We had the chips and guacamole. The guacamole was excellent and came with toppings if you wanted. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were so yummy! A really great portion-I couldn’t even finish it. My friends all had various things and everything was excellent. Our server was exceptional. She was so pleasant and efficient and and absolute sweetheart. Can’t wait to go back!

Really chill vibe at this place, the guacamole was very good & it is great that they give you all the ingredients to make it to your liking. Great margaritas & the taco dinner platter is an amazing value.

Service was wonderful, pricing was surprisingly good, food was delicious — but wow this place is loud. (Though for a Mexican restaurant on a Saturday I guess that’s to be expected.) Next time we’ll sit outside.

The seating that we were in was a full long table that you had to share with others- for us that was the only downside. Was way too crowded but the food was great! - the tacos were top notch and so was the passion margarita! And the churros I’ve cream sandwich was to die for. We went for dinner and drinks due to an event at the become theatre and went back for dessert! The waitress was so friendly we liked her.

I’ve been to Playa Betty several times and this time it felt like much less care was taken with our food and drink. No pumpkin seeds were served with the guacamole, very unattractive plating of salads, and no salt on my frozen Paloma, among other things.

I went to Playa Betty’s before and really enjoyed their food so i decided to go with my daughter and have dinner. Everything was great the food and drinks were delicious. The only problem I had was that all their doors were open to make it an inside outside experience and it was 34 degrees outside. We decided to eat inside, but had to eat with our coats on basically. Other than that it would of been a pleasant experience. Make sure you call ahead and ask if they have their doors open.

Showed up 10 minutes early for a 5:45 reservation and were told we had to wait. That’s fine. But then we didn’t get a table until 6:00. What’s the point of a reservation? Noise level was ear splitting.

Went here before Seinfeld show at the Beacon. Great margaritas, good tacos, fun vibe. Wish we had something like this in Westchester. We will definitely go again when we are in the neighborhood.

Overall, impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant— lots of space and nice decor. Service was very slow and our table was rarely checked on. However, we went during Saturday brunch, so understand the busy atmosphere. Food was tasty, but for the price I would say the portion sizes could’ve been bigger. The chips and queso were amazing— would definitely come back for drinks and appetizers, but not sure if I’d pay for a whole meal again.

Energetic, somewhat too loud, food was OK, tacos not bad but nothing special. Guacamole is excellent. Same for drinks - margarita was great but the drink my husband took was super strong, he had to return it.

Taco Tuesdays is not only a great deal but delicious! Keep going back almost every week! Baja fish & Shortrib tacos are consistently our faves but the Potabella “shrooms” is fab for vegetarians!

Food was ok. Margaritas were weak, I ended up paying $8 to add a shot to the house margarita. Then asked for one with fresh-squeezed lime and a better tequila, it wasn't any better. $8 for chips seems a bit excessive.

This place has the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Who is actually giving them 4.5 stars. The service and the menu, as it is constructed online, is confusing. No one came to our table until we got up and asked if there was table service. When the waitress arrived she was unhelpful. The best part about the entire meal was the NON complimentary chips and salsa. None of the 3 salsas scored an 8 out of 10 rating. The food was poorly seasoned. Even the rice and beans was bland. Honestly, keep on moving.

Service and food where good but noise level is high. I would recommend if your seeing a show at beacon and want a good quick bite. Overall an 8 out of 10. We got seated and out in about 40 mins so great for our purpose of getting to show early. You will need a reservation on a show night but great little Taco place with good cocktails.
