   The atmosphere was nice but not what I would consider a quaint evening as there was a lot of loud conversations that would carry. The service was great but the food was just "OK" and my plate of food was less than room temperature. I also found a small pebble in one of the entree's and luckily did not chip or crack a tooth on it. When I shared this with the waitress, she just chuckled and dismissed it. Not likely planning on going back anytime soon which is too bad as it could be a great place to dine!

   We had a wonderful time but we were expecting a couple of people to join via Skype. Wifi access was not available. That was disappointing. Also we picked this restaurant because it is generally very quiet. Didn’t expect a live band. Also people commented that the menu is limited. I love this restaurant though. Our waitress Carlee was lovely.

   We love dining at Prairie’s Edge and we definitely have our favourites. The atmosphere is always lovely. We had a wonderful time, but did have some dissatisfaction with a few of the meals. Both Nashville chicken sandwiches did not have the customary thick and tender piece of chicken. They were thin slivers of chicken and parts were inedible as they were hard, dry and we were unable to even cut them with a knife. For a male adult, the salmon portion was very small but delicious. It won’t deter us from returning, but we will hopefully have a much different experience. Also, I don’t like having to ask for more water and two plates were missing the ketchup dish all together.

    This is a good place to meet for breakfast. We had a reservation and several diners appeared after us. There is good variety on the menu. My only complaint is with the way they cook scrambled eggs. I prefer them resembling scrambled eggs and not chopped cooked eggs. Otherwise it is a good place to have breakfast. The woman who served us is very good at her job. Friendly, attentive but not intrusive.

    I met with friends for brunch. Prairie’s Edge is a lovely, relaxing place with beautiful views of Kildonan Park. The Eggs Benedict with hash browns and fruit is consistently excellently executed here. Our server was friendly, attentive and ready to refill our beverages at anytime. It is simply a wonderful location to eat great food and chat with friends. There was no aspect to improve upon.

    We ordered caramelized onion and goat cheese dip with warm pita to start. Then fish and chips, smashed burger and chicken burger. Everything was really tasty, but the fish was outstanding!!

    We're regular customers at Prairies Edge. The setting is beautiful. Outside our window view were skaters on the frozen pond, skating under the coloured lights and enjoying a lovely Winnipeg winter's evening. The food was delicious. We had the mushroom ravioli and the Asian noodle bowl. A warm apple crumble for dessert rounded off a perfect dining experience. Our server, Amelia was delightful and attentive. 5 stars

    I was there for the Dine About Winnipeg Lunch special. Although the selection is limited, the food was fantastic. And the bread pudding is definitely one of the best that I have ever had. For the price of this special, I doubt that you can get a better lunch anywhere.

    Kind of a rundown place at this point in time, tables need replacing. Food was way too pricey for the quality and portion size. $28 for Eggplant parmesean and gpt 2 small pieces on top of dry knocchi. Won't return.

    Really, really enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past. Recommended it to friends and family. None of the 2 apps and 2 entrees were anywhere near previous standards. Consistently off. Such a shame.

    It was relaxing and we had good service. Friendly and accommodating, just a few forgotten requests. Otherwise all was really good and we enjoyed the whole experience. The food was fantastic and as always the view was lovely. Always a favourite place and we will be back. Thank you.

    Love this restaurant! Tried something new on the menu beet salad it didn't disappoint. Our server was really great happy and helpful. We've been coming to the park for years to walk. Best park in Winnipeg grounds are so well kept such a pleasure to visit summer and winter.

    I am a frequent diner at Prairie's Edge and have brought several guests who have never eaten there before. The food is always very good, and the staff and ambience are are outstanding. I have often recommended Parairie's Edge to friends as a great venue to try or to re-visit.

    We enjoyed our meal at Prairies Edge. The area was warm and cozy and our service was excellent and our main courses were delicious. We did order dessert and we’re not impressed with the apple crumble. The apples were not peeled and were tough and the topping was too hard. We will be back but not for that dessert!
