We arrived at the Bess gardens at 5:50 and it was not open. It said that it was open on it’s website. Nobody was in the area. We tried to phone them and the number online was incorrect. We kept interrupting a lady that they had a incorrectly put her number online. We went across the street to another restaurant.

Great food, good service but tables were or appeared dirty and the "garden" was a big disappointment. Food was that of top notch restaurant but atmosphere and facility were very second class.

The food was incredible. It was very quiet and peaceful however it looked a little run down, empty flower containers, weeds etc…. It’s such a stunning place with so much potential!

Definitely had higher expectations. Food was decent, service was terrible. We had to turn on our own lighting in the dome and waited 15 min before getting greeted. Won’t return, not worth the hype. Also had a low coffee table that we were expected to eat a meal off of. Not exactly ideal.

We booked the dome for 8 of us and we had a fantastic evening. Spent 1/2 of the time in the dome but it was such a beautiful night we moved outside for the 2nd half. Food and service were fantastic. It’s a smaller menus but delicious!

Eating on the Patio was very enjoyable. We sat in a dome, which was very quaint and enjoyable in the outdoor setting. Best of all the dome had AC being pumped in. No better way to enjoy the outdoors during this heat wave :)

The food is great! 9/10. I dont have anything to complain about the food! But it was our FIRST time to be there and we had a reservation for my daughter’s birthday. We were not warned or informed that it was disgustingly HOT inside the dome and will NOT be suitable for dining especially with kids or even adults. It’s my mistake i chose 12pm for the dining experience but again it’s our first time we could’ve atleast been given the option PRIOR coming if we wanted to proceed NOT when we were there already and paid for parking etc. We had to carry by ourselves some umbrella just to proceed and make the best out of a bad situation. If they know it’s that hot at that time they should not open til 5pm. Or be transparent about it. No discount too. The $200 amount to spend stayed the same. And food came after an HOUR from the time we ordered. So better eat before you go which defeats the purpose. 2/10 for overall.

We had dinner in the dome for my husband and I’s 5th wedding anniversary. It was so special. Food was amazing. Our waitress was so great. Great experience for sure!

The Patio was great. We went for our anniversary and for our first dinner out since COVID. We chose it for the location, being able to book on the patio, and go for a walk by the river after. Everything was good. No problems. Just not excellent. I will definitely go again but for a more casual celebration, after work drinks or after shopping or before a show kinda thing. We had the loaded fries and they were amazing. Definitely going back for those. My husband had the tenderloin and it was also amazing. And I had the Nicoise. It was good. felt like it was missing something though. But over all good and I would have it again.

We brought our family to dine which included a child. Perfect place for all ages. A great playground out there!! Our server was attentive. The food ordered did not disappoint. An enjoyable evening. I love the setting.

Servers were great! Out food arrived later than other tables but it was very good. When I asked about the tuna steak being under done she offered to have it cooked through. Nice quiet outdoor place to visit!

Excellent service and the food was incredible! We did feel a bit rushed but that was because we were a few minutes late. We appreciated being placed in the furthest bubble for privacy. Lovely way to spend my 30th birthday with my family!!!

We had a 1:15 p.m. reservation. The sun was blistering but your usual number of umbrellas were not available. One of your servers was amazing and said that if we could find a place to wait, she would make sure we had an umbrella. We have come every year since the patio opened. You need to have MORE umbrellas for the afternoon. We were disappointed that there were less than usual. The service was beyond excellence. One of the servers used to work in the Garden Cafe. They should be recognized for their service. Also, we have booked for tomorrow night for our family. They were helpful telling us to make sure we added in comments to get table we wanted.

Great place to eat at while in the city, especially if staying somewhere near Spadina Crescent. Quiet, cozy, great views, and even greater food - the right amount and the perfect taste. Only thing disrupting the ambience was the untamed flower bed, I only saw one. Excessive weeds growing in it instead of flowers kind of throw off the overall mood. Otherwise - a great place to visit!

Table of 4, Steak Frites and Chicken Supreme were the Mains selected...chicken was fairly dry, steak cooked perfectly. Waitress was very attentive...2 hour limit/reservation. The view and atmosphere here are the selling features on a nice evening.

Had a great evening with friends. It started raining but we had dinner in a dome so it was really cool enjoying the view with the rain. Our waitress was amazing dealing with the rain and water! Food was delicious. Would certainly do this experience again.
