    We visited for the first time as part of the celebrations during my daughter's hen weekend following a recommendation. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the drinks, proper cocktails too. The atmosphere was great too. Really enjoyed it and will be back.

    If I could give 0 stars... it suppose to be an Italian cuisine but was far far away from Italian taste and quality. When I noticed in menu pasta carbonara made from cream I already knew it will be a fiasco. I ordered pasta with grilled chicken, seasonal veggies and Italian cheese.. and I've never tried something that bland and tasteless. Chicken was boild, not grilled, vegetables like for kids - carrots and some broccoli, cream or "sauce" looked like milk and cheese... garted parmesan stank like old dirty floor cloth. Food was terrible and atmosphere around.. I thought I will spend nice anniversary evening but I didn't even hear my partner because of screams and loudy chats drunken people. Piccolino looked like cosy and fancy Italian nest on the middle of Chester but it's only another British pub. Never again.

    Hi Karo Yes we are an Italian restaurant and we do our very best to be authentic, However you are mentioning Carbonara with cream, yes it is with cream because the majority of our clientele like it that way, we are also able to do without cream so it was just very simple to ask our waitress. The second pasta you are mentioning is casarecce con pollo which is our most popular dish that does not receive bad comments, maybe it wasn't to your preference. Atmosphere was very frizz last night and the rest of the customers were enjoying themselves and i found it disrespectful calling others drunk. Again we are An Italian restaurant and we do also have a lot of respect for the British Pubs which in my opinion are the best in the world. I wish you and your family a wonderful day.

    Great birthday dinner for my daughter, exceptional service and lovely food. It was timely and tasty. Daughter enjoyed it immensely and was even surprised with a small birthday cake and candle at the end of the meal by the staff.

    The restaurant was empty and as soon as 20 men walk in the placed them right next to us for some reason. The carbonara was very average but the atmosphere was as good and we generally had a good experience

    We really love Piccolinos, last night was a let down as it was race day in Chester which brings a great atmosphere normally, however we were sat in a window seat and a race goer was sick outside whilst sat on one of the Piccolinos chairs which was directly in front of the wife who unfortunately witnessed the whole thing. She complained to be told it was being dealt with, but the staff member didn’t apologise for the incident. Unfortunately the wife never finishedher meal and this really upset our evening. I think the chairs should be removed after 7pm to stop this occurring again.

    Eventhough i wrote a note that this will be a birthday celebration they gave us a very bad table we cpuldnt even sit face to face. We waited them to bring tap water for a long time.I ate risotto but it is the worst one i ate rice was too raw unfortunately.

    Disappointing starters. Two of the Calamari’s were a little tough, these were taken off the bill. One main of Veal was, again a little tough & tasteless.

    We had a £75 voucher to spend at the restaurant and I was looking forward to attending. On arrival we were greeted in a pretty cold and unfriendly manor before being taken to our table. The restaurant was extremely warm with the air conditioning set to 26 degrees. We noticed another table also asking for this to be turned down and the manager seemed very reluctant to. The food was okay but the portion was really small for the prices we paid. Overall we were pretty disappointed with the experience and wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back again.

    We 💕 love this amazing restaurant the staff are amazing 5 star ⭐️ and the food is also amazing 5 star ⭐️. We decided to take our friends here last night a bit of a late booking but they managed to fit us in and one of our friends commented on after having the lasagna it was the best one he had ever had . I always have the salmon pasta it’s my favourite thing . The Garlic bread is gorgeous. Absolutely love this restaurant. Thank you .

    Nice table and lighting. Good food I had the brochette with tomatoes and basil it was a big portion and plenty flavour. Had half a roast chicken had lots of Italian seasoning. Very tender. Had a bottle of the House champagne, just light and bubbly. £62. I would recommend. Staff always friendly

    Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, had to wait to be be sat an a table just in what was virtually a corridor, asked to move and was given another table but so close to other dinners, don’t want to say much about the food only I was ill during the night. Not a great experience but it was a celebration and they did give a free birthday cake. Just unfortunate

    It was a lovely evening. I booked for mine and my husbands 2nd Anniversary. Fantastic food, lovely service. It was a very busy/full restaurant and so was too loud for my liking, but can't be helped I suppose just shows how popular it is.
