Our family's Thanksgiving experience at this restaurant was truly memorable. From the moment we stepped in, the high-quality of every dish stood out, many dishes like the cranberry sauce tasted homemade. The ambience of the space contributed greatly to our enjoyment, with tasteful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the music was the only aspect that detracted from the experience, lacking a consistent theme and feeling somewhat disjointed from the setting. Despite this, the meal itself was a remarkable success, and we left with a sense of gratitude for a wonderful thanksgiving meal.

Pera is very good and conveniently located. I've had many nice meals there, for lunch and dinner. This last time I had the grape leaves and grilled octopus, both of which were delicious. The octopus was a little underdone, but still great, especially the accompanying gigante beans.

Great to have this little place so close to Grand Central Station for drinks & apps or for a pleasant dinner. I have been here a few times and like the atmosphere and food, however this night it was quite loud so we sat outdoors. We didn't realize thetraffic noise would be quite so loud, but overall we had a nice evening. A few things that could have been improved: octopus appetizer was a bit small for the price, and the menu could have included a few more gluten free friendly appetizers as well as entrees. I would have loved some GF crackers or veggies for the wonderful baba ganoush and other dips, and a few more choices besides the 2 GF entrees.

This was a lovely experience. My friends and I really enjoyed the food and drinks. We shared a bunch of delicious appetizers rather than ordering individual meals and we were quite happy. Ambiance was nice. The only complaint we had is that it was way too noisy and we couldn't hear one another talk.

Pera is located near Grand Central. The Saturday lunch menu was abbreviated. All dishes were excellent. The service was prompt. Prices were aligned with midtown. Even my vegan diner was happy.

Our dinner was fantastic. We had the muhammara and the fried calamari appetizers and both were flavorful and delicious, and our chicken & steak entrees were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Service was attentive but not intrusive. A wonderful night with our son & his girlfriend.

We went for our anniversary and it was amazing! Right away the matre'd told us happy anniversary and sent over two glasses of champagne for us. They were extremely attentive to all of our needs throughout dinner and I can't rave enough about the food! We even ordered a few dishes to go to have them the next day for lunch. We can't wait to go back! Definitely order the octopus and the pita bread! So simple but so so good!

Attentive service and nice atmosphere, although a bit loud inside. Food was excellent -- we had the Pera dip trio to start, lamb chop special and kale gnocchi. Everything was prepared perfectly. There was a bit of a lag between appetizer and main dish but acceptable considering how busy it was. Staff helpful, knowledgeable and gracious.

This place is awesome! 2 blocks from Grand Central. I had watermelon salad and grilled salmon ( with awesome crispy skin) over butternut squash risotto! Amazing!!! Can’t wait to go back!

It’s not that I would never go back there again but Pera was nothing exciting. The lamb was fine. The hummus good. The dessert menu limited. The cappucino stunk. The server was very good. It was quiet - but it was Monday and practically empty.

Very crowded, very loud. Lunch crowd seemed to be very hectic for the staff. It took over 30 minutes for our order to be taken. The Pera Trio used to come with soft pits bread, now it comes with very HARD pita chips. Did not enjoy that appetizer. Main course was a salad that consisted of only cucumber, tomato, olives, onion & a very thin slice of feta cheese which didn't taste like feta cheese. They are definitely skimping on their ingredients. This used to one of my favorite restaurants in Midtown, but sadly not as desirable anymore.

Our party of 8 sat in a perfect nook at a round table as requested. Our server was extremely attentive - perhaps to a fault - not providing enough time to look at the wine list and then forgetting an app we ordered. The food was good but not spectacular as it should have been for the prices we paid. The portions (in particular the salads with added on protein, but even the salmon) were very small. We won't return here.
