Under Chef David Lee, Planta aimed at filling a void in the market of upscale, full service, plant-based dining options.     If you love flavourless food this is the place for you the food was soo horrible in taste pizza to pasta everything was horrible I don’t even why this place exist drinks were really good and service as well but food is not even worth trying and too overpriced you will be disappointed

    The food was spectacular—bang bang broccoli, chili crisp tofu, diavola pizza, avocado lime tartar, spicy lumaconi pasta—with friendly and knowledgable service (thank you, Ten!). We were seated at an out-of-the-way table, as requested, and while the ambiance in the back wasn't as welcoming (we were seated next to a service station), it was definitely quieter for what was a business dinner. Would certainly recommend for elevated vegan fare at a great location in the city!

    Everything was great. Except with the booking I had to move back by :15 minutes and although the system accepted it it wasn’t communicated to the restaurant. So it appeared that we were late. We got seated no problem so this is just a FYI that there is a lag between the open table system and the restaurant records

    Planta’s interior is so beautiful; I’m glad that it was the first restaurant at which I ate inside! We ordered the Pad Thai Salad, Mushroom Bolognese, Bangin’ Choco Chip Cookie; all of which were tasty (especially the cookie, which I’ve had upon multiple occasions). The service was prompt and friendly; my glass of water was also never empty. Because everything was just starting to open up, the restaurant was fairly empty and moderately quiet. The set up was also arranged to support social distancing, and they had digital menus which you could access through a QR code. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience!

    Beautiful location. Friendly and responsive staff. Wine and food pairings offered and were bang-on. Restaurant was busy yet we were not rushed out at all. Food prices were slightly higher than anticipated though it was high quality food, generously portioned. All in all a lovely meal.

    I’ve been before and like restaurant. This time tried their famous burger and fries. Did not disappoint. Portions are good but small compared to many places but this is not a bad thing. Too often there is an obscene amount of food which people eat just to finish. This was a nice size with lots of fries. Really enjoyed.

    Disappointed with flavours at Planta. Maybe we didn’t get the best dishes but the food felt rushed and very oily, salad was soaked in dressing. Cocktails mega sweet. Waitress forgot one of the dishes. Planta is riding the wave but hopefully better options will come to the city.

    This is my favorite place in a whole GTA. Ambient is just lovely, young friendly staff, and food is just awesome! Please try EVERYTHING on the menu!
