Aaron and Ryan were great servers and made the night special. Friendly service, very tasty food (lasagna!!!!) and their Valentine’s Special was freat value. We would recommend this restaurent foor date night!

Service was a bit slow. Got a sense that they were short staffed. When the server did arrive, very attentive, personable. Noticed that every time the front door opened that there was a cold blast that came towards our table. My date had a shawl over her shoulders to ward off the chill. Perhaps they could install some sort of temporary vestibule wall deflector to keep the cold air from coming so far in for the winter months. Pointed out a lovely cobweb in the corner on the wall near our table. ;) As always, the food was wonderful! Another great Piato meal

The food was good but the service is not great. I found it strange, that no one was serving the food amd drinks on trays. I found it unhygienic to have someone serve a plate with there fingers on the inside of my plate. We also asked for lime with our large bottle of water. We received two limes, I would have liked more but didn't bother to ask. The waitress also served the glass with her hand over the glass, if there was any dirt on her hands it would gone into the glass. I noticed they were all serving the same way, they were not properly trained. It is unfortunate, because the food was good but I would be hard pressed to go back again.

I ate at Piatto in Halifax for a while and the food had always exceptional quality. The food in Charlottetown was cold, the pizza barely had cheese on it and I can pretty much say we only had pizza dough with tomate sauce. The whine is served in a huge water glass, which doesn't make sense at all either.

Revisited after five years. Both pizzas skimped on toppings and could have been in oven another 60-90 seconds. Dough was not crisp. Local singer-guitarist was super loud, and that was with us sitting in another room. Disappointing return.

Absolutely love eating at Piatto! However, was disappointed in the Cesar salad as it consisted mostly of ribs and not leaves. The dressing is pretty awesome. Pizzas never disappoint.

We ate outside on a cool summer evening and glad because there was live music inside as it was a Friday, and it was very loud and conversation would have been impossible. Great service, delicious pizza and we had 7 different ones! Plus drinks. A great place with great pizza!!

Piatto has a winning formula, and the Charlottetown franchise does most things well. The food is predictably very good, the wine list is admirable, and the service is close to impeccable. It’s a very efficient place with a consistently high level of quality. The night we were there, the obviously short-staffed team adapted and kept their cool. One piece of advice for the door: do not let people with reservations languish while spending 15 or 20 minutes accommodating walk-ins. First impressions are everything.

The pizzas are over priced for what you get. They were quite stingy with the toppings. I ordered one that had pineapple, I got 6 little pieces on my 11 inch pizza. Toppings started 1/2 into the middle and were sparse. Would not go back.

Great gluten free pizza. Just wish the toppings made it further to the outside of the pizza and we’re a bit more robust. But delicious in flavour. Lovely place if you are craving pizza.

This sort of pizza takes about 2 minutes to cook but after an hour the pizza showed up with one of them being burnt. They remade another and came within 2 minutes. The party next to us also complained about the extreme wait (1hour) and another party got their pizza after an hour but had to remind the server they also ordered bruschetta as an appetizer which then arrived within 5 minutes. Our pasta arrived before the pizza but they forgot about the ciabatta bread that was to accompany and when noted to server, nothing was done. We requested fresh pepper for our food (we could see the grinder by the pass) but instead the server went to the bar and poured pepper from the bar “shaker” into a plastic cup for us to use. I took a picture as it was quite comical. Table next to us got the real pepper shaker though with their food but the cook served them their food (not a server) Then to drinks….after ordering we had to remind server 10 minutes later for our drinks which she noted she forgot. We waited that long for drinks as It took 10 minutes just to get her attention. We also had appetizers prior and when they brought the mains they just shoved around the empty appetizer plates even though we suggested it would be better to just take away the old dishes that were there for 30 minutes. This was not from lack of staff that there was poor service as there was numerous staff “chillin” by the bar or near the back pizza oven. Overall the food was good but believe a manager would have seen the general despair of the restaurant from the service.
