Loved it and can't wait to try it for dinner!
Delicious salads! But weird combos with pork in far too many dishes. Pasta portions look small. Raviolo was a small portion with no colour, no veg and dry inside, except for unexpected soft egg yolk inside . Pizza looks good but crust edge far too big: not much space for cheese/topping (good part).
Sea bass very good. Excellent and pleasant service. Nice vibe.
My son recommended this restaurant to me and I was not disappointed.
Everything was delicious, great service.
I would not recommend Piano Piano for lunch. The lunch menu is limited and the portions are very small. While they do offer a lunch special, the value is lacking based on the portion size.
The dinner menu, however, offers greater variety, and the portion size is much more generous. Therefore, I would consider recommending for dinner, but definitely not for lunch.
Amazing food and wine service, thank you
Great service, was able to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets.
The only disappointment of the meal was that it is an Italian restaurant and there is no bread basket. I guess that bread baskets are not a thing at fancy Italian restaurants?
My family and I went to Piano Piano to celebrate my graduation and we thought it was excellent. Especially loved the egg white ravioli and the prosciutto appetizer. Staff were very professional! Thank you
The high quality selection of lunch offerings at Piano Piano combined with their reasonably priced prix fixe menu can't be beat. Add excellent service and and ambiance and this gem is tremendous!
Not on the lunch menu. The place is great. The food is AOK. Not a patch on the Can Can.
Food was incredible. Great cocktails. Veal parm, burrata and any pizza are a must.
We were very excited about eating here and it didn’t disappoint. The food was great however, it took a very long time to get our pizza and pasta order. Over 30 min long! Other than the wait, everything else was great.
Always good food and service,
Yummu pizza, hanger steak, soft I’ve cream
Disappointing. Us: What do you recommend? Waiter: everything. Uh oh. Any hype re this place unwarranted. The owners so impressed with themselves they forgot about food and service. Starters fine. Mains serviceable. Sides came late and weren’t cooked. Wines available by the glass were poor. Service uneven. Keep working at it Piano Piano and keep your humility about you or the padlocks will come out before you know it.
I had a very nice time and very good food at Piano Piano. However, I as the evening went on I did find it too noisy to enjoy a conversation. The waiter kindly turned the music down a bit when I asked.
Fantastic visit. As casual or fancy as you want it to be. Very welcoming staff, excellent food and a great vibe. Beautiful interior as well.
Great dining experience. The food and service were A++. Next time I'd prefer to be given the choice of a private table along the periphery of the dining room, versus one of the shared tables in the middle.
Piano Piano was a great dining experience for family. We arrived at opening for an early dinner with my infant and there was no hesitation from staff to get her a high chair and her own menu and meal. During my daughter’s freak out, staff were calm and pleasant while my husband and I tried to do everything we could to calm her down. We had an appetizer (calamari fritti), pasta special and a pizza (Spicoli) and everything was exceptional. Service was attentive and polite. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and hopefully with a more relaxed baby.
Excellent service from the moment we walked into the restaurant. We arrived early with no problem to be seated immediately. We’re welcomed with two glasses of Prosecco because we were celebrating our anniversary what a nice surprise. The menu is creative and tells the story which adds to the ambiance of the dinner experience.: Our server and the team were excellent and just available as needed they never Hubbard but we’re always available If we needed anything. The calamari was phenomenal and the pizzas were excellent. The evening was topped off with great desserts including a lemon cheesecake tartufo. We will definitely be back
After hearing everyone recommend this place, I finally was able to try it after a long online reservation booking wait. The ambiance was more modern than I expected, not as cozy or family as I thought it would be, although it was definitely family-friendly there. I was really pleased by the quality of the food and how well everything was done. I came with two very picky eaters with dietery restrictions and overall we were all very happy with the food and service. If this place wasn't so hard to get a reservation at, I would be coming back more often. Was very pleased with the restaurant experience!
Food was great. Service was friendly and quick. Solid food, staff, service. Never disappoints.
We loved the whole experience from food, service, and decor. Will be coming back.
Great for celebrations. Very knowledgable servers. Excellent experience!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and try some other things on the menu.
Made the reservation ages ago and the host seemed to have some problem with our reservation at the outset as it took a while to be seated. When we were seated, we were placed at a four top and there were 5 of us. It was a very tight and awkward fit. We tried to get another two top so we could fit everyone more comfortably, but were told to simply turn the tables to create more room. Needless to say, this did nothing. The host was unaccommodating and rude about this and seemed to be annoyed that we were asking for additional space for our full party - the reservation was always for 5 people. Most of the food was fine, but two of us had the ravioli bolognese and it was incredibly bland - the food was definitely not worth the price.
Our server on the other hand was absolutely phenomenal and went above and beyond. My partner and I were there celebrating our recent marriage and our server brought out complimentary Prosecco and put a sparkler in our tiramisu. She was attentive, very fast and just charming all around. She was the highlight of our dining experience at Piano Piano.
Good to try out, service can be improved, we had empty beverages alcoholic and water for the longest time and instead of people coming by to ask if we want another they kept wanting to take our unfinished dishes of food away.
For the price paid, I would had expected better service. Food was good but underwhelming for price paid.
Great atmosphere and decor though
👍👍👍 good service, food was good!!
The male waiter I had was not good. Albeit knowledgeable, waited 15 minutes to order a drink and takes almost another 10 mins to get the drink. Recommendations were good but just not attentive as our previous experience there. Was enough to tick me off.
Wonderful place. AMAZING PASTA. Lively ambience and energy.
Delicious pasta and pizza, very good salads.
We ordered a glass of wine and twice and had to ask for it a third time because they still forgot. Also, the starters came and the same time as the main dish, not before.
So all in all the food is great but the service can be improved.
Got the Bodega pizza, which was a huge mistake. Was told it was very popular so decided to take the risk, but should have got something more classic and am surprised they sell something like this. It was a pizza that is inspired by submarine sandwiches and has like... sub sauce instead of pizza sauce. Some salami and mortadella (that was what sold me). But then it is topped with mayonnaise and iceberg lettuce. I though it'd be a bit of iceberg but it was COVERED in lettuce. The first few bites were interesting but it was so so so rich and honestly pretty gross. Maybe it would work better as an appetizer but as a whole pizza it was a no go. Plus they make you slice the pizza with scissors which is honestly kind of gross. Like performing an operation on the pizza, or cutting open a cast. That said, the service was absolutely great. Super friendly, super attentive. Also had a nice cocktail and wine. But pretty disappointed by the food.
Friendly staff and great food. Recommended!
We were at Piano Piano for a late lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service and food was great, we will be back
This was our second visit. The first time was great, but this time around the food was just so-so, and the service was horrendous. Our server was distracted while taking our order, and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times simply because he wasn't listening. When he took our appetizer plates away, my wife's fork was on hers, and he failed to remove it or replace it. After getting tired of waiting for someone to come by so we could ask for a new fork, I went up and got one myself from the storage drawer. No one seemed to care or notice.
We got the Burratta and Calamari to start, and they were great. The appetizers came out quickly, but there was a long wait for our mains. The "Fun Guy" pizza and the Canestri alla Vodka were just ok, with the toppings on the pizza too sparse and spread haphazardly, leaving a huge chunk of empty crust in one corner. I understand that this style of pizza has huge crusts, but this corner was really bad.
Even though the food was ok, the absent-minded service made us leave with a bad taste in our mouths.
Great place. Took all three of my kids. Food was great and staff was super friendly.
I love this place! I've been a bunch of times and it never disappoints.
My wife birthday
the food was excellent, altho a bit oily. the noise was horrendous, and we weren't sitting under the ceiling speakers. you cant hear without shouting, and for 4 people that would be awful. i won't go there again because of the noise.
