Pizzeria Libretto Ossington
Come to Pizzeria Libretto to dine on classic and innovative Italian cuisine. This pizzeria combines creative and classic pies with fresh salads and antipasto in a simple yet delicious menu.
Pizzeria Libretto focuses on using simple, fresh and local ingredients. Start with the prosciutto di parma or the piatto grande made up of cured meats, cheeses and small bites. The caprese salad and Rocco’s summer salad, with crispy egg, chaved zucchini, endive and fennel, are fan favorites. Dine on real Neapolitan pizza, whether it's the eggplant, the Ontario prosciutto and arugula or the classic margherita D.O.P. End the experience at Pizzeria Libretto with chocolate, espresso-cinnamon or vanilla gelato.
Fantastic food and amazing service that’s prompt and friendly. I love Libretto!
Love this place. Best pizza this side of Napoli!
Yummy food, great wine options and Jack was wonderful!! Thanks
Some of the best pizza around, you'll want to make a reservation for a Fri/Sat night or you could end up waiting.
Loud, but very kind serving staff and good pizza
I reserved a table for a dinner for my girlfriend's birthday and throughout the process, the staff and manager (Anna P.) were all exceptionally kind and welcoming. Although he had disruptions with the number of people showing up throughout the week, the staff was so kind and accommodating. The staff at Libretto did everything they could to make the event even more special for my girlfriend, and we can't thank them enough.
The experience was excellent as usual. Fantastic and friendly service.
First time attending Pizzeria Libretto and can honestly say was not suitably impressed.
We advised server we had to leave at 3:15 for a play. We arrived at 1:45pm. Plenty of time.
Table of 6 people and not once were we served without us having to flag down our server.
(red hair lady).
She threw the oil on the table and didn't advise it was hot - the kids ate and were upset how hot it was. We never got offered a second round of drinks that we would have loved to have. We were completely ignored.
I told her this several times about the timing and explained that I had been clear with our cut off and in the end we end up running down the street to make the play.
Food - was out of gnocchi which was a disappointment. Out of juice for one of the kids. Low beer selection.
At the end of the day we won't be coming back that I can see.
We had an amazing time. Great food and attentive service.
Very loud great food
Great food, and very good service this time around. Our server was great. I'm sorry I can't remember her name, but she deserves kudos.
Amazing but super loud in there. Struggled to hear the person next to me
Have been many times over the years and our recent visit did not disappoint. Great service, our reserved table was ready 10 minute early and our orders were taken quickly. As always the food was on point and this is probably in our top 3 places for pizza in the GTA. You won't be disappointed.
I’ve been to pizzeria Libretto 3 times and each time has been amazing!
The pizza is quite good. Though it can be extremely loud, making the dinning experience unpleasant. We actually left the restaurant with our ears hurting us. It is not the music; the way the restaurant seems to be designed, it only takes a few loud customers to make the decibel-level uncomfortable.
We had our work team dinner on Ossington & everything was so awesome. Our server, Nikki, was SO wonderful - charming, knowledgeable, courteous and overall a perfect server. All the food we selected was great (5 pizzas), in particular the corn/bacon special and the margherita with ricotta pizza was outstanding! Overall such a great experience, we had a comfortable table and the restaurant was lively but not chaotic. Highly recommend (again & again & again!)
Found the back room to be very loud. The food is fine, but nothing special
Ah-mazing as always!! Fabulous service and food so delicious.
We enjoyed our dinner. Table would get dirty, dirty plates sat for a while too long. Disjointed music playlist overheard. Kids liked their gelato, but probably could have just used one scoop each.
Amazing service and food! Our waiter was extremely nice, brought dessert out for my birthday dinner and our food came about 10 minutes after we ordered it. Amazing!
As usual the food at Pizzeria Libretto was outstanding. Highly recommend the Duck Con fit Pizza as well as pleasantly surprised by the Fungi! Meatballs were so savory, with a delicious San Marzano tomato sauce. Unfortunately, our waiter was a bit on the disengaged side. Not asking for Michelin service, but c'mon people, if you don't like the job, do something else.
Pizza was good. Calamari were awful...boxed/frozen for sure
We were expecting a more "Italian" experience but nobody spoke Italian or even knew how to pronounce the italian dishes.
Probably won't return.
Service was terrible and staff was rude
Best location in this franchise! Great food, great service and it was OzzFest so lot's of fun stuff going on.
Everything is delicious and the vegan pizza would fool most!
Wonderful, attentive service and delicious food! We shared 2 pizzas and a salad among 3 of us and it was more than enough. The server brought us a dessert on the house for our special occasion - so lovely. Would definitely recommend this place.
Very small and rather noisy venue, but the pizza is to die for. Authentic italian pizza.
Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. We were seated at the back and the noise level was high. Difficult to hear my friends. Next time I make a res I will ask for a table closer to the front.
The best gluten free pizza in town, hands down. The duck confit/pear/rosemary pizza is divine! Also, we were fortunate to have the zucchini flowers in season to try out this seasonal grilled zucchini pizza, which is outstanding. A large group was very loud, and due to this location being a bit smaller, made it difficult to hear ourselves speak, but this is to be expected at times. Overall, great experience, yet again!
The Ossington location has a comfortable neighborhood ambiance. Just a very loud person right behind us. The waiter was very good just never returned for coffee order. Most importantly, the arugula salad and the pizzas (Double Margarita and Mushroom) were delicious. Definitely go again!!
Got a bunch of apps + a pizza. Great service & great casual ambiance. The only minus for me was that the calamari I got was a little burnt (didn't realize until gf pointed it out at the end of the meal, seeing the same dish coming out for other tables).
Great Sunday lunch with friends. Good food, attentive service but not intrusive, very accommodating (food allergy & plant-based), nice atmosphere... would definitely recommend!
Very accommodating, always amazing food. A bit noisy, so not the place for a quiet conversation.
Back space of the restaurant was quite noisy (one table celebrated a birthday I think), but we asked to be seated on the front which made our whole experience more pleasant.
I took my husband to eat, what is in our opinions, one of the best pizzas in Toronto. This was my husband’s pre-birthday meal, his 30#
My wife boasts of your gluten free crust.
Best ever !
Good little Italian spot on Ossington near Dundas. We loved the pizza and the vibe but I couldn't give higher marks because the noise level is too loud, and it's not from loud music. My friend and I were seated in the main dining room at the back and had to practically shout to have a conversation. There were times when one of us would start talking (loudly) and the noise level would go up so high we'd have to stop knowing that we couldn't be heard. Everything else was really good.
Open up a joint in the 905 please
We went to Pizza Libretto to celebrate Father's Day. My 7yr old son; a discerning foodie, declared it's the only pizza in the city he would give a "5-star" rating to. Our 4yr old daughter even liked her pizza and she rarely likes anything, so that says something! Our server was great! She brought over small plates of pizza dough to occupy the kids, which was a lifesaver. That, including the window to the kitchen really won them over. We shared the calamari appetizer, which was a generous portion; big enough for the whole family. The $9 kids' pizza + gelato is an excellent value... the vanilla gelato was so creamy and good. I forget what my husband got because I was too consumed with how delicious my duck confit pizza was. The pizzas were huge including the kids' meals and we took home leftovers for the next day. it was altogether a great experience. We'll definitely be back!!
