The food here was some of the best vegan food in Toronto, and a must try even if you’re not vegan and are just looking for a fresh take on veg. Restaurant is bright, decor is trendy and casual, and the waiter we had was wonderful—very attentive and conversational yet professional.

Terrible service. 3x I have dined here, and consistently poor service. Multiple people swarming around, posing and none of whom pay attention to diners.
Waiters dictate to the diners what they should order rather than listening. Awful.

I would not. I found the food very disappointing, one dish was inedible. We actually sent it back. The other dish was just not very tasty.

We eat a plant based diet so coming here was a must. Everything we had was great. We ordered a salad that contained cilantro and didn’t enjoy it. Our waiter Michal replaced it for us with one he enjoys and it was perfect. He also spent time with us to point out everything that was or could be made gluten free.

While we had to wait for our reserved seat in a drafty entranceway the food and service once seated made up for this situation. No explanation was given.

The food was delicious! The planta burger lives up to the hype and was well worth the enthusiasm. Servers were incredibly attentive and kind, even though it was incredibly busy, our food and drinks arrived in a very timely manner.

The Friday evening we went to Planta for a Winterlicious meal the restaurant was humming. It was nice to see that it is so popular but it was a bit noisy for a senior citizen like myself. The three of us did, however, thoroughly enjoy our dinner. Our server, a lovely young woman, was solicitous and efficient, and the food was tasty. Only the veggie burger did not live up to expectations. I much prefer a Beyond Meat burger.

Overall, our evening was a success and we look forward to our next visit.

Consider carpets to control the noise? Apart from that, very happy.

Really tasty vegan options. However, I would not recommended the homemade iced tea - it is literally a black tea bag in cold water, and the “sweetener” given on the side is sugar which does not melt in cold water.

Food and service were amazing. Value was somewhat ok since we went during Winterlicious but the noise level was way too high. Thankfully we had a quieter table towards the back. The main area was as noisy as a school cafeteria.

We made a reservation for Winterlicious and had to wait 45 minutes for our table. After we were seated, we were rushed out of the restaurant within an hour. All that aside, the food was fantastic!

Despite having reservations, we were seated close to the door. It was freezing. The server brought out a heater and plugged it in between us and another party. They complained that they were cold, so the server placed the heater closer to them. We had to wear our coats throughout dinner. It took a really long time to get out order taken and we didn’t see a server often. We felt ignored. I still tipped 20% because it would have to be brutal for me to tip less, but I was disappointed. My daughter is a vegetarian and it was my first time taking her to a vegan restaurant. I really wanted it to be special.

The "Chicken" burger and Drop Me a Line non-alcoholic drink were fabulous. Ambience was hip on a Saturday afternoon during Winterlicious. Make reservations and show up on time. They are popular and get very busy.

Wishing I'm Vegan but I know that I can't convert 100%. Must try!

Def an IG type of restaurant. Everything looks chic and has a gold accent.

Made a reservation for Winterlicious (lunch) to do a bridesmaid proposal. Some of my girls were a bit hesitant since it's vegan but they were impressed with the experience and food.

They seated 2 of my girls out of 6 even though we were running 20-30 mins late. (Darn you TTC subway closure). I'm glad we didn't have to wait considering the restaurant at the time was full.

For $23, it was super worth it. We were stuffed by the end of it. For appetizer, I got the zucchini fritti - DELISH! So crispy and flavourful. Then I got the chicken mushroom burger for main and ooouu, flavours we're so robust. It looked like a simple dish but as soon as you bite into it, it's heaven. I got a salad instead of fries. My girls got fries and it looked so much better. My salad looked too basic but when I tried it, the dressing complemented the burger. It was perfect. Lastly, I got the chocolate tarte. I liked it but I wish I got the chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream.. It was to die for.

The service was great. The hostess greeted us and brought us straight to our table. Our server looked like Mike Ross from Suits haha! He's super nice, attentive and always made sure that we were looked after. Constant refills too. He also told us that he's an actor on the side, pretty cool.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Don't expect massive or super large portions. Just keep talking til you hit the 15 min mark then you won't even feel hungry ;)

PS: they have drinks as part of Winterlicious. Although, small portions!

Went for winterlicious, and the food was great! Their food items make a vegan diet seem less intimidating to those who are unfamiliar with it/are frequent meat eaters.

I had dinner on Friday with a party of 4. We tried the Winterlicious menu and I was happy with my choices. I had the artichoke dip as an appetizer, the planta burger and the chocolate tart. What stood out the most of the meal was the planta burger and the potato fries that it came with; the burger was beet based and was very tasty, not overly seasoned but just right. Most vegan burgers tend to be dry but this one was the opposite- it was juicy! I also enjoyed the chocolate tarte as it wasn't too sweet and the cocoa flavour was very present. Overall, I had a good experience!

A gem in Yorkville neighbourhood. Nice, artsy, soothing decors in green. Great meal: best onion soup ever! Guilt free cheese cake, coffee with oat milk. I'm not a vegan but certainly can apprec the vegetable based dishes here. Wonderul and healthy. Fast, courtesous service. Love this place!
