After several years in the heart of Montreal’s Portuguese neighborhood, chef Helena Loureiro gourmet address is moving to new heights, at the junction of Downtown, Old Montreal and Griffintown.
We welcome you all in this beautiful and colourful venue, located on the 30th and 31st floor of the 777, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard. Thanks to an ingenious 360-degree rotating system, you will embark on a unique "tour" of the city while enjoying a delicious Portuguese meal.
It's a little expensive, but the food tasted amazing and the roating view of Montreal is great!
Been here many times both for lunch and dinner. Always good. One of the best in Montreal. Beautiful view of Montreal also. If you like octopus you should try the grilled octopus.. so so good..
The view was awesome, the service was really slow, the food was underwelming considering the price. I guess you pay for the view.
Me and my guests loved it!
Delicious food! Beautiful views of the city. We could have a table by the glass for unobstructed views since in the end there were many empty tables around. Ideal for special occasions as it is not a cheap restaurant. Overall a great evening. Highly recommended!
The waiter didn’t give a good service! He’s mood was off from beginning to end...
Excellent food and great service
great mix of tastes and excellent " mise en scene "
Absolutely fantastic food. Every dish is well thought out. Highly recommended.
We had a great dinner on Portus! The food was delicious and the main courses were astonishing (the sizes were definitely fair). The service was fine and polite, but the restaurant has a policy that you must order everything in advance (which made everyone a think they were a bit in a hurry). After all, great place to go for a date or with friends that are visiting town.
Love my lunches at Portus360 especially when served by Nina!
Bof... average food. Bit boring. Helena is better. Here it feels like we pay for the view (which, yes, is unparalleled).
Awesome experience!!! Really nice ambiance and food was simply amazing! You guys should definitively go for tasting menu its worth the price and even more seriously. Service was really good, they answered all of our little demands. Thanks Helena
Amazing food with a spectacular view. A must for any visitor to Montreal. Steve our waiter recommended succulent dishes with a nice private imported bottle of wine from Portugal
Wonderfull view of Montréal wahouuuuuu !!! nice people
Their set up and food are just amazing (5 Stars no doubt about it). However, their service is extremely poor (Minus 67 Stars!). I believe I have the responsibility to write everything that went wrong so people can judge by themselves afterwards: 1- We were celebrating a very special occasion that night so we chose that restaurant just because it seemed so extraordinary on the internet and because of Chef Helena Loureiro’s reputation. When we were taken to our table, we asked our hostess to get a quieter table as ours was just next to a very loud group of people. We were told by the hostess that it was not possible just because the restaurant was fully booked that night and we would end up being next to groups no matter where we sit. So our request got denied. Fair enough! 2- Our waiter was excellent for the introduction, but unfortunately, things went totally sideways right after. First, we asked him if it was possible to switch the octopus for some scallops for the seafood mix for 2 that we had chosen. He immediately replied: “NO”. He did not seem to care as he never checked with the kitchen to see if our Chef could do something for us neither did he offer any other alternatives to avoid the octopus in our mix. “NO” was all he could say. 3- Nobody came to see us just to see how we were doing after being served the main courses. So we ate everything in more or less 45 minutes with nothing else to drink than Sparkling water which our waiter left on the table without informing us we would be charged for that. The thing is, if the bottle would have been a normal one just like “ESKA” or “San Pelligrino”, we would have known immediately that...(see your fB page for complete review)
Celebrated both my partner and my birthday at Portus while visiting Montreal. We arrived at 6:30 pm where the evening sun was at peak and coming through the windows - which made it hot and uncomfortable because the sun was in your eyes. Could have maybe done with some sheer drapes along the windows for this time of day to keep it comfortable for guest while still being able to have a view of the city. The menu wasn't in English so it was difficult for us to understand / order and our waitress also had trouble letting us know about the menu in English. We we informed it was a tapas style restaurant and we would need 2 dishes per person, a total of 4 between the two of us. She also let us know about the tasting menu which was tapas, a main with a choice between 3 fishes and dessert. It was very complicated to order and since we couldn't read the menu, we went with the preset tasting menu and switched our main to a meat dish instead of fish which was an extra +$15-$27. We had an asparagus salad to start which was quite good, then we had a platter of tuna tatare on seaweed salad, salmon pate on endive an a shrimp salsa. We then got another dish which was 4 jumbo shrimp and some grilled octopus and I asked our server if was the main - he replied that it was not and our main would be coming shortly. It was a lot of food! My partner finished his rack of lamb but I packed my steak main to go and ate only half the dessert that arrive afterward. Nothing seemed to stand out - food was okay but inconsistent, steak and lamb were overdone. I left a note in our reservation letting the restaurant know we were celebrating a dual birthday but no action was made on their part to celebrate with us. Unfortunately our experience here wasn't the best as visitors to Montreal, but half the restaurant was full on a weeknight so it seemed to be a popular choice for others.
Dads 80th Birthday.
The view was good. The meal was ok, but too expensive. The Service was lala... not very friendly:-(
The place was so humid it was awful.
The waitress forgot our appetizers and barely was there. I do jot recommend this place, when I pay over 100$ for a meal a expect great service.
Beautiful setting and yes it is a 360 view of Montreal. The food was delicious and two white wines that we had to accompany the meal was lovely as well. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful with suggestions. A definite return.
Everything was perfect, but food was in small amounts and too spicy.
Et très accommodant avec les contraintes alimentaires.
They did everything possible because our stay was good
In previous lunches, I was always able to change the entrée for a simple green salad.
This time, I was told by the manager that they only buy 3 / 4 salads for their entrées and could not possibly accommodate their clients.
There are, fortunately, so many other restaurants around the corner!
Great place to be with your friends showcasing Montreal with excellent Portuguese specialities!
We are visiting from the US ( Florida) and were very impressed with the experience as a whole..... a lovely romantic restaurant with excellent food!
Excellent spot overlooking the city. I’ve never heard of the pace until this week and I’ve lived here forever.
Food was good but overall experience was excellent.
