Overall we had a decent meal. For an Italian restaurant to serve bruschetta on rock hard, cold pre made bread is just not Italian ! My guess everything is pre made for expedited service. Well I don’t mind waiting for the real thing…. Would not go back….

What a delightful surprise when we dined at Pomodori. Great and knowledgeable staff and the food was delicious. Very comfortable setting, moderate volume level. I can't until I am in town again and can go back. This time I'll have the awesome looking lasagna!!

The restaurant is tucked in the corner of a shopping mall and as you walk up it doesn't look like much, but this is a fabulous place with phenomenal food and a great wine list! Lots of options, all of them well done and very enjoyable.

Such a gem! We took friends from out of town who were visiting. We sat outside on the patio with heaters. Was very comfortable. First time I’ve ever ordered their lasagna. Best I’ve ever had! So many layers of the thinnest noodles. Not at all heavy although the piece was huge. Definitely could have been split. I’m a big fan of anything they make with their delicate tomato sauce. So delicious!

We come to the island twice a year. We come to Pomodori each time because we love it so much. The food is phenomenal and the service is so personable (Hanan is a fave!!). Thanks for another wonderful meal. See you again in July!!

This restaurant has had some good reviews but we found it to be quite ordinary and more typical of a restaurant for tourists who want a big meal not necessarily a great meal. The service was young and learning and a bit spotty but pleasant staff. The pasta was excellent but the rest, again, nothing out of the ordinary. If you are looking for genuinely good Italian food as you might find throughout Italy, there are better choices here. If you like Italian food in the New York style, this restaurant is probably a good choice.

Our favorite local Italian restaurant - service is great - food is wonderful - have always had a great meal and experience. last night, started with fried calamari that was light and delicious; papardella w/Short Rib ragu, outstanding; Zuppa de Pesce full of fresh mussells; topped the night with authentic cannolli.

My husband had the Suppa and I had the veal Marcella . Both were good size portions and delicious. For dessert we had the tiramisu. It was wonderful. Very lite and delicious. We also had cappuccino. It too was delicious. We did sit on the porch but there are heaters there and it is hard to find. Once you find it it was well worth it.

Always love the menu and the food! But last night we could only get seating in the outdoor screened porch, which I thought would be an inferior seating location. I was SO wrong! It was lovely, quiet, and the service was excellent. We might even request that location in the future, weather depending. One of the best restaurants on the island!

Upon arriving in the parking lot, we encountered a car that was racing around it. We did make our reservations on open table as their website directed us. Upon entering, we were offered the absolute worst table in the house while there were others around us that were open and available. We were told that because we made the reservation on OpenTable we could not get what they considered preferred seating. Rather than try to accommodate any of our request, the hostess preferred to argue with us. The chicken franchise that I ordered was extremely sour and ruined with excess lemon to the point of being sour. . When I commented about this, they gave me attitude and said, that’s the way we make it. She was not interested at all on whether or not I enjoyed it. Upon my husband spilling his wine, no other glass of wine was offered to compensate. The whole experience was one of lack of concern for anyone, but they’re local favorite guests. I will not go back and because the food was not that good to warrant such rudeness.
