The entire experience was great, staff, food and drinks!
Went for restaurant week and the food was very delicious and the portions were large
Always enjoy Pisco Y Nazca. Went for restaurant week and left extremely full and satisfied.
The food was extremely mediocre, think strip mall quality.
Service was ok, the person serving seemed like they didn't want to be there and only checked in once during appetizers. We had to flag someone to get the bill.
Finally, the ambiance was lacking. Someone was hammering something so loud in the kitchen for the majority of our meal.
Food was grand and the ceviche was outstanding.
The food was very nice but the main entree .. this place is known for its ceviche it should have kept to that :) they are really excellent ! The service was not good .. waiters kept making mistakes (one of us was allergic too cilantro and even though we mentioned it as soon as we walked and the manager promised to be careful we had to send back all the dishes … very poor service, waiters not informed and not able to explain what we were eating .. too bad!
Positive note: very nice Pisco sours .. but again stick to traditional!
A favorite on the regular for their great food, drinks, and especially happy hour prices. But also a great restaurant week adventure as an excuse to try new things!
Amazing delicious food, worth returning with a bigger group
One of the lovely ladies in our group was celebrating her birthdate, you guys rockers🤤🥳
Probably because they were overwhelmed with Restaurant Week, the kitchen was overwhelmed and there was a huge gap between courses. But the service was otherwise good and the food fantastic. One of the best RW values.
Went for lunch during restaurant week, it was a great deal - 3 courses for $25!
We chose this place for the ceviche, and it did not disappoint!
Our first visit. The food and service were great. We used the Restaurant Week lunch menu. Great selections and value
A great brunch spot - will definitely be back! The prix fixe menu is a good option for a first-timer based on choices and quantity but a la carte opens the full range of Peruvian dishes.
It was our first time coming to this restaurant and we had an awesome time. The Pisco de Maracuya was excellent and the food, too. We had lucuma ice cream and pionono and both were delicious. We will definitely come again. Great job!
Fantastic all around!
The food was good. But my dessert took too long time.
I got a different meal than I ordered when I questioned the waiter he explained away why I thought I had something different than I ordered . It was disappointing and frustrating
We loved it! The restaurant is worth several visits so you can taste the many dishes, all deeply routed into Peru traditions. We loved the chupa de camarones, fried fish and arroz con mariscos a la norteña. The buenazo dessert was also great, with lucuma gelato and walnut chocolate brownie.
The manager was also fantastic and did not give up until he sorted the reward from open table for $50 that we were using. Calling the support service was of no use as the person did not know how to solve the issue, but the manager figured it out!
We loved the experience and will certainly come back!
Excellent Peruvian for!
Experience the Calamari Sampler- wonderful !
Wish they had offered plantains. 😟
But we’ll worth the culinary experience!
Service was superb!
Fun vibe, great food! Everyone shared a traditional ceviche, plancha pulpo, marisco chaufa, lomo saltado, and arroz con pollo. For dessert, we had the buenazo and the arroz con leche cheesecake. Oh, and a refreshing pisco sour. Can't wait to go back!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in DC. But last night the service was not as good as usual. It took a long time to get our order taken and they gave us the receipt before having dessert.
El mesero muy grosero muy mal hablado nos tuvimos que salir del lugar para no arruinar nuestra noche
Ceviche was outstanding! Our waitress was extremely attentive and took time to provide us several great recommendations. HH drinks were half price! Will definitely return.
The seating was in the back, which was kind of out of the way. More privacy between tables would have been nice. But overall the food and service were excellent
2nd time here in a month. Love everything about it1
Authentic and delicious Peruvian cuisine. Friendly service.
Great place to have a birthday celebration. Good vibes and great authentic Peruvian food!
I would highly recommend this as a date spot or a place to take your friends for a nice dinner! The food is delicious and the ambiance is so cool, and the drinks are very good, too.
How could the waiter be upset that he said we had to tip him 21 bucks ... he didn't give us good service anyway so we tipped him 13 bucks ... and for that reason he threw my credit card abruptly on the table and he left ... we gave him 13 dollars anyway .. he took the cold plate to the table anyway ...
As usual we had an exceptional experience at Pisco y Nazca. Being New Year’s Eve, the kitchen was understandably busy. However, the wait staff skillfully managed expectations, checked on us regularly, and ensured each course came out in a reasonable time. The DC location has proven to be just as great as the one in Kendall, and we will continue to make it a regular date-night destination.
The women servers at the bar quite disrespectful. Customer service out of the window it seems that they were not trained how to communicate with customers. If they want a good tip their attitude towards customers needs to change and be more polite.
Server Daniel on the other hand well spoken, professional and courteous.
Service was AWFUL. Our waiter was in a constant rush and lacked patience to explain us the menu. Several times he did not wear a mask (I did see many employees walking around without a mask) and made fun of us when my parents asked if Pinch or Chivas were whiskeys they had on the menu. Beverages took over 15 minutes to arrive. Whenever we asked questions, he would leave before we even finished talking. The cherry on top was that when the check came, he forced my parents to give him a 20% tip when to be honest, he deserved 0% for being extremely rude the whole time. Needless to say, I won’t be going back and DO NOT recommend this restaurant if you’re eager to try Peruvian food. Waiters are nor trained to welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
We have been there twice and have a third visit scheduled. Outstanding food and service. Sauces are perfectly spiced, not too mild or too spicy. The pulled pork has a delightful hint of vinegar and is served on fried plantains and avocado. Steaks and crispy fish are two great entrees. Desserts are outstanding but if you order an appetizer, don’t plan on eating dessert because you will be too full.
Sara was our server. She was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and even gave us suggestions for some of her favorite items. The pisco flight was delicious. We also ordered the tiger shrimp ceviche, causas sampler, and the arroz con pollo and a seafood fish for our main entrees.
I felt not welcome
No body come to my table I had to call them
Food was not at my standard no favor
My wife and I received a gift card for Christmas and decided to give this place a try sooner rather than later.
We both thought the food was great! I had the Salmon Andino and she had the Pescado A Lo Macho. Both dishes were excellent and flavorful. We also had the carne empanadas for an appetizer and they were incredible. We shared a Buenazo for dessert and it was perfect.
We look forward to going back and trying other dishes.
Everything was great! Restaurant had a classy polished look with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Bartenders provided excellent service. Their recommendations for dishes was perfect! I will definitely be joining the staff there for another wonderful experience.
Amazing as always!
Lovely restaurant, great food and staff!
Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant un midi en semaine. Le menu lunch est vraiment est bien et à un prix très intéressant de 25$
