Really changed in the last 18months. waitresses in jeans and stuffy t-shirts now, slow service. toilet downstairs wasn’t very nice and scruffy looking. marks on the walls where our table was. lot of items removed from the menu and clientele changed drastically. baseball caps, trainers and jeans now. we were well overdressed with nice clothes and shoes on. Absolutely freezing in there too, no heating on and door wide open the whole time. food getting cold quickly it was that cold. no wonder it was pretty dead in there. won’t be going back

Relaxed dining in a good atmosphere with excellent and smiley service. Oh yes, the food was good too. Kept it simple, pasta dishes, but both were very good and tasty.

I’ve been to Piccolinos many times and it is a really nice restaurant. This time was for my son’s birthday. The service was very good but sadly a lot of what we wanted was unavailable / out of stock - no roast dinner, no crab for one of the pasta dishes, no rosemary and sea salt garlic bread (though they did do a more stodgy focaccia version), no Moretti on draft. Despite that, the food we did have was excellent. Afterwards, we were given the desserts menu and whilst they would have been nice, the prices were pretty high. Used to pay about £6-£6.50 not that long ago but now mostly £8.75. I know it’s not massive but when you are paying for 6, it adds up. Would definitely go back though as still a great restaurant.

Lovely meal- thank you for saving us a terrace table as it’s so much more peaceful outside. Service was good . Think the menu could do a bit of tweaking but we had a lovely evening.

Great service and ambience. Fell short on only having one grain fed steak left! (we wanted two). Ive been going here since it has opened and I'm pleased to day that 'Pics' is back on its game. Highly recommended
