Excellent in every respect except extremely high noise level
Our food was fantastic, our server was very helpful and descriptive of our inquiries as well. Everything we ordered was excellent. Pepino's also offered a sweet touch with a candle on our dessert for our birthday celebration.
Quality and flavour of food is out of this world. Defs will be coming back here again
We have eaten there on prior occasions and it was fantastic. However, the other evening was less then we expected. The noise level was unbearable!! I prefer the summer menu to the winter one. The service was excellent and the staff always wonderful.

The table on the wall beside the bar was very tight for 4 people. I had the corner seat and found the bench low and not enough elbow room.
Overall a pleasant dining experience. Service was attentive, but at times distracted by an incredibly loud and demanding table by us. We ordered a dinner for 4, and it was delicious! The wine pairing was lackluster -- I would definitely recommend just getting a couple of great bottles on the menu vs fumbling though 4 sub-par glasses. The mozzarella was unreal, and the gnocchi is a must! Staff were all amazing.

Overrated, disappointing, and arrogant. Small portions, under seasoned meat, bland ragu, and okay noodles. The highlight of our meal was the broccoli which was a side dish — this speaks for itself. Drinks and service were both brilliant, but I doubt we’ll return.
My husband and son had a wonderful dinner celebrating their birthdays which are one day apart! Thank you Pepinos!❤️

Outstanding food and value. My only issue is that they are so busy they server we had was run off her feet. Got the order wrong, was a bit testy and every time a dish came out they had no clue which table it was for so we got asked multiple times if a dish was for our table when it was not.
However I would return as I feel confident these are minor issues and the bottom line is the food is awesome!!

Last time wasn’t too shabby so thought to go again with a friend. Was a quite disappointed this time round. Found a hair in our Fettuccine Alfredo and the Pappardell Ragu was quite dry. Had to request bread for the table as the server forgot to bring any. Unfortunately our sever wasn’t quite as attentive as the other servers. It’s a pity as the first time we dined here was quite enjoyable besides the noise level.
Great evening. Lovely food, attentive staff. Our first visit to this restaurant. we had a small wait for our table to be ready and were able to wait at a high top table by the entrance and have a drink. we chose the set menu and found this o be of good value with endless options. The avocado salad was delicious - so many flavors and textures, we had the spaghetti bolognaise which was tasty, the veal scalopini and the zucchini paremesan both of which were really good. Tiramisu for desert ended our selection.Nice wine selection without being overwhelming.
Great spot. Been several times now. Only complaint is the noise (and I am a young guy that loves loud music) and that it is pretty expensive for the style of restaurant. Maybe 10% more than what would be reasonable Imo.
Food was delicious. Large portions. The chicken entree was on the saltier side but it was really good. The fettuccini Alfredo mushroom was delicious and filling. The tiramisu was a highlight!
2nd time here; celebrated my birthday with family. The food here is absolutely amazing, however some of the pasta portions are a bit small for bigger groups, especially for the gnocchi and the short rib ragu. The only two that I’ve found to be the most valued For sharing is the spaghetti & meatballs(very filling) and linguine and clams. The tiramisu is a must try, even if you’re already stuffed! Definitely will be back again soon 🤗
The food is like a fine-r dining take on Italian comfort classics - best fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had. Service attentive, kind, and fun despite a very busy room.
It is loud. So just raise your voice and join the fun. Close to finer dining but the price point and atmosphere is accessible.

The staff went above and beyond to make our visit and unforgettable experience and cherished memory. We cannot remember our servers name, but if you can figure out who it was based on this reservation - she deserves accolades and recognition for outstanding service!! We cannot wait for our next trip to the mainland and will definitely be stopping by.
A very pleasant update on Nick's original menu. The spot is hopping and very loud so be prepared. We were fortunate that the host was able to move us to a bit of a quieter spot.
Enjoyed dining at Pepino’s & food was very good. Dishes were well prepared & cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Restaurant is small & has an energetic vibe.
Maybe my expectation was too high. It was just an average Italian restaurant that nothing was impressive. I liked that food was served quick. I don’t think I will go back for Italian food craving.
Pepinos never disappoints, great food & friendly service. The 3 of us split the dinner for 2, & we still had leftovers. We opted for Fresh Mozzarella & tomato salad. Sooo good! Roasting the tomato is absolutely brilliant, especially this time of year when fresh tomatoes just aren’t great. We also had the Spaghetti & Meatballs (that sugo is especially delicious), Chicken Picatta, Zucchini Parmesan. All really good, followed by the daily dessert which was a chocolate pudding. Can’t wait to go back & have it all again.

I always love coming to this restaurant for dinner. The food is great and so are the portions. The servers are friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere even though a bit noisy. Great for celebrating a special occasion.

I took my mom and sister for their birthdays and we were treated to the best tiramisu we have ever had - so much delicious marscarpone cheese! Our server was helpful, fun, and all servers were attentive and friendly. Short rib pappardelle and lobster fettucine specials were delicious and the housemade noodles tender but perfectly al dente. My family were patrons of the old Nick's spaghetti house and the owners of Pepino's managed to maintain the character and warmth of Nick's. Will definitely come back!

It was a great experience!! The spicy penne with meatballs and fried olives was perfect.
I have been advised by friends that Pepinos is a really good family restaurant and jokes aside I felt really good dining there. The staff is bery attentive, the food comes quick and taste home made. I love the fact that they had sparkling red wine as many places dont. They are open late and took me in 10pm without rushing so that was very nice of them. Even though I ordered tasting menu which is longer. I recommend their cheesecake, veal and ricotta pasta. The calamari just nothing special but the other dishes were really nice. I would go there again.
Pepino’s was such a fun, unfussy experience. The food was really the highlight- all your favorite Italian-Canadian retro classics, but elevated with the freshest ingredients. Only minor disappointments were a wait for the meat course and the overall noise level. Would highly recommend overall, however.
