They closed yesterday for cleaning without notice to customers even in Open table and Googled were showing Open. We booked a table for 3, drove all the way there and looked/ paid for parking. Walking there and they said CLOSE. Terrible experience!

Both servers were amazing - very accommodating, friendly, efficient, and personable. The ambiance and environment was spot on. Most of the food was good. The mushroom pasta really unappetizing, we had to send it back, which is not common for me to do and I hate that I even had to complain - overcooked noodles and sauce barely had taste. Servers took it back right away and we got a different dish in exchange which was wonderful and appreciated. Unfortunately, same thing happened with with drink MTL 76. Unappealing to look at, looks like apple juice and a cherry. It wasn’t cold and tasted really bad. Also sent it back and servers accommodated with a different drink order, again very appreciated. This was surprising considering I’ve been for brunch and the food and drinks were exceptional. My guests and I were well taken care of and had a wonderful night overall, thank you!

I reserved a table for 6 for a team lunch at 12, and our table wasn't ready until 12:10. We ordered promptly, but our food didn't come until 12:50, which was too late for a couple of us and we had to take it to go. Disappointing. Not only that, I paid $18 for avocado on toast, which seems ridiculous. The prices are pretty steep for what you get. A regular meal cannot be found for less than $25, but it's mostly brunch fare, so seems excessive.

Gorgeous food in a lovely restaurant. The 2 servers were so kind and helpful with any queries. We had cocktails and dinner, every meal was fabulous. One of us requested a modification of a drink and it was changed no questions asked. Would highly recommend for a pre theatre dinner with friends!

Our first time visit to Pigeon for a casual pre-theatre dinner was very pleasant. The service was prompt and friendly, the venue is fun under the big Benjie tree and my burger was very juicy and tasty. Love the waffle fries too. We will definitely return.

The place was aesthetically pleasing, we had made reservations and instantly we were placed to sit , no waiting for that which was good! It gets pretty busy! When ordering do not wait just order everything all at once . I made the mistake of ordering drinks and we didn’t see our waiter we had to call down another waiter to make our order. When we ordered our food we had seen a few people that came long after us order and got their food before my table . Then everyone got their food and my toddler didn’t receive his pancakes till we were all done and ate our food then they asked if we still wanted it was the longest wait time and not worth waiting the food was good but they would have got zero stars if the food came out just okay !!

We waited over an hour for our food. When I was finally able to flag down our waitress she returned to say that there "had been a problem in the kitchen with our order". No kidding. My salmon arrived overcooked and looking as if it had sat under the heat lamp for 30 minutes. Worst experience in a decade of restaurants. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else. Anywhere else.

A lovely meal at Pigeon, the restaurant was hopping! Service was courteous but very slow, only 2 waiters for the entire front section. Food was delicious, strongly recomment the tiramisu and the creme Brulee

Terrible service, we waited 15 mins from when we were seated for a server to offer us drinks. We asked for drinks and water , we received our drinks but still no water. We had to ask for water three times and waited over 30mins for water.

The food was ok, just like any other downtown breakfast place, nothing special. The service was really bad. The table was not set. We had to ask a couple times for cutlery or enough glasses for water. It took about 30 minutes before we placed our orders, we had all well finished our coffees before someone came to take our order. It is also a very crammed space and you have to kind of bob and weave around tables and chairs which is a little uncomfortable.

The room itself is lovely and very comfortable. Our one complaint was the noise level. The room was packed but the music was much too loud for a brunch crowd. If your server and you can't hear each other then the volume needs to come DOWN. Our server was very nice but he definitely wasn't the most experienced. The food overall was excellent - my complaint is that my food was not hot enough - I suspect it had been sitting waiting for other members of my party to have their food delivered at the same time. It was very tasty but needed to be hotter. Overall value was very good - small complaint - cup of coffee was $4 and I was never even asked if I'd like a refill - I know that restaurants are cutting back but at least one refill should be offered. We do plan on going back and would recommend it to others but the music volume really needs to come down - I don't think that I should have to shout across the table in order to be heard - it was Saturday morning not Saturday night!

We had the Salmon Tartare and Pigs in a Blanket as appetizers and both were very tasty. I enjoyed the Pigeon Salad and my husband had the Chicken Schnitzel bun-with. Portions were very generous and the food was delicious. Wait staff was attentive and very helpful. Nice atmosphere.

Found plastic in my food. Service was mediocre. Said they would reorder the same meal to go and ended up with the half eaten food I found the plastic in when I got home. It’s pretty inside though.

We waited 40 minutes for our food (2 bowls of soup). The table next to us had to leave before they got their food. Considering two theatres are nearby the staff needs to be aware that most of the evening clientele have time constraints.

Had a reservation for 6:15pm to make an 8pm show. Food never made it to the table so we asked for the drink bill. The waitress was more than apologetic and comped our drinks. It seemed that there were only two people working the kitchen. If you’re going to a show, maybe look elsewhere.

The sautéed mushrooms on the omelette was rather salty. Apart from that, it was a fantastic experience.

It took over an hour for our food to be delivered. The excuse was that someone in our party ordered their burger medium-well. They gave us an order of brussels sprouts on the house while we waited, but that also took 15 minutes to arrive. Our server started out being friendly, but by the end of the night, he clearly didn't want to have to deal with us. We also overheard at least 2 other tables complain about their food, service, etc.

The last time I went, I had ordered the sea-bream, and side was stir fried mini tomatoes & herbs……And it was delicious. This time however the sea-bream was terrible …. I received the tail end of the fish with lots & lots of bone. In addition, the accompanying side was the worst ….. primarily olives with what tasted like tomato paste. The manager was very nice and reduce my charge by 50%. I hope to try again to see if this was a one time incident……. Hopefully it will be the same as my first time.

Burger order took too long over 1 hour. Had a theatre show appointment so had to cancel order and leave even though had arrived 1hr 30 minutes prior. Many wait staff but kitchen was too slow. 45 minutes before we had to leave we prompted the waitress and told her of our time limitations. The appetizer s and one salmon meal which were received were good. Poor management but good food.
