best… the service was pretty good. I was also sitting at the bar, which was nice for conversation with my friend. BUT there was one bartender (not the person serving us) that was complaining about other customers to there colleague. I don’t think they could tell we could hear. Wasn’t the worst- but not the best.

   Kayla was fantastic! We were a group of 8 and have been wanting to come to Pastiche for a long time. The bar was set high and she did not disappoint. All the food was beautifully explained and suggestions for cocktails and wine were fantastic. Thanks for putting up with us and guiding us through a truly amazing dining experience.

    We had a great time! There were a couple points where we had thought we were forgotten about, but otherwise the servings came regularly and typically right when we needed! Staff were very friendly and welcoming! Great music, loud enough to get a good vibe from it, but still able to hear the server! Had thought we would be left hungry, but ended being perfectly full by the end! Would highly recommend for a unique (and very flavourful!) food experience with friendly staff and great music!

    Toronto needs more places like this! It was fun being surprised with each dish on their blind menu. Definitely a foodie adventure! Drinks were fun and not too expensive for Toronto pricing. Appreciated knowing how much alcohol is in each drink that they list on the menu. Thank you!

    Super hip cool atmosphere with a very very polite and pleasant staff. We did the mid level tasting menu and everything was delicious. This is a lot more than a cocktail bar! Highly recommend.

    Such an amazing experience. Did a girls night out and everything was excellent from the moment we stepped in. Our server was extremely kind and knowledgable of the menu, the food and drinks were great and the ambience was beautiful. No complaints, highly recommend and would go again!

    Culinary delight! Amazing experience. Soup dumplings with duck were our favorite. For cocktails we had the bramble and the pp7, both were fantastic. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Pastiche

    We enjoyed the place. It was a good experience. The food was interesting, the drinks were interesting. Definitely a cool place for dinner. Just a tip: the drinks are pricey, so just keep an eye on your how many you order if you are concerned about staying within a budget.

    Best all around dining experience for 2023. I can't wait to return. Just suggest more time between courses. Felt rushed. We felt we had to eat very quick which made us very full. Would have liked more time to enjoy the wonderful plates.

    The food and service was amazing and the atmosphere was great. We had trouble in scheduling our tasting menu. The signature tasting menu is what we had originally booked for our evening. When booking through open table it states that the 8 Course Signature menu is offered for the garden, farm and shore menus. However, I was informed by the restaurant that the signature is not offered for the garden menu and thus, was unable to enjoy the 8 dish menu. I had to opt for the 6 course. I wish that the menu had been accurate online as I had booked two months in advance and was excited for the experience. However, the garden 6 course menu was still delicious and the cocktails were great. We hesitantly sat at the bar, but it turned out to be amazing and the bartender was great.

    The service was fantastic. The waitress that tended to us was attentive and courteous. We purchased their signature meal plan. They started us off with a plate of olives and seasoned nuts. It took time for the remainder of the food to arrive (we were told there was a delay in the kitchen (30+ minutes) and so we ended up eating all of the olives and nuts (we basically got full off of it). So when the remainder of the food arrived we werent that hungry. We took it home, it was good, but I dont believe it justified the price. For their signature meal and a couple of drinks the bill was a total of $240.

    Overall, mediocre. Some dishes are good. Some dishes are great. Not the best flavor combinations for the short ribs. The vegan/ veggie menu is horrible. Do not get it.

    We really appreciated the glass of prosecco bought for us when we sat down for our anniversary dinner. Cute little table with lots of neat decor. Music was on point. Great staff that was very helpful explaining the food and drink. We will be back!

    I recently visited Pastiche and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The food was sub-par at best, and the drinks were mediocre. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the service was extremely slow, and we had to wait an unacceptably long time for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, we were rushed through our meal and even asked to leave before we had finished our last course because the restaurant had another reservation coming in. The final insult was that our dessert was packed in a to-go bag, which felt embarrassing. The bar did offer us 2 drinks on the house as a way to make up for our experience, which was a nice gesture. However, even with this compensation, we were extremely disappointed with the overall experience at Pastiche. The poor quality of the food along with the rushed service, overshadowed any attempt at goodwill. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning in the future.

    Love love love. What an experience this was! We did the signiture menu which was like a surf and turf experience. Creative food that was tasty. The cocktails were fun and delicious. Bathtub drink was awesome with some kind of acai berry bubble bath. Loved that it wasn't too sweet. Service was awesome. Thank you!
