After several years in the heart of Montreal’s Portuguese neighborhood, chef Helena Loureiro gourmet address is moving to new heights, at the junction of Downtown, Old Montreal and Griffintown.
We welcome you all in this beautiful and colourful venue, located on the 30th and 31st floor of the 777, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard. Thanks to an ingenious 360-degree rotating system, you will embark on a unique "tour" of the city while enjoying a delicious Portuguese meal.
I did not appreciate the fact that I reserved a table near the window but we were not given a table near the window. Also, I felt it was a rip off that they forced us to have the Valentine’s menu when Valentine’s Day was over already for two days. The food was good but the waitress was slow and did not know the menu well. We usually come every year to Portus but next year we might think twice.
Very good food and service
Disappointed with my experience at Portus 360 this time... The food was and always is excellent quality as well as the view of course, but the service was at best sub-par. Our waitress was almost unprofessional and despite being one of the fanciest restaurants in Montréal, they could not cater to our small requests when they previously said they would be able to. Was hoping for an outstanding night given my past experiences at Portus, but was sincerely underwhelmed with my most recent dinning experience there. I would not return- Even the most beautiful view can't justify the poor service and inflexibility (especially given the price we paid). I am sad to say that I regret making the reservation there for this Valentine's Day and won't make that mistake again for future special occasions.
The food is so good and the view is wow Bravo to the chef
The service was great, the degustation menu was amazing, and the view was just the best. It is, of course, on the expensive side, but totally worth it. Recommended.
We went for regular dinner, excited to try this place. I’ve heard very good things. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Overall EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE for the quality and quantity of the food.
We ordered the calamari with squid ink, came with no squid ink. Looked like regular fast food calamari. They said the menu was wrong and there was no squid ink for it. Why not change the menu and remove, or tell the customer ??
Sardines for appetizers were delicious.
We ordered lamb and the rice with seafood. The lamb was absolutely disappointing, $40 for tiny pieces of undercooked lamb. The rice was “okay” with too much butter.
The view was amazing, the waiter was trying to save the night, overall would never come back. THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING. Trust me.
I went to Portus 360 for valentines dinner. Ordered the tomahawk. Waitress said it would be enough to feed two or more. Dinner arrived. Tomahawk was cut in front of us. But the veggies and potatoes where enough to feed one person. I was very satisfied with the flavour and taste for my tomahawk. But for 150 dollars i expected some more sides. Four pieces of bread and one scoop of mashed potatoes where not what I was expecting.
For the view, the ambiance, but the food maybe steal the show....
Went for lunch, it was everything i expected, Excellent service, food was délicious, good quality, and view of Montréal all around is outstanding. I have Been recommending.
I order a cod and i was told the fish was fresh.
When I got my plate I was told it was salted and desalted cod but mostly the fish was mashed with a lot of potatoes. Not at all with I was expecting
Menu surprise plutôt agréable. Service souriant et efficace.
We found the portions to be very small for the cost of the food. On either side of us were tables at which the customers seemed to be known by the staff. We felt a bit ignored and noticed that both tables got their food before us, even though we arrived and ordered before them. They were given complimentary desserts also, and our waiter seemed perturbed when we asked for a second basket of bread to go with our meal. We left the restaurant feeling still hungry after appetizers and main courses. The menu had side orders of vegetables available to order with your meal, but we choose not to add them to our main courses as we saw the the size of the portions for the price was outrageous. I guess you are paying for the view and the location when you go to a restaurant like this. The food that we did have was delicious, just not enough.
Very good experience overall. Delicious food. However, we took the tasting menu and was extremely similar to the one we had a few weeks before. But very good though.
It's a bit expensive but a totally worthwhile dining experience!
Montreal seems to have a disproportional number of Portuguese restaurants, and I have had some truly exceptional dining experiences in many of them. Portus 360 did not really live up to my expectations.
Much of this is subject to taste - the Restaurant ambiance seemed a bit cold, probably due to it's location on the rotating floor atop the EVO hotel. The wait staff were attentive, but not overly gracious. Where the restaurant failed to thrill me was with the food.
I was there with a colleague, and we decided to share the grilled octopus appetizer. We both ordered the Cod off the fresh catch menu. So bear in mind, our sample size was pretty small.
The octopus was served on a bed of legumes - edamame, lentils (perhaps?) - it was cooked to perfection. The legumes were lightly seasoned and flavorful. But a bit bland.
When the cod arrived, it seemed to have been served with the same legume mix that accompanied the octopus - with the addition of a sweet potato puree that formed the base of the dish. The cod, too, was cooked to perfection - and delicately seasoned. And bland.
So it's quite possible that we just ordered the wrong things. But I have walked away from a number of Portuguese restaurants in Montreal saying 'WOW!'. In this case our reaction was more of a 'MEH'.
Really nice view. Nice services. Tuna Tataki is my fav.
Beautiful view, great food and service! ............. yo, OpenTable...50 caracteres or more is stupid!!!
Perfect place , food excellent, service perfect and spectaculaire view
Service and presentation are always good. This was a “late” lunch at 1:15 so we ended up being last clients. That felt weird but it was good to talk. Food was excellent and lunch table d’hôte was served quickly.
Food is nothing memorable but edible. The view is the strong point and the price point. Good luck!
Such a great way to spend a leisurely lunch.....enjoying the two hour 360 view of Montreal from port to mountain. The lunch special , reasonable at 29 dollars is always delicious with ample choices. Yesterday asparagus soup to start and my seafood over grelot potatoes ... babyclams, calamari, shrimp and octopus in a creamy spicy sauce with cilantro. Yum. Good choice of wines by the glass and pre choice tasting was a nice touch. Service was excellent....friendly, attentive wait staff . Because it was not too busy....being Monday and extremely cold, we had time to have a nice chat with our waiter. Terrific place to impress out of town guests or just to enjoy as a local Montrealer. Our visits have always been at lunch but the night views must be impressive with all the lights.
The lunch menu is way too expensive, and the portions are extremely small. The food was good
Very Nice place , i had a great time. Nice view, Nice evening!
Great Portuguese food, Helena menus' are still outstanding and so good.
Wine selection is more than impressive and cost still very affordable.
Best scenic view of Montreal in town
The scenery was very nice and the hostesses were very nice. Our waiter was nice, but had a hard time understanding him as he had a very thick accent when speaking French and he did not understand English.
My family and I went to celebrate my birthday, the service is very good, very professional staff, the Chef has attention to details, good was delicious, wonderful night,
Excellent wine recommendation and excellent food recommendations! Overall great meal... staff was attentive and knowledgeable about food and wine. Had a great experience here we would recommend highly for an exceptional evening out!
The brest restorant i never went and i work in a good restaurent
The degustation (90$/p) menu was unfortunately composed of many absolutely non-portugese dishes. The regular menu does have « fusion » dishes but we failed to see anything portugese in a tuna tataki, asparagus/aragula salad, and « crevettes de Matane /curry » salad,... My spouse is portugese, we are very open but this was a real downer.
Excellent food and service! The views were great and the the meal was fantastic. I had the filet and i would have licked my plate clean if it was appropriate.
