First time at Plant Matter Kitchen; was blown away! So many options and such knowledgeable staff. The location was well run and worked like a well-oiled machine. They had a lovely variety of gluten-free dishes!

Actually the best nachos I’ve ever had.. prompt, polite and informed service.. really good in-house hot sauce.. a little pricey but also worth it in the end... had to park at Value-Mart, but not the end of the world.. I’m not vegan, but will 100% be back again, thanks again 👍👍

We are never disappointed and we never leave hungry. The staff knows we are gluten free and always do their best to ensure we receive comparable food and enjoyment from their establishment. I would recommemd this restraunt to vegans and non-vegans alike!

We went to family as always enjoy PMK - updated menu so we got to try some new dishes.
My wife had the mushroom steak which was very good but it needs to be either sliced to a better knife
provided to cut through mushroom.

will go back

Love it here. So nice to get such creative and delicious vegan food. Would absolutely recommend. Only complaint is they didn’t have enough high chairs available so it made it tough to eat (and I had asked for one with my reservation) but honestly a small complaint. Service and food was delicious!

When we get together as a family we go to plant matter kitchen as it suits all of our tastes.
Our meals were wonderful and we loved the new lunch menu.
We tried the doughnuts (2 reg and 2 gluten free) and were disappointed in the texture and flavour of the gluten free type. But that is the first food item I have ever had at this restaurant that was not up to par.

The brunch sharing platter was amazing. The portions were generous and all the elements were delicious. Though it’s hard to choose a favourite, the scrambled tofu and seitan strips were amazing. I would swap out the oatmeal for something else next time but we were too full to eat it anyhow. I will definitely be returning for brunch.

This restaurant provides excellent alternative versions of common meals. I had a calzone and you could not taste the difference between it and one with dairy products. Service and wait times were good, and the servers, cook, and host were all very friendly and kind. You can tell that they all really care about their bodies and yours, too. The prices were equivalent, if not lower, than an average chain restaurant like East Side Mario's, but the food was much better for my body! Another chance for a special dinner between grandmother and granddaughter: that wonderful tomato bisque and pasta dishes for both! Welcoming and attentive service; generous portions of beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked pasta. A winning formula! Thank you again!!

Amazing! I am from Richmond Hill but visit London once a month. I was hoping they'd have one in the GTA. Surprised to see it was a one-off restaurant. I hope to see it grow.

I have been to PMK a number of times. Whenever I am in the area, I am an effort to stop by for a coffee and a treat. I finally convinced a group of seven friends to come and give vegan food a try. I have to say that this time I found the food underwhelming. A few of my other friends felt the same way about their meals. I had the Asian noodle bowl and it was served lukewarm and had an odd taste and was an overall small portion size. I didn't find it worth the price. I was quite taken aback ad I have gotten used to the food being spectacular here. This experience was quite different than what I had previous times. I raved about this restaurant to my friends so I was disappointed that it was a little underwhelming. This could have been an off day and I will keep coming here. I would just suggest ensuring that all dishes are made consistently well and perhaps revising some of the items. The dessert was very good, however.

As it is difficult to find options for completely Vegan menu, this is a gem! I have been many times and the food choices are phenomenal! Great menu with changing specials and chefs that pride themselves in coming up with vegan healthy meals that taste amazing, and the service is top notch. I used to be "traditional "regular meat choices bar food fast food guy until 2 years ago onto vegetarian and more vegan over the last year, and Toronto seemed to be it for fine dining ,however Plant Matter Kitchen raises the bar and is THE spot in London.

We ordered 2 flatbreads as an appetizer for the table. There were 6 of us. The kitchen staff cut the pizzas into 4 pieces each, but could have easily cut them into 6 slices each so that each of us could try both pizzas. It is a small thing, but it would have saved us from having to use our dull table knives to do the job ourselves.

Arrived early for a lunch appt, was not a problem as they have some foyer seating. All three wait staff very accomodating, recommendations as to menu choices were offered with explanations. We both enjoyed our burger 162 meals, even with our differing palates. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Come back for sure.

We visited in Dec/18. The food was excellent. Three of the four ordered the shepherd's pie, which was served hot, and was very tasty. The fourth ordered the PMK bowl, which she said was also excellent. My wife and I are not vegetarian, but we enjoyed the cuisine as much as my daughter and her husband from Toronto, who are vegetarian. We will return.

PMK is a perfect place to meet for a tasty plant-based meal, with a casual atmosphere, extensive menu, and fairly good value considering the quality of the food served. Excellent service too. I've never had a non-vegan express disappointment in this plant-based eatery, in fact they're usually unexpectedly surprised at the experience!
