   Breakfast was very ordinary for the calibre of resort. ….toast arrived cold on both days! MUCH prefer the old breakfast buffet which was outstanding…..please consider bringing it back!

   Great service. Friendly server. Food was good Good selection on the menu. Very nice views and appreciated being able to make a reservation. Only complaint was very weak coffee. No flavour. Enjoyed everything else about the breakfast and venue

    Calamari was delicious! The Halibut was good especially the succotash, very tasty. I did not enjoy the lamb… it was cold when I got it, like right through. The potato latke that came with it didn’t have any flavour either.

    Food, service and the view were great. We had the calamari, halibut and lamb. Calamari was amazing, great texture and flavours. Halibut was so flaky and moist, best we’ve ever had. Lamb wasn’t particularly visually appealing or flavourful but was perfectly cooked and still enjoyable to eat.

    One of the best experiences at Sparkling Hills!! Rooms are amazing with spectacular view.. great amenities! My wife and I also had couples massage, Collin and Chris were great massage therapists. Complimentary breakfast was also descent! Dinner at German restaurant was quite an experience again with stunning view on the patio and great food! One suggestion, coffee at the restaurant needs to be a little bit more strong, don’t think there is any choice than one kind and it was very light! Bringing dark roast as another choice would be great. Overall 5 Star all the way!!

    My husband found 2 fish bones in his breakfast, almost to chock with them. Absolutely unsafe. The service wasn't good. I had to ask twice for water and then the waitress brought water only for me, not for my husband.

    We had an issue with our AC unit continuously, but everyone at sparkling hill were on top of it right away ensuring that we were taking care of. One of our best stays by far. Thank you all so much!

    Unfortunately I did not enjoy the salmon and found it to be tough. I was too hungry to send it back though. For $45 I expect to eat something better than I could cook myself. The service, atmosphere, wine and dessert was all fantastic though. My friends steak tasted great.

    Food is incredible! Don't be afraid to ask questions about the menu. Definitely book a reservation and you won't wait a second which was very pleasant. Some servers did seem inexperienced or genuine with making conversation but other than that it was incredible!

    We had dinner here for Mother's Day, and unlike some of the negative reviews our food and service were fantastic. For starters we had Caesar salad and beet salad, then bison sauce pasta, beef tenderloin, and salmon for mains (generous portions and all very good), and the lemon dessert. View and ambience were wonderful, though maybe avoiding sitting in the direct sunlight. Only complaint is the price: even for all these courses and a few drinks, it got very expensive very fast.

    The resort and restaurant itself is beautiful- the setting is spectacular. The food and service were great as well. My only surprise was that we were expecting to have a lunch and it turned out to be a brunch buffet instead, with mainly breakfast type items. I didn’t realize that as it wasn’t advertised when I booked it. It was a high end brunch and because it was Mother’s Day, the ladies were gifted tulips, which was a nice touch.

    The views and venue are incredible, however the Mother's Day brunch, although presented well, the food was luke warm at best. Our server offered us more coffee like every three minutes which was ridiculous, probably due to her not having anything else to do as it was a buffet. The buffet was over priced...before tip the total for 2 people was $144, this is without any additional beverages other than the coffee and juice that was provided with the buffet. I would not recommend the buffet, perhaps regular menu on a regular day would be much better.

    The view was incredible. Ambience amazing. I requested a window seat and we did have one. But as we were a party of two, the table of 4 beside us was too close. We couldn’t enjoy a conversation without heading theirs. My son has allergies and the staff was very helpful. The food was really good but for the price, I thought there might be a larger selection of salads and treats.

    Fabulous views and ambience, Dinner excellent apart from slow kitchen but that seems the norm here, based on 4 stays over the years. Mother’s Day brunch was rather ordinary and the seafood section was plain and unappetizing, with small cold pieces of skinny crab legs, mussels and prawn all in one bowl, no cocktail sauce. Still, a lovely place for a special weekend.
