    Stunning place to eat. I’m quite fussy when it comes to Spaghetti Carbonara but this one is definitely in the top 3. Lovely accommodating staff. Very friendly. Would definitely go back.

    Excellent food - the restaurant staff were friendly however very busy and service was slow and less attentive as could be. The noise level for being full made it difficult to hear the staff and each other!

    Always good dining at Picollino. Service was attentive and polite. My wife had the seafood risotto which she enjoyed. I had the filet medallions done medium. One medallion was a bit tough to cut and a bit chewy whilst the second was perfectly tender, peppercorn sauce was great.

    Could smell mould when we walked in. It was around all the door frames. Food was ok, nothing particularly groundbreaking. The spaghetti bolognese portion was huge, but the sauce was extremely watered down and flavourless. Upon arriving we were also told they were sold out of chicken, lamb and they had no ravioli. Quite expensive for a mediocre meal at best.

    Our first time dining at Piccolino, and we had a great time! We brought my partners sister for her 18th birthday, and each got a complimentary glass of Prosecco when we arrived. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and in general the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere.

    Nice place, service food etc but not sure if it's us but it was very dark and noise level effected the whole meal, we couldn't hear the waiter and we couldn't hear each other so conversation was difficult, luckily we were only there for a short time as off to a concert - assume it must have something to do with the ceiling height and an open kitchen.

    Went for family lunch - considering how picky most of my family are they all loved the food and were spoilt for choice. There is was so much variety on the menu and the mocktails were delicious.

    It was excellent. A very good menu and the food was beautifully served by members of staff who were friendly and very professional. We are regular visitors to Piccolino and will remain so. We tend to visit prior to attending Symphony Hall concerts and find it a very relaxing start to the evening.

    Lovely food and great friendly service- The only complaint I had was my dessert which was served on a plate with 2 Chips !! - When I told the waitress she immediately got me another desert on a chip free plate - Surely the person who prepared the deserts would have noticed 2 chips on the plate . I noticed them immediately even without my glasses on as they were quite large

    I had an issue with the allergy menu as I had used the QR code and referred to this as suggested by the server. I order the chocolotinis as this stated that it had no nuts or peanuts and was only 1 of 2 choices off the desserts that was suitable. I also told my server that I had an allergy to nuts and they allowed me to order it. When they set it in front of me the new waiter, a very young lad, told the table that the chocolotinis were not suitable for the person on the table with the nut alllergy. When o spoke to a higher manager they stated that they had updated the recipe. However, they had not updated the allergy information accessible to customers. This breaches Natasha’s law. There was no apology for this and I was made to feel that it was my fault for ordering something that was not suitable when the allergen information stated it was. Very disappointing and wanted to raise this to ensure that the allergen menu is updated. It was only because of the younger member of staff that I didn’t eat the dessert. I have a severe anaphylactic reaction to all nuts.

    We stopped going for a couple of months because the food and service wasn’t great but,we had dropped on a busy Saturday night with no booking. Last night I actually called the manager over to commend the staff who, we’re not only attentive and very accommodating but great fun too. The food was excellent which is why we went again after going to lunch the day before when, the pasta was also cooked perfectly too. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks guys, see you soon

    Great food, so tasty, full of flavour, good service, our water was given to the table next to us instead of ours so we had to ask for it again, table next to us was quite rowdy which ruined the ambience slightly. All in all would definitely go again, maybe request to sit on a slightly larger table, table for 2 had minimal space for the dishes we had.
