   Everything about the restaurant was first class. The service from the moment we arrived was friendly and attentive. We were continually checked on to ensure everything was fine but bot in an intrusive manner. Food and wine was absolutely delicious. I am used to dining in the top restaurants and this was certainly up there with them. Definitely recommended.

   The sign in the window advertising vacancies in kitchen wasn’t a good indicator. We had a reservation but the hostess coldly said ‘take any table with a menu.’ £4 oysters were mediocre and not shucked properly. £24 swordfish plopped on mushy roast potatoes was a centimetre thick, at best. A fully disappointing experience.

   Food was amazing - exactly like the last time. Restaurant is lovely and we had very nice evening. The only one thing we were not impressed about was service. I’m not sure if some kind of training was happening that Saturday ? We were waiting long time for someone to serve us, my husband had stop one of the waiters to actually order something ( there was 4 people around the bar just standing ) - it is a shame because you expect better service from restaurant like this. Overall food was great, beautiful restaurant but service didn’t match the food or the prices paid for our experience on this occasion.

   Group of girlfriends celebrating a weekend away for our special birthday year. Was lovely place to celebrate and feel special. Food was lovely and varied to accommodate our varied requirements. Vegetarian and gluten free. Service was great and friendly

    We really loved our night here. The staff are welcoming, the space is bright and cozy, and the food is tasty and well priced. Highly recommended for Italian comfort in a central Bath location.

    Enjoyed a meal here, not the best meal I've ever had but it was still good. Although I found it quite expensive for pasta dishes. £138 for 2 courses, 1 desert and a bottle of wine. The service by the gentleman was very good and attentive. However, the female left a lot to be desired, we still had wine left and my desert wasn't finished, she came to clear the table and asked if we wanted anything else, when we said no she brought us the bill. I did wonder if she was trying to get rid of us. When the gentleman seen the bill on the take he asked oh you have the bill and you haven't finished yet, we told him that she just brought it, he was surprised and said he would have a word with her.

    Should not be called and oyster and champagne bar. They only do one type of oyster and not one champagne you can buy by the glass. Very disappointing.

    It was a pleasant restaurant with friendly staff. I was planning to part pay with my Open Table dining cheque (they were not listed on the opt out page) so encouraged my mother to have the oysters, which were expensive. I was very fed up to have the dining cheque refused, even after the manager checked with his director whether he could accept it. This pushed the bill to over £100 for lunch and spoilt the meal for me.

    We had a nice lunch but it didnt live up to price tag expectations. The oysters were covered in ice still so had to manoevre them but they were good. My husband didn't enjoy his £26 rib eye as said was fatty. But chips were divine. I ordered swordfish steak but it came out mushy. Also meals came so quick that it was a little rushed. Sorry to sound negative but it wasn't worth a £100 lunch. Service was nice and location lovely but food a little disappointing

    The food was good, not the best Italian but good for the money, and some of the staff was pleasant. But our main waiter, who might have been management, rushed us the whole time. He initially came over and asked what we wanted to eat before offering to take drink orders and then at the end of the meal after we had been at the table 90 minutes, he asked us to finish our drinks at the bar because they needed the table. 30 minutes later, we left and our table was still empty. Not sure if we offended him somehow but he had no time to provide good customer service.
