Great food. Great service. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices for what you get.
I thought the menu was quite small, however the chicken parmesan was phenomenal! Lots of cheese, and a pretty big portion. Service was great - our server was attentive, came by to check on us often, and everything came very quickly.
The quality of the food was amazing. For the amount of volume they had that evening the waitress never kept us waiting and she was one of the best I’ve ever had serving. In fact all the waiting staff was on top of there game providing all the tables with a great dining experience to the best of my observations. With that being said the only down fall was the quantity of the food felt like we ordered from the kids menu.
It was conveniently located but otherwise not recommended.
Food and overall experience we're very good. We had a quiet, romantic dinner before going to a show. Great place!
Enjoyed the restaurant, good service, generous portions. Only complaint was that the hostess tried to seat us at a table for two right at the entrance of the restaurant from the hotel. We had made reservations a week prior so I told the hostess that we did not want that table as there would be too much traffic. She obliged and moved us to another part of the restaurant where there was much better atmosphere (and the restaurant wasn't very busy). 7:30 p.m. Don't know why she tried to put us there in the first place!!!
Overall, I would return.
Visited in this Family Day Long weekend for dinner. Good service, pizza was good, pasta was great, specialty coffee did not impress me. Well priced main dishes. I would go back for the pasta!
The server was the best thing about the restaurant. Other than that, I do not recommend it. The food was not a fine dining quality, and the atmosphere was not good either. To start, the stuffed mushrooms were ok, but not great. The caesar salad used bought croutons, which were extremely garlic-flavoured so that if you ate one, you couldn't taste anything else. We ordered the only Pinot Grigio on the list, and it was ok, but since it was not busy, the server should have put it in a ice bucket. The main course of stuffed cheese pasta hearts in a cream-wine sauce was not great. The pasta was not fresh and that's the whole point; when I eat out, I want fresh, not something I could cook myself. As for the atmosphere, the music was way too loud and not romantic, seeing as it was Valentine's day.
We had a great time at Pranzo during our stay. Food was excellent and our server was great.
Thanks for making our date night special
Great meal and plenty of food.
Waiter was very friendly and personable.
Asked for a special pasta and it no problem and was delious.
We ate here before a concert while staying at the Hilton. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was warm and inviting. Our service was spectacular! The food was good. Would definitely go back.
We were served by "Nathan", he was friendly, helpful, and excellent at his position. We were so impressed by the restaurant itself, lovely. And the food, all I can say is "mouth watering" !! It was a wonderful experience which we hope to repeat soon! Keep up the good work Pranzo !!!
Service, portions, taste ...all fantastic. Would highly recommend.
The atmosphere and decor was great. The food preparation and presentation exceeded our expectations.
Veal was not high quality meat compared to other restaurants
I was a little disappointed in the food selection and claim of authenticity. Having very few choices on the dinner menu that interested me and many of the dishes are not typical Italian cuisine at all. The interior is very nice and their is a great view of the Niagara downtown area at street level. Overall the food was good but I expected more for my money.
Best part was our server Stephanie. She was friendly and prompt with service. She noticed that I didn’t enjoy the bruschetta and offered to replace with another appetizer, dessert or remove from the bill. We didn’t even need to ask which was a pleasant surprise. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious as was the Mediterranean plate. Lots of menu choices so easy enough to please everyone. Thanks Stephanie for making our evening !
Great food & ambience!
Our waitress Stephanie was amazing and made our dinner and evening. Thank you Stephanie.
I did not like paper strips covering the table instead of table cloth. It does not like good. Plus my daughter got a paper cut.
Food is good. The only issue is the service from the waiter and waitress. It seems to me that they don't know what to do in an Italian restaurant.
We knew the restaurant advertised "children eat free", but when 90% of the restaurant is empty why in the world would they seat a family with 2 children right next to our table when we were looking forward to a quiet dinner?
The food was great, although we found the price to portion ratio to leave a little to be desired. Service was very good. Food came quick. Server was very attentive.
Food was delicious and portions were large. Bit of a mix up when our entrees came out while still in the middle of our appetizers but all in all a great place to eat and worth the price.
We booked here for my husband and friends birthdays, adults only. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the ambience and the service (thank you, Paul!).
We go to Niagara several times a year and would most indefinitely return to Pranzo!
Service was slow, never even asked if we wanted a drink. Food was not terribly over-priced, but still not worth it. Place was super loud (kids eat free).
Food and service were great. Wine list was lacking variety....
By time we got our pasta is was cold. Pizza was okay.
Some of the worst Italian food I've ever eaten! The spaghetti had no taste, the minestrone soup was basically cabbage and the veal Marsala was awful. Avoid this place!
I have not eaten worse food in my life. "Brick Oven Pizza" they say..... well, sure, whatever that means however pizza crust texture is comparable to a pancake, spongy and soggy. Cheese tastes like a rubber. Obviously pizza is made or heated in a microwave. Unless there are bricks in their microwave I wouldn't say this was made in any kind of "brick oven", not to mention wood burning oven which is what they want you to get impression of.
Chicken Parmesan or 'Chicken Parmigiana' what real Italian restaurants would call it, is dry. Both, chicken and pasta suggesting the same, "Brick (microwave) oven"
Icing on a cake is prices. They are comparable to fine dining restaurants in major cities in Canada. Do yourself a favor and if you want to eat Italian go somewhere else and avoid this place at all costs. If you want to eat pancakes go to iHop.
I feel sorry for employees that have to deal with disappointed customers on a daily basis.
Service was Excellent. Nathan was our waiter. He was very nice friendly attentive. Overall went there for weekend away from Bklyn ,NY. The atmosphere was very nice. Food was just average unfortunately. Was looking for excellent food based on overall look of and feel of restaurant. And of course price
The food and the service was great. I would have given the food a 5 however, because the front windows were opened and it was breezy and cool out the food was cold shortly after it arrived. The napkins and table cloths were flapping in the breeze. A larger party walked out because of how breezy it was. I recommend this place but not when the windows are open on a coolm breezy day.
We enjoyed our trip to Niagara Falls even more when we dined at Pranzo. Made our reservation online. My husband needed a gluten free option, plus he doesn't eat red meat. He LOVED the fish with a large serving of roasted vegetables done just right. I had the linguini alfredo..delicious. Thanks for adding to our special 46 anniversary weekday getaway.
It was a really good experience! Food was delicious. Friendly service. Ambience was okay. I would definitely come back in this place.
We were not impressed with the menu choices. For an Italian Eatery it was lame.
Friendly staff though
Had a pleasant experience. Price was normal for restaurants on the strip. Portions were satisfying food was well prepared and flavorful. Had the veal marsala and my girlfriend had the lobster ravioli as mains for apps we had spicy shrimp and a caesar salad. I was disappointed that there was a skin on my marsala sauce which I believe was caused by heat lamps. When your spending the money you are you don't want to see things like that.
The hostess was unable to find my reservation in their system and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table with 3 kids whining and hungry.
Very satisfied with the Italian cuisine options. Plenty of servers and helpers for customer service.
Food was plentiful & delicious.
The food was good, but very expensive but that is what you get in Niagara Falls. Great ambiance, comfortable and attentive service. Would go there again.
