P.F. Chang’s - Winnipeg
We absolutely LOVE PF Chang's. The service has always been great and the food fantastic. Thank you for all you do especially during these weird times.
The quality of food and service in PF Changs is consistent and very good - a lot of options and different from the usual fare. Safety of clients respected and limited number of diners so I was not concerned at being indoors at all there. We were not rushed but had an attentive and knowledgeable wait staff.
It was very noisy with the clanging of dishes in the kitchen. Too noisy. The food was overpowered with ginger.
The food was excellent and our server was very attentive. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they were kind to give us a special dessert and card. Very thoughtful.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and give it 5 stars!
Waitress Suzy was terrific. Very attentive and thoughtful.
Great food One of our favorite resturants in Florida has now come to Winnipeg
Tables and chairs could have been cleaner. Chair was dirty and table had bits of rice on it.
Everything was good, my only criticisms are it was pretty cold inside the restaurant and they served us food with giving us cutlery or napkins. But other than that I had a great time and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
Service was very poor. Server was inattentive. 40 minutes after ordering we hadn't received our soup, nor had we seen our server. After speaking to the manager we were informed one of the soups we ordered was not available. I would have thought that the server should have come and told us that. We cancelled the other soup in Hope's our food would arrive quickly. It took another 15 minutes for our meal to arrive. We were never asked if we wanted another drink, nor offered coffee or tea after our meal. Manager offered us complimentary desserts for the extremely long delay. We both ordered the same dessert, server brought us only 1 dessert to share.
Very good experience overall. Service and food really good. Adherence to COVID guidelines . Unfortunately but understandably the menu has been modified . Will definitely go back . Similar to P.F. Changes in Vegas.
Food was good. But service was poor. We had to wait a good 20 minutes from when we received our first plate of food until we received the last of our order. In the meantime I had to go over to the bar to ask for someone to bring us our last drink and condiments. The waitress just brought our food and left, never once asking us if we were missing anything, or even coming back to check on us during this whole time. The only time she would come to our table was when we got up to call for service, or to bring what we had to ask someone to bring us. It seemed like she did not have her mind at work.
The manager was amazing. We were celebrating our anniversary and he brought us a complimentary dessert with a card signed by himself and the serving staff. Amazing customer experience.
Awesome birthday location. They were very accommodating for our allergies
Food was fantastic we usual. Great service and the ambience was super.
Great place to eat! Food and service were great. Also, there are many gluten free options.
The service and food was excellent.
Server if she did not know the answer to a question she went and found out and explained everything to us.
Food was excellent, great value. We had a bit of a problem with one of the dishes and the mgr. came over listened, went back to the kitchen, came out with an explanation, offered us a new dish or a credit and then provided us with a complementary dessert.
First class service and attention to detail.
Service was excellent. Lettuce wraps are delicious! Only suggestion - add more vegetables to the main entrees. Ordered the Mongolian beef and Sesame chicken and was told chicken was loaded with vegetables. Not exactly the case. Tasty but also sweet.
Normally one of my favourites in every city that has one. The first time we went to the on in Winnipeg it was great! THIS time, we sat right away, waited 35 minutes for our drinks after ordering. One of the drinks ordered was not done the way it always is. Serious consistency issues. Appetizers were on time and great. Main course was on time but not warm. Clearly they are still working out some new franchise systems. But again, 2 weeks earlier it was perfect. May have been a staffing issue. The managing partner / general manager was kind of sour. He was making drinks behind the bar ... that were not good. The bartender was serving. In my experience, it should have been the other way around. The server (i.e. suppose to be bartender) tried to make it up to us with a free dessert, which was a kind gesture but that would not sway us. We'll wait a few weeks, go again, but if their issue is not solved, no more. Also, it was not just our table, it was others. Did I mention we waited 35 minutes for drinks from the time we ordered them? That was a first.
Very tasty food options- was hard what to decide on. Wish there were a couple of combination plates of their signature items. Staff were attentive. Was pleasantly surprised by a delicious Free desert As it was my birthday- the coconut- pineapple ice cream and fried bananas were delicious!
It was similar to the ones I’ve been to in the states
Food was mostly great (dessert was not so much) but our regular orders from the main menu were fantastic! Our server was outstanding and attentive.
We were very disappointed with everything. Service was sub par, she spent allot of time flirting with the table behind us but couldn’t manage to refill our drinks. Got two of the five drinks we ordered before our meal. Got our meal and had to ask another server for cutlery. Only to find our chicken was way overdone, our noodles were hard (not cooked). For the hype and the price I guess I was expecting more. They did try and make it up to us by comping meals and offering a future gift certificate but due to the menu being limited for children’s options we won’t be going back.
Modern, comfortable atmosphere; good food and choices; bar / lounge staff were somewhat disorganized for a Friday evening... they'll improve with training and experience.
The sushi roll was terrible ... slabs of room temperature runs almost a centimetre thick that looked like they had been cut with a butter knife. Ick. Nothing finessed or artful about it. Served with three packages of soya sauce thrown on the table. The Buddha’s Feast vegetable and tofu dish had dried out bits of tofu in it, and asparagus sliced up unevenly that included the dried out white tree trunk like ends (inedible). Even the broccoli was too large florets so they were uncooked. The management and staff handled our complaints poorly as if we were just complainers and didn’t really see or get the issue with the food. With so many really great Asian restaurants around this one is a travesty. Give it a big miss.
We had an a outstanding meal - hot and sour soup is the best of the best, deep friend green beans a winner - lettuce wraps with dynamite shrimp packed a bit of heat but delicious - Mongolian beef and the street noodles finished off an excellent meal. They were out of some types of beer which was a bummer but surprised us with a birthday treat which was a delicious and appreciated ending to our dinner! The care they showed us during this COVID time was great including a table hand sanitizer which we used often!! We will be back!
The egg plant had too much sauce
More than last time
Prepared for COVID very well
We had a great experience. The wood was very good. We mentioned we just got married and they went out of their way to make us feel special. All the staff signed and gave us a card.
Excellent experience! ☺️
Salmon was dry and rice overcooked.
Great value for the quality and quantity of food you get. Service was great and love to see all the precautions put into place during the pandemic
We had our first COVID-19 patio dining experience at P.F. Chang’s. It was very pleasant, food was amazing! Good to be out...
We really enjoyed it the first time we went...this time the COVID virus dealt the experience a bit of a blow. The masks were fine, but it just seemed a tad flat. the first time we went the server was crazy good and had tones of personality, this time the masks and tension kind of did it in. We know you are great however and we will be back! You put on a killer effort and the food...always amazing.
The food is Americanized Chinese for the most part. The menu as shown on Open Table is not completely consistent with the menu at the restaurant. Although we were the second table of diners for lunch, the food took some time to arrive. The food was acceptable, but the portions are not generous for the price. After ordering an appetizer and a noodle dish to share (for two), we had to order more food because we were still a bit hungry.
We were greeted and seated promptly, as it wasn't too busy. We had a nice table by the patio. They had good protocols in place with regards to the whole COVID-19 situation, and our server Mikalyn was great, attentive but not constantly hovering. She delivered our requests quickly.
The sake sangria and whisky was great and reasonably priced. My shrimp in lobster sauce was delish and so was my friends' ginger chicken, even if the broccoli were a bit large and firm. My takeout friend eggplant was just as scrumptious. As always, the unlimited brown rice is a nice feature to have. My only gripe is that the pricing seems a bit off in some items, but not as bad as some other places.
Overall I would recommend this to others, and will likely return in the future.
Our first time at PF Changs for our son’s birthday and it was phenomenal! Food was amazing, service was great and we felt so welcomed and well looked after. Son was overwhelmed by the attentiveness and the bonus dessert. Thank you for making it a great day for him! We will definitely be back!
First time here. Enjoyed the Mongolian Beef a lot. Shared two entrees with a friend and found there to be plenty of food. Our waiter was very good and helpful. Would definitely revisit to try more items from the menu.
It was obvious the server made a mistake with the timing of our order. He did not apologize or rectify the situation. Our appetizers were to come with the meal, however they came early and cold. The main course was then 30 minutes later. No one checked on us the entire time we were waiting. The noodle dishes were mediocre. My husband equated his low main dish to food court quality
Hot and sour soup was good.
Chicken dish was okay nothing special for the price.
Spring rolls were great.
Great service. Quiet ambience as they had just reopened dining room. Probably not their fault but soy sauce packets seemed tacky for classy restaurant but I understand due to the restrictions in place.
Will come back.
It was our second time coming in here, and it was less busy than usual. We were the first customers of the day, and they let us sit anywhere we would like. We ordered the VIP duck, and it was superb! Also decided to order the mongolian beef and the chili garlic green beans. The beef was very tender, and the beans were cooked perfectly. Would definitely come back here again!
