Bon restaurant si vous désirez manger du homard, le choix est là! En général, bon restaurant, paisible. Petit points à améliorer: - les couteaux de mer contenaient du sable - pétoncles superbes au niveau de cuisson mais la sauce trop sucré manque d'acidité - ravioli, super bon, mais très salés Merci :)

Nous sommes souvent venus à Pincette en couple pour plusieurs occasions et nous avons toujours adoré notre experience. La soirée hier nous a un peu déçue. Notre serveuse n’était pas toujours attentive et elle s’est trompée dans notre commande sur un des deux plats. Au lieu de laisser le plat à mon conjoint elle est repartie avec les deux plats et nous avons attendu quelques temps avant d’avoir nos deux plats commandés. Mon conjoint avait pris un homard complet et son assiette est arrivée froide (comme si elle avait été laissé sur un comptoir) nous ne voulons pas gaspiller de la nourriture alors nous n’avons rien dit. Mais tout était froid, y compris ses frites. Pour une assiette de plus de 70$ nous étions déçus. Nous avions une grosse facture à la fin (une bouteille de chablis, un homard entier et un risotto) et nous sommes repartis déçus de notre expérience. Nous espérons que c’était juste un peu de malchance et nous essaierons de revenir dans quelques temps. Cordialement

Excellent casual lobster restaurant in Old Montreal. The food was outstanding, the space was charming, and prices were very reasonable for a restaurant where lobster is the star of the menu. One of the best, if not the best, places we ate during a long weekend in Montreal.

The food was very good, we took the tuna tataki and the scallops for appetizer. The scallops were delicious i highly recommend, the sauce was amazing. After that we took the salmon and the lobster that was a little bit overcook but still very good. I suggest that you ask if you want you food a little more rare. Our waiter Antoine did an amazing job, the service was impeccable. Overall it was a very good experience.

We were expecting much better food from a seafood specialist restaurant. We may have selected the wrong dishes as they were not very exciting. It was somehow a disappointment as taste is concerned although the plates were plentiful. Wine by the glass was fine and service was quite busy. In fact, we never received the dessert we ordered despite waiting quite long for it! Altogether, we have to rate low the quality vs price of our dinner.

My party and I booked this restaurant with anticipation to eat authentic and delicious lobster at a higher-scaled restaurant as we are from the West Coast of Canada. The best part of our experience was the service we received, it was outstanding! Our waiter (unfortunately forgot his name!) was very kind, funny, and passionate about his job! He always ensured our glasses were full and dirty dishes were out of our way. He aptly responded to our complaints and refunded one of our meals. The highlight dish for us all was the lobster tail risotto, very delicious! As well, the half lobster with fries and salad was very good, just slightly cold upon arrival. What did not work for us was that despite the praising and positive reviews we have read for Pincette and it being a higher-scaled restaurant, the food and atmosphere fell flat. We had an odd number of people at our table, so someone had to sit on the end of the table, making it quite squishy and hard to have intimate and lively conversations, it would have been nice to have a larger table. Our table was also right by the front door, so the traffic of people was a bit annoying for us. One of our meals did not come out with the rest of them, so this person unfortunately had to wait an upwards of 5 minutes before they could start eating (this was the meal that was comp'd by our waiter, so they rectified the situation promptly). The lobster for some was slightly overdone, making it rubbery in texture, and we wished it was a bit more seasoned. Each of us spent approx. $50/person, so we came to spend, but the atmosphere fell flat. We would recommend Pincette for the service, but we expected a bit more of a classier experience from this restaurant.

Wanted to love it here. Staff was very nice but unfortunately the food was terrible. Soggy fries, overdressed, soggy salad and the half lobsters were dry and tasteless. Oysters and lobster roll were good. We weren’t given anything to wash our hands after we were done with the lobsters. Expensive for what it was. Disappointing.

Parfait pour un lobster roll en avant spectacle du Cirque du soleil ! Les prix sont élévés parce qu'au coeur de la zone touristique vieux-port/vieux Montréal. Reste que 32 $ CAD pour un lobster roll, ce n'est pas 32 $ US à Gougounnequit! Perso, c'est toujours le prix des consommations (alcool) que je trouve complètement démesuré; "c'est pour payé le permis d'alcool : man! y doit être cher le permis !! " Pincette j'y retournerais ce soir tellement le service et la nourriture était de qualité. Miam;)

J'y allais pour le homard que l'on m'avait recommandé. Demi homard tout petit (et je ne suis pas une grosse mangeuse) et assez cher. Commandé en second des accras de morue pour compléter mon dîner. Beaucoup trop frits, secs et trop salés. Fais remarquer au serveur qui n'a pas apprécié ma remarque... Terrasse avec chaises inconfortables. Bref, piège à touristes, hélas

Nous avons aimé tout ce qu'on a commandé, mojito aux fruits de la passion, huîtres, accra de morues, poutine au homard et crabe, mousse au chocolat, cappuccino, puis le service était excellent, beau décor, en bas avant d'arriver aux toilettes, il y a un salon pour relaxer, jaser, jouer au échecs, vous pouvez prendre votre café et dessert là pour finir votre repas. J'ai hâte d'y retourner.

Service was excellent, but according to the price level the food should be improved: the shrimp cocktail is good but could have more « caviar » on it and have fresh shrimps rather than frozen ones. Also the cheese on the risotto was too strong and is not adapted to lobster. Finally there could have been more lobster according to the price… This is a good restaurant but could be an excellent one if these issues were addressed. Price is too high for what we really get.
