   Excellent service and a beautiful dinner overlooking the pond with a nice breeze and shade. I had a beet salad and foccia bread which was $15 all together but my glass of wine was $17 and it’s not a high end wine so I think if they could drop that down a little they would sell more.

   A nice quiet spot for a bite to eat. Not a big menu but a small but good selection. I prefer breakfast at this spot for sure! It is very busy in the mornings:)

    I found all our dishes were excellent. However the restaurant was dirty and the waitress was very inexperienced. She was trying to remove our plates while we were still eating. She didn't understand a request for an item not to be put on the plate. I thought that the restaurant would be abit more upscale than it was.

    We come often and this was by far the worst meal we had at your restaurant. My fish was severely overcooked and hard as a rock. Another person had cold vegetables and the chicken was overcooked too We brought people from out of town with us and it was not a good experience

    It was an early Sunday breakfast, so we were the only customers. The service was ok, but it looked like we were a burden on the waitress... The food was plain. We ordered eggs Benedict and it just wasn't good - the eggs were made properly fine but the do-called hollandaise sauce was completely off - it tasted like mayo and was excessive. The cappuccino was barely warm. Overall it's all overkill for $30 a person breakfast.

    The server was great. Knowledgeable and polite, attentive. The short ribs had incredible flavour. Be prepared for a considerable fat cap - about half of my total portion. When the server cleared our appetizer plates, we were asked to hang on to cutlery because they were low on silverware. With a less than half full dining room, it was a little surprising to hear that they couldn’t spare a fork. Given the choice of other WOW concepts, I would be more inclined to eat at Peasant, Alena, or 529.

    My brother and I dined at lunch at Prairie's Edge on April 19, 2023. The food was exceptional. However, when my soup arrived, there was a teaspoon accompanying it rather than a soup spoon, ensuing in my having to request a soup spoon. The soup, mixed vegetables with curry, was delicious. I selected the pickerel with fries for my entree and was delighted with my choice. Dessert was the bread pudding served with strawberries, blueberries, and whipping cream along with Earl Grey tea. Our server was extremely busy with a huge party of twenty guests in another part of the restaurant. When my brother and I were ready to depart, I was forced to ask the restaurant manager for our bill. Our meals were tasty indeed, and my brother and I appreciated the view of the pond with two ducks swimming in the open water. The restaurant was filled to capacity with diners so it is definitely a popular place which I would highly recommend.

    I have eaten at Prairie's Edge on a number of occasions and have introduced several of my friends to your restaurant. the food and service is always exceptional. when bringing new friends as guests, i always request a window seat so they can enjoy the view.

    I have not been to the resturant in about 5 yrs. I can say the qualoty of the fpod has not changed. It was excellent. My husband had the squash. If you have not tried it do so. I had the ravaolli amazing also. Hoping to be back again sooner than 5yrs. Enjoy.

    Thank you for the delicious experience. I was with 3 others that we've known for 60 years and went to kindergarten together. My friend from London Ontario was most impressed by the bread pudding. She also said she'd come back with her husband. We also enjoyed watching the squirrel run back and forth. Our waitress was amazing and we always appreciate that your facility is wheel chair accessible.

    The atmosphere was nice but not what I would consider a quaint evening as there was a lot of loud conversations that would carry. The service was great but the food was just "OK" and my plate of food was less than room temperature. I also found a small pebble in one of the entree's and luckily did not chip or crack a tooth on it. When I shared this with the waitress, she just chuckled and dismissed it. Not likely planning on going back anytime soon which is too bad as it could be a great place to dine!

    We had a wonderful time but we were expecting a couple of people to join via Skype. Wifi access was not available. That was disappointing. Also we picked this restaurant because it is generally very quiet. Didn’t expect a live band. Also people commented that the menu is limited. I love this restaurant though.     We love dining at Prairie’s Edge and we definitely have our favourites. The atmosphere is always lovely. We had a wonderful time, but did have some dissatisfaction with a few of the meals. Both Nashville chicken sandwiches did not have the customary thick and tender piece of chicken. They were thin slivers of chicken and parts were inedible as they were hard, dry and we were unable to even cut them with a knife. For a male adult, the salmon portion was very small but delicious. It won’t deter us from returning, but we will hopefully have a much different experience. Also, I don’t like having to ask for more water and two plates were missing the ketchup dish all together.

    This is a good place to meet for breakfast. We had a reservation and several diners appeared after us. There is good variety on the menu. My only complaint is with the way they cook scrambled eggs. I prefer them resembling scrambled eggs and not chopped cooked eggs. Otherwise it is a good place to have breakfast. The woman who served us is very good at her job. Friendly, attentive but not intrusive.
