Fabulous time today. The brunch menu was fab as expected. Special shout out to Isaac, our server. So friendly and personable and if we’re being honest, it was nice to see a familiar face. He was just as amazing today as he was a few weeks ago when we were in for dinner. Love this spot and can’t wait to try more items off of the menu!

I hate to write a negative review because this is a great restaurant. I wanted to introduce Yorkville PLANTA to my vegetarian friend for her big birthday. My family has been many times and it has been amazing and our fav is the Bang Bang Broccoli. The ambiance is beautiful, especially for a vegan restaurant, where many times that is not the case. I included in the reservation note that it was a birthday. Unfortunately my fiend wasn’t feeling well and the food was not as great as it has been in the past and not hot. It didn’t live up to the standards I had experienced before. There was no mention of a birthday or dessert and the staff had to be called over a few times for service. The waitress removed an item from the bill which was nice but I was still disappointed. My friend came into the city for this birthday lunch enduring the craziness of traffic and parking and it was just ok. Next time, I’ll go to Queen St. PLANTA location where is has been beyond my expectations every time.

5 stars I went in allergic to vegetables. I came out cured because the food was to die for!!! Awesome cocktails! Alexa was the best server we've had in a long time. Highly recommend date night here.

This may have been my first visit to Planta, but it most certainly will not be my last! The food is amazing. The sushi completely blew my mind, the pizza immediately took me back to when I lived in Europe. It’s about as close to “tarte flambée” as you can get. Just amazing. The mushroom udon was divine and the bang bang broccoli had the perfect crunch. The service here is next level, water glass was never empty and dishes were removed by staff in a blink of an eye. I mean quite literally, blink and you miss them. I can’t believe I waited this long to eat here. Planta is doing an exceptional job of redefining vegan/plant based dining and making it incredibly delicious too! Can’t wait to come in again and try out some other menu items!

Love it here, lots of food GF options for ppl with celiac as well. The waiter went to the kitchen and marked off what’s naturally GF and what can be made GF, as well as what’s off limits. I got the Thai slaw and on a previous occasion got the lettuce wraps. So delish!

Excellent experience. Recommend making a reservation as it was busy even on a Monday night. Really flavourful food. Bang Bang Broccoli is a must try. Only downside was that the bill to pay was delayed, probably because it was so busy in the restaurant

The lunch menu was disappointing. Will only be coming here for dinner from now on. Our server - didn’t catch her name seemed inconvenienced to have us even though there weren’t many tables at the time. The food runner SA was more friendly. Water was topped up in a sloppy manner with water going all over the table. Wasn’t friendly and engaging. Definitely had nicer service here in the past so won’t hold this one experience against this location.

The broccoli is always excellent, and the waiters are always so friendly! This is my usual go-to place due to a friend being celiac, and she really appreciates the ease of which the staff and the kitchen handle food allergies and intolerances.

Went for a quick lunch out with my Mom during my lunch break, service took forever and we were tempted to go as we almost ran out of time before the food even came (35 min for a bao and salad). With that being said our server was really nice when she did come to our table. The food was alright but awkward plating and incredibly small portions.

Planta on Bay is now my go-to lunch spot for lunches that kick it up a notch. The venue is lovely, the food is creative and tasty. The menu choices are light enough for lunch but maintain generous portions and very good value. The service is attentive and flexible, allowing a leisurely lunch with as much time as desired to catch up with friends, or hold a business lunch.

Good selection and variety. Food was good. Avocado flat bread was a little light on the avocado. The breakfast sandwich was good but would have liked a little more if the hot honey flavour. The Vietnamese iced coffee was delicious! Always enjoy Planta.
