Always an amazing dinner going to Porto. I love that it is a different experience each time as the menu changes on occasion. Service is always fantastic and helpful. Food is delicious. Truly one of the best places in Boston. The only down side was that it was very loud this time but only because of an energetic private event happening, but this is not a regular occurrence. Will continue to go again and again, especially for the octopus!

The food is overpriced for the quality of it. We got the pastas and they were cold. The octopus was delicious so maybe I would stick to the seafood. The cocktails run on the sweeter side if that’s your thing. The waiters forgot multiple elements of our 3 item order. The ambience was nice and soothing indoors.

Excellent meal and cocktails were delicious!! We loved the patio but you should find a way to better secure the plastic flaps on the patio to the ground. Good protection from wind but person sitting against the plastic gets hit by the plastic/wet.

Was not happy with my first experience here. I come to Boston often and I can say the food was great the personnel were inexperienced. Where we sat was outside but they placed us in a very cold windy corner. Just disappointed.

We visited Porto restaurant last night. The place is really elegant, but when busy, the level of noise is really high. However, the food was great. Personally I think there could be more options in the menu. Pasta was great!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with the help of a very knowledgeable waiter. We had appetizers and two of the pasta dishes, wild mushrooms on one and duck confit on the other, and both the pasta and sauces were perfect. We finished by sharing a "real" Italian cheesecake that didn't disappoint. We'll come back when we're in Boston.

We dined on the patio on a cold night. It was slightly cool but the heaters did a good job. The patio made it easy to talk to our guests. Service was attentive and we really enjoyed the food, especially the Brussel sprouts and scallops. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff made that pleasant and not embarrassing.

We had made outdoor seating reservations. It was a cold evening (temp. In the 40s). They were able to give us one heater for a table of 8. Chairs are made of metal. So we were very cold. Only after we had been there for about a hour chattering, the sommelier thought of bringing us blankets (thank you!) They should have been offered as soon as we were seated (the hostess was horrible and did not welcome us, acted like she was doing us a favor seating us. No smile. No hospitality). Drinking hot water with Leon warmed us a bit. The manager saw our situation but did nothing. A couple of additional heaters were essential and should have been available. In any event, the food was great. Our server was great. Overpriced? Absolutely yes.

Each of the six dishes - four appetizers and two entrees - the three of us ordered were excellent. A few - the Spanish octopus, cauliflower agrodolce, wild mushroom mafalade and the branzino - were outstanding! The waitstaff met our every need with smiles. Looking back, this was one of the best dinners we've enjoyed in recent years, which included two trips to London and Paris.

This couldn’t have been a more perfect experience. To working with Kristina to set up the event, to the team onsite the night of the event (and our great server!)… it was truly amazing. The food and drinks were great, the setup and ambiance worked great for our group of 17… they really went above and beyond. I can’t recommend Porto enough for an event!
