Pera derives its name from an elegant neighborhood in Istanbul that has served as the melting pot for many cultures and cuisines since the 17th century. Pera features numerous mezes, specially prepared and marinated cuts of grilled meats and seafood, traditional and modern Mediterranean side dishes and regional breads baked a la minute.

Current restrictions limit accommodations to seated outdoor dining only, with a maximum of 10 persons per table. All tables are provided with proper cover in the case of rain.

So glad we tried this restaurant before a night at the theater! The upbeat and relaxed atmosphere was matched by savory Mediterranean dishes. Loved the lamb, salmon and dark chocolate soufflé desert. Broad menu of wines and mixed drinks. Excellent food at a reasonable price. We will be back!

We ordered drinks at the bar . My drink was warm. We were originally being sat at the covered outside seating area. This was unacceptable so they did seat us inside. Portions ranged from small to average. Our server was distracted and inattentive. Flavors were average as best. Will not be returning, there was not one thing that stood out as delicious .

We went here to celebrate a special occasion but this is our go to restaurant and we live in Brooklyn. We love the ambiance, the service and especially the food. Best lamb Adana hands down! And the chocolate soufflé is a must! Staff is beyond nice and always accommodating any special requests. If you’ve never been here, you must try it. You will be hooked!

Stunning restaurant. We went during restaurant week and they offered a 3-course meal for an extremely reasonable price. The food was so good we wanted to keep eating but we also got full so fast. I would definitely come back!

Frist time diner with Birthday Wife. Very attentive Hosts, seated us promptly and offered us a larger table to better enjoy the Birthday. Waiter was especially attentive, took our order for Food and Wine. Wine was presented quickly and poured during the meal as needed. Food was Spectacular, as was the wine. Coupled with the quality of the staff and the Food, prices were Very Reasonable. Best part was the waiter bringing out and Ice Cream Dessert with glowing candle, singing Happy Birthday. All in All, a memorable evening that will be repeated.

Great experience. Made a reservation a few weeks in advance before an event nearby. Only complaint would be they seemed to set everyone in the same 1/4 of the restaurant when the rest was pretty open. Food was great. Do wish the wine by the glass menu was a bit bigger/better as we were about to go to a wine event so couldn’t get a bottle.
