For just $60, two can feast on charcuterie, sausage, potatoes, mustard, pickles, focaccia, and chutney — all accompanied with a pot of piping hot cheese fondue for dipping and savouring. The food is great, creative and interesting. The service is confused / confusing . Would’ve expected some warmth, a smile but was very dry, impersonal and task oriented. Had written in the reservation request that it was my husband’s 40th - no mention of it, no gesture… Decor is modern and restaurant noise level high.

Great food excellent service. A great variety of wines - although a bit more on the overpriced end - you will still be able to find a good one. I ordered the scallops; they were amazing!!

Wow, now that is what I call and overall amazing experience. From the welcoming host that turned out to being the restaurant manager, to the creative food and exquisite service. 100% woudl love to go back.

The food in this bar is not bar food nor fine dining its drenched in olive oil hardlt any protien based meals and portions are extremely small. Halifax as alot better food almost any other restaurant!

There are currently 14 protein based dishes on our menu, and while we don't feel any of our dishes are extremely small, we have shareables, small, and large menu options clearly outlined on our menu. A delight for the senses- fab wine selection, luxe interior, polenta fries and marinated cucumbers were smashing. However the cavatelli pasta was overly acidic and needed more mascarpone to balance it.

Amazing event; loved seeing BKS and then go to Peacock- food was stellar, service amazing and all around an amazing event ….. the beef was insane ! No knife needed , so tender and flavourful

Food was great. Only issue was that the Burrata dish did not come with any bread or crackers for $30 and that you have to buy additional bread at $9. The burrata should come with something for that price. Looks like trying to drive the bill price up intentional on customers. Not a good look.

Went to catch up with an old pal, and while the place was very energetic the noise level wasn’t unbearable! I could still carry on an easy conversation. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

This would be a great spot for a drink - but not so much a meal. Our server was exquisite and was very kind and professional - and she even brought out a little treat as we were celebrating birthdays- the olive oil cake was delightful! The food was not that remarkable, which I did expect for the cost. Also - send some toast points or crackers etc for the tartare - strange to see it served without a vehicle of its own.

Went there with my family and two friends. We were seated in a nice booth but so close to the other table it made it uncomfortable to sit. There were other seats available so not sure why they had put us so close. The large portion of pasta was not very large-my girls had an appetizer then pasta and were still hungry. Loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent.

Lots of hype around this spot, so was anxious to try. The lighting and ambience is dark and hip, which is cool, until you're trying to read a lengthy menu in tiny font. Our server was very nice, and attentive, but did not really speak to or help clarify choices of wines on the list. Some guidance, or choices of wine profiles, would be great from a place billing itself as a wine bar. Open Table insisted that I rate the food, but it's important to note that we didn't eat anything. Food that went to adjacent tables looked beautifully plated, but I can't speak to taste.
