The waiter was rude. Trying to get rid of us before closing time by saying "good night ladies" a few times.The food is very mediocre and has nothing to do with Turkish food, as I know it. No wonder it was completely empty!!

We were starving and running a little behind on our reservation. The restaurant was more than accommodating and got us seated just in time for last call before kitchen closed to setup for dinner. Food was delicious and service was great!

The outdoor seating is a big positive of this restaurant. Our appetizer came after our entrees. However, the restaurant was professional and kind to still us the appetizer with no charge. The waitress was good. The food was ok. I certainly have nothing to rave about for food. The plants were fake :(

Food was excellent with a wide variety to choose from. Loved the eggplant dip and the portobellow gyro, both were flavorful beautifully presented. French fries were on the soggy side but were still tasty. The mocktails were good, but on the pricey side for something without any alcohol. Restaurant was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Servers were attentive and helpful in making menu recommendations. We were sad to miss out on the olive oil cake that was sold out but the ice cream sandwiches were delicious.

Nice servers and people there but the food and drink wasn’t as good as I had hoped. Hummus and brussell sprouts were solid, but the meat lollipops and rice were not good. Drinks weren’t great either

To start, this was one of a handful of restaurants that would seat my family of 14 without charging a minimum $5k “event” fee. They accepted my reservation through OpenTable like normal with no questions asked AND without restricting the menu. Made my life so much easier and very much appreciate that!! On top of that—the restaurant is a little NYC gem! The outdoor patio is wonderful. It has awnings to protect from sun/rain; and more importantly this summer, it has fans running above each table so that everyone was comfortable sitting outdoors on a hot/humid day. Additionally, tables and chairs are generously sized and spaced apart comfortably so that you don’t feel you’re sitting on top of one another or with strangers. On top of that—food was great! With such a big group, we ended up ordering pretty much one of everything on the menu and had zero complaints. Everything was tasty and generously portioned, and most important is that there was something for everyone. Finally, quick shout out to Armando who put up with our family for a 3ish hour long dinner—he was wonderful!! He was kind and helpful and accommodating and even brought out a celebratory dessert when he realized we were celebrating my niece’s start of college. Could not have asked for anything else!

Pera was a great experience.. The food was exceptionally well. I got the lamb sampler and it took me back to being in Turkey. The lamb Adana is perfect and by far my favorite because of the pistachios which was a great addition. The grilled octopus was such a great appetizer. The manager of the restaurant Michael came by the table and so warm and welcoming..he invited me to go to the midtown location and do a comparison. I'm so excited to try the food at the other location as well because I've heard a lot of good things about it
