   Pierpont's is a really beautiful restaurant in an historic rail station. The food was delicious, the service attentive, and the ambiance was great. Have been to brunch twice now and totally recommend.

   The food was awesome! The service not so much. Order of Oysters was wrong - twice,nothing came with the right silverware - no oyster fork, no soup spoon. Server took away our meal without even checking if we were done. For a high end restaurant, disappointing service - they were not even busy!

    I tried to write about my experience in a story format, but I ran out, so I will get to the point. The first unpleasant thing was that we were seated by a couple of people who talked so loud. It was as if they had no care for if the other people around them could hear Their own personal conversations I heard about a nanny a farm Chick-fil-A some cows and I’m hard of hearing and I heard all of that. I was so thankful when they received their food so that they could finally shut up about their weird life. I when soup and salad came out we didn’t receive utensils. We had a steak knife because we had ordered steak but no other utensils so we had to wait several minutes to get a fork. We also had to wait several minutes in order to even place the soup and salad order along with our regular order which we just did at one time so we wouldn’t have to wait. When the steaks came out, my boyfriend hadn’t received a fork not without asking we had to ask for every little thing with the exception of water and for the amount of money that this establishment charges for a meal you would think you could get basic service. I tried my best to think that this wasn’t a racial thing as the other two parties this man was serving he was at their tables a lot. He was talking to them and having conversation with them a lot but we could not get a fork, a spoon our drinks or appetizers without having to ask, and I mean without prompting someone to give us service. We never get to go out due to our busy schedules and black owned businesses and I chose this place for dinner. I’m ashamed of my decision.

    First time here for a birthday dinner for my wife. They charge extra for bringing in outside desserts to the restaurant, but it is well worth it with the style, class, and service of the restaurant. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fancy night out or celebrating a special occasion.

    We were running late, but Pierpont's was more than understanding and accommodated us. We were seated by the nicest lady. Then, Antonio, the person who waited on us went above and beyond. He was extremely friendly, making great suggestions, very attentive and having a nice conversation. Pierpont's is lucky having him and the person who sat us (sorry, I didn't catch her name, but she had keys on her arm). The food just seemed to hit the spot, too. It was a "date night", so we had the caviar, oysters, martinis, salmon, and filet mignon. I don't want to sound cliche or generic, but all of it was perfectly prepared! The night was a little pricey, but the overall experience and food was well worth it. I would highly recommend Pierpont's, and can't wait for our next visit.

    We've dined here on multiple occasions. We had a TERRIBLE experience here this past year, on NYE, due to poor planning on the restaurants part. We finally gave them a chance again last evening. I was made fun of (slightly) for how my steak was requested to be prepared, the burger is no longer on the dinner menu and the lobster Mac and cheese has become less than sub par. My rating may not reflect my words as we normally do really love it, so I was slightly more generous due to that.

    Very good service from James. He was one of the best waiters in my 20 years of business dinners. The Pimento cheese was amazing along with the fried Brussel sprouts. The restaurant was a beautiful building in Union Station.

    You must try the Brussels sprouts!! Sublime. In fact if you're there on a Tuesday, you can have a fabulous meal and beverages on the all-day happy hour menu.
