   My wife ordered the goat curry which I would categorize as good. I ordered the lamb burger which was delicious! We plan to return to try some of the other entrees.

   Had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at Pimenta. The food and drinks were outstanding - we ordered from their special Valentine’s menu and were not disappointed. Conch fritters were the favorite dish of the night. Looking forward to going back.

   Food is absolutely phenomenal. Service was extremely friendly but extremely slow. They really need to work on their speed of service in order to keep customers coming back in. Again, the food is phenomenal. Each dish is prepared fresh and the tastes are all extraordinary! Took 15 minutes to take the initial drink and appetizer order. For management, the industry rule of thumb is 2 minutes to greet a table and take a drink order if they are ready (this gets them drinking and gets the cash register flowing). Drinks should be on the table within 5 minutes and then take the appetizer order if you didn't already do that. Drinks arrived one at a time after we had been there for 30 minutes - and they were not busy at all. Most of the tables were empty. We were there for 90 minutes before they took the order for our main course. Again, the food and the flavors were amazing and they all were very friendly - just way too slow. Planned for an hour and 15 minutes, but it was greater than a 3 hour dinner with just appetizers and the main course. Skipped dessert because everything was going too slowly.

   We wanted a relax and casual environment to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. This was the perfect choice. The food was great, the atmosphere inviting and the service exceptional. It's definitely on our list of places to dine

   Had read about Pimenta and wanted to try out some of there dishes. When we arrived it was quiet and we sat in the back of the restaurant. We enjoyed Rain who was our Server. She was very helpful and courteous. As the restaurant became busier, she was the only server so that made our dining last a lot longer than needed to be. However, overall, we enjoyed our dining experience and will return again. Fredericksburg is a fantastic little town with loads of Antique Shops and wonderful eateries.

    We went for a friends birthday dinner and it was amazing. The food was so good and the staff made sure that we felt very special. Would recommend and we will be back!

    Three or four of the items we were interested in ordering were not available. Our waitress suggested that we order the eggrolls as an appetizer so we did but they were greasy. The Mojito‘s tasted like seltzer water and rum with none of the traditional Mojito flavorings although they were very nicely decorated. Our entrées were cold when they arrived but the plantains were tasty. Our waitress cleared the table of everything, including our waters and our unfinished Mojitos, and proceeded to spray down the table before we even received our check. Definitely will not be returning here.

    So glad we stumbled across this place! The food was amazing, everything we ordered had great flavor. Staff was courteous and always made sure we were taken care of. Wonderful experience, will definitely be making a return trip in the future.

    The food was just ok. Severs tried, but needed prompting for things like napkins and plates for appetizers. Also daily special menu was given out , but things were not available. It’s wast just ok. Food was bland for a Caribbean place. It was hot inside. Not sure if AC was working

    We dined at Pimenta for restaurant week and it was delicious. We had the stewed jerk pork, rice and peas and cabbage for one of us and Mac n cheese and cabbage for the other. We also had the vegetable fried rice with vegan chicken. Everything was plentiful (we took some home) and hot. The flavor was just the right amount of spice. Our waitress was very nice. A wonderful experience all around.

    It was our first time there and my wife and I absolutely loved it. Food was outstanding and the servers were excellent. I will tell many of my friends in this area to make sure they patronize that establishment.

    This was the second time I came here and the food came much quicker then the first time I went which was very nice. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Everyone in my group rated the food over 8/10.

    Never had Jamaican cuisine before, thought the taste was great! Wasn’t expecting there to be band practice in the back, which was pretty loud, but the great service made up for it. Would go back, but maybe not on a Friday night.

    The food is delicious. The jerk shrimp and jerk chicken are very flavorful. Entrees are served with sides of your choice. The fried plaintains and the macaroni and cheese are a must!

    Normally I would give Pimenta 5 stars but I think they were a bit busy due to Mother's Day..the food wasn't as seasoned as it usually is. Had the Curry Goat and cabbage, it was still good but needed some salt and pepper.

    The food was great and servers were really nice. It was a Friday night and very busy and only two people working the tables, it took an hour before we got our meal but we weren’t in a rush. One of the owners, the wife, stopped at our table to share the history of the recipes. This was an excellent personal touch that also helped to calm us during our long wait! Note: we have been here several times and never had a wait like we recently had so I think it was a rare occurrence.

    Great food. Good lunch! Went back with 4 for dinner. Absolutely worst service from the owner / manager / cashier / waitress - multi tasking Delicious rum punch as sat down the nightmare began Waitress came to get order the multitasking person pushed her out of way then some trouble with iPad It took two hours to get appetizers after several times asking.. Finally got Jamaican beef patties were freshly made tasty and spiced perfectly Desperate for water refill. Finally after 30 minutes Then no round of drinks came 3 hours dinner served Delicious shrimp curry dish ok mamas chicken jerk and ok sandwich Finally asked for check and many issues - then charged for drinks didn’t get. Finally finally all paid and left The limited on street parking The owners new Mercedes parked in front of restaurant taking a spot meant for customers Take out only to get the yummy food

    We ended up here on a Saturday night because everywhere else in town had 2+ hour wait times. It did not disappoint! Food was great. Drinks were strong. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

    The restaurant is nice and cozy. The food was good. The service could be improved, server seemed to be upset the whole time and we were randomly advertised an event space they have there, uncalled for. Also server shouted from the register how we wanted the check, not great. The food saved the day
