Pink Taco - Chicago
I will never eat there again it was the worst food that my wife and I have ever eaten.
Awesome dinner and drinks. Server Ariel did a super job.
Service was terrible. Took forever (30 minutes) to get our drinks. Good food though
Food and prices were fantastic. The service was not. We were the first party in the restaurant and it took half an hour to get our first drink, and we got roughly one drink refill per half hour after that.
Excellent service and food
Great family dinner !
The salsa is outstanding. One of our favorite Taco Tuesday places to dine. Friendly service and atmosphere. A good value as well We recommend you give it a try.
It was a wonderful evening… We were a party of 10… They squished us in a big booth… We did feel a little squished, but otherwise the food and the ambience and everything else was wonderful and delightful and I would definitely recommend and go back again…
Great happy hour menu, great food and delicious drinks. Shortie is an awesome bartender!
The only issue I had was the fact that the restaurant ran out of lobster at 6:30 pm. For such a prominent place on the menu we felt that it was odd that they ran out at such an early time. We had to order other items off the menu that we really didn’t want.
The food and service are both fantastic. Must have everything on menu.
Great food and service. Will definitely be back!
It was kind of off-putting when we first arrived, but it was just okay.
Great atmosphere, great music, feels very exciting to be around all the people, the wait staff is
wonderful and will meet all of your needs. The design inside is very original, I love it. If you love Mexican
then this is the place to be. Wonderful food, bring your friends, you will not be disappointed.
Great vegetarian options. Excellent service.
Terrible service (worst I’ve experienced in Chicago). They were understaffed and not organized at all. Food was below average. They also use these handheld computers for payment and tipping, be careful, because the tip percentages are wrong and inflated. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are much better Mexican food options right away the corner with Mercadito and Barrio.
Horrible waitress. Took forever 45 minutes to get our food.
The Pink Taco was awesome! The atmosphere was a lot of fun, the waiter was super funny. It was pretty busy when we went but we didn't have to wait any longer than they specified and the food and drinks still came out really quickly.
The service was horrible. They got our order wrong on multiple occasions, they had us pay for food they got wrong and took forever to get our drinks. The food is good but would not return given the poor service.
Went for lunch on Xmas eve. Restaurant was empty but the staff were very attentive and cheerful. Typical Mexican American fare. I liked the salsa selections and the guacamole. Had tacos, with the chicken being the beat. Ambiance is interesting and definitely more on the socialite/ bar scene so it may not be for everyone.
Loved this restaurant! We took our 3 kids here for Christmas Eve. We all loved the colors everywhere. The pink drink is a must!
Lunch with co-workers was a nice spot. Excellent service from Kyra
For food of this quality I would say it is Definitely overpriced!
Dinner was very good. Gave 4/5 on food just because the carnitas tacos were just too salty to eat too much of it. But everything else was wonderful including the drinks. The service was amazing. I needed gluten free chips so they offered to make some shells special for me on the grill so I could have guacamole and “chips”. And the server was very good about working with me on the gluten free stuff. I felt like he took it seriously which you don’t always find. The music was enjoyable, it just wasn’t quite as “happening” as we thought it might be at 10 pm on a Saturday night. But we really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely go back.
The waiter spilled the ENTIRE jug of water on me as well as my glass of water in trying to fit too much stuff on our tiny little table. It's not that we ordered too much, there was just two of us, he was just doing too much too quickly even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. The food was okay, but not worth the amount we paid. Our other waitress was great and attentive, and the manager did come by to apologize. Overall, though, there are better more authentic taco joints in the city.
Took the waitress longer to come over, the food was pretty subpar, I had had PT at a food truck in September and they were way better, the taco shells at the restaurant were oddly chewy and the al pastor was really dry. Im not sure if we just had a bad night, but not going back there, especially for that price!
The service was fantastic. Their spicy jalapeño margaritas were fantastic. Their tacos were very tasty. The only negative was the tortillas were cold. The manager was very gracias and open to our feedback. Overall a 5 star, since he promised to improve the tacos shells.
Very subpar Mexican food. Disappointing
Love the drinks! Great decor! Tacos were ok!
Very cool place.
Chips and guacamole were good. The lobster enchiladas were great. Highly recommend. The margarita was pretty weak, think they may have forgotten the tequila. Overall I highly recommend you give it a try.
We love West Hollywood’s Pink Taco- huge fans. Pink Taco (CA and Chicago) has great food, fun atmosphere but I do prefer the ambiance in CA more. Don’t need big screen TVs and that “regular bar feel” they’re everywhere. Pink Taco is unique (esp. LA) keep that feel that’s what draws us back. Fantastic food tho and still a fun place to go
Had the carne asado and carnita tacos. The meat was good but the tacos overall were pretty dry. Thankfully we ordered the chips and salsa so had some sauce we could add to the tacos. Thought the drink and taco prices were a bit high for the quality. Our server was great!
WOW! The food was incredible. Seriously the best fajitas I’ve ever eaten. My friends ordered other dishes and they raved about those as well. Perfectly complex flavors. Also, loved that the food came out hot. I’m not a foodie and I was thinking about this meal for at least two days. SO good.
Nice set up, good space so that you are not bumping into other tables, great staff. Lobster enchiladas were delicious.
We had a very nice night! I was unsure about what to expect as far as atmosphere but we loved it. Our server was attentive throughout our meal and gave knowledgeable support when asked. The skinny margaritas were delicious and the food was fresh! Will definitely go back.
The food was good. Our server was good as well. My only problem it took awhile to bring out the food and it wasn’t busy. But they comped our dessert because it almost 20 minutes to bring out and it was only flan and churros.
Great atmosphere, great decor, but the food was average. I ordered tacos and it was nothing special. My college cafe food is better that this. The drinks were very good though.
