Wow! What an amazing meal. The avocado salad is awesome, but it does have pistachios on it. So if you have a tree nut allergy, be aware. Pasta was amazing. Wonderful night

Was not really impressed by the hostess. Tall blonder Caucasian lady. Was not friendly at all and had an attitude. Also came to the restaurant a week before. Did not have a reservation, the same hostess turned us away and said theres not enough time to serve us even though it was 1.5 hours before closing. Didnt even offer to put our name down on waiting list. Gave it another shot one week after because i really wanted my parents to try this place. Made reservations this time, but saw the same hostess again when we walked in. Not only was she not welcoming but also was not friendly. Not very impressed by her. She is pretty much customers first impression of the restaurant as she is the first person we see as we enter. Hopefully someone will follow up with her

Love this place! Top notch service, delicious negornis and sensational food (spaghetti + meatballs + avocado salad and way too much bread). It was my grans birthday and they gave her a card with recipe for their meatballs and marinara sauce. She spent most of the meal stressing about where she was going to find a 1/2 if the ingredients listed “where the eff do I find Parma? Sersiousky”. It was pretty funny.

Love this place even though it’s noisy AF.

Excellent waitstaff, warm and comfortable room. Wine is stupid overpriced ($17/glass?!?!?!) so we skipped it, and the food is pricey too, but it was super delish so I can forgive that.

My daughter and I shared the Avocado House salad and 2 pastas-more than enough with leftovers (no leftover salad-it was way too yummy!). The four course special was tempting and great value but we both wanted pastas.

My friend and I really enjoyed having Ivan as our waiter. I would recommend this restaurant, but, like Savio Volpe, it is very noisy. We were seated between 2 large birthday party groups, so as 2 women dining, it was hard to hear each other speak.

The service was great and attentive. The appetizers - ceasar salad and calamari was phenomenal, but the main dishes such as the linguine pasta and spaghetti and meat balls were terrible. It was like somebody accidentally poured the whole bottle of salt. We could not finish it

i have visited pepino's twice before and have gotten the "big anthony" pork chop parm each time and was looking forward to it again on this visit. the chop was great but it was missing the usual small side of pasta which i always ordered an extra meatball with (which never came). i asked the waiter and he said they changed the menu as the sides of pasta with the entrees "confused patrons", so this was very disappointing to say the least. that side of pasta was the perfect accompaniment to the chop as i always enjoy pepino's pasta....and the side costs them what....50cents? so this now makes the $34 price point of the pork chop somewhat high in my opinion and the fact it was never mentioned was a disappointment. i'd also recommend a wine choice below the price point of $9 a glass or $45 a bottle. most restaurants have a house red and white that is affordable for people just wanted to enjoy a simple table wine. overall i do like pepino's and will possibly return to try other dishes, i've been a loyal "nick's" patron for 25 years and love what they've done with the space and vibe....even if some tables are WAY too close.

Service was excellent and attentive. Majority of the food was great. I found the veal a little bit dry but otherwise good. Price is not exactly cheap but you pay for the quality. Portions are quite decent too.

When we arrived at Pepinos we were seated right away and our server was polite and attentive. Unfortunately once we put our order in she did not come back to check on our drinks... we had to wave her down.

I do understand things happen and the table in front of us was being a little rude to her. I don’t know if this took away her focus. I feel that if the situation were different we might have had better service

Excellent food and service - just be prepared for a reasonably loud dining experience. Pepino's is a very small room, so things will be naturally be louder.

Was a cozy little place with great food, service, the wine selection is great as well. Every table was booked on a Wednesday night so you know they are doing something right. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the cannelloni which was to die for! Just wholesome Italian food. Love the little bibs they give you so your dinner is splatter-proof. Only thing is that the tables are super close, and the benches are a tad low.

This is my second time at Pepino's and it was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday and application submission. The menu had changed so that was a little disappointing and the fettuccine alfredo got cold real quick, but overall I would still recommend Pepino's and come again. I'd probably check the menu beforehand and try something different.

Buffala mozzarella to start; lovely pesto. Two pastas and two mains to share between four. What a spaghetti! Simply deadly. My famiglia scooped up the Alfredo, leaving me with oodles of noodles, —tasty with the bone marrow (osso buco)—and the pollo was succulent.
Felt right at home on our first visit... the staff hit all the right notes, left us feeling replete, longing to linger. Miguel’s presence and wine service will be missed.

Nezt time, wine pairings!

Very good food and service.
Value wise I would not rate as high.
$26 for spaghetti and meatballs seems too much.
Entres and wines seem expensive for a pasta house.

Second time at this restaurant and I think I love it even more. The caprese salad was one of the best I’ve ever had! And the gnocchi were like little clouds of heaven. I shared the osso bucco with my husband and it was good, but didn’t blow me away like the other dishes. I’d probably try a different main next time - those lamb chops looked divine. We also had the tiramisu and it was hands down the best tiramisu I think I’ve ever had in Canada, the US or Italy!
Service was wonderful! Ambience is nice, but space is tight. Overall I’m looking forward to my next experience dining here!!!

The service was great , server was attentive . Even bought out a cake for the birthday girl as he knew we were celebrating . We all ordered the clam linguine , but for some reason it had chilli flakes in the sauce and it was way to spicy for all of us to eat. We didn’t realize that it was part of the sauce but the server informed us it wasn’t and was super nice to offer it to be comped. The kale avocado salad was very tasty and we really enjoyed it.
